Sister Nan's Combat Strength is Unknown, But It's Probably Only a Tiny Bit Stronger

192: If he falls asleep instantly again, what will he do?Si Nan shook her head. ”I don’t count. I benefited from your good fortune; I didn’t awaken the Supernatural Ability myself, so it doesn’t count.”

”Alright, alright, if you say it doesn’t count, then it doesn’t, but you’re even stronger than someone who awakened their Supernatural Ability independently—you have Telekinesis.” Luo Sen affectionately tapped Si Nan’s nose.

Si Nan rolled her eyes. ”You have Telekinesis too, and right now I can only control objects under dozens of jin. I can’t lift a hundred jin; it’s too weak.”

”Hahaha, you should be content. Putting aside the fact that your Supernatural Ability just activated, that statement alone could infuriate those who can’t awaken a Supernatural Ability.” Luo Sen laughed heartily.

Si Nan’s previously cheerful face became serious again. ”But anyone who was bitten and didn’t turn into a shambling Zombie is the strongest type of human—that is, you Ability Users.

While you are good people whose original intentions haven’t changed, it’s hard to guarantee that there aren’t ambitious, conceited individuals among them. If those people commit evil, the consequences will be different, and it would be the greatest disaster for ordinary survivors.

Take you and An An, for example. I can beat An An now because he is too young and doesn’t know how to skillfully use his Supernatural Ability. But can I beat you? Can I withstand the siege of two or three evil Ability Users?”

Luo Sen took Si Nan’s hand and kissed it, automatically ignoring the serious issues in her words, and said in a seductive tone, ”You defeated me long ago, and without even lifting a finger.”

Si Nan pulled away and continued, ”Don’t change the subject. My point is that Ability Users with positive energy will definitely be recruited by The Authorities to form an Ability Army to fight and hunt Zombies and Zombie Beasts, search for supplies, and carry out other tasks, including hunting down evil Ability Users.

What if those evil Ability Users unite and start rampaging and killing everywhere? If they wanted to take over my Residential Area, my Yunshu Mountain Villa, it would be effortless.”

Luo Sen took off Si Nan’s jacket, tucked her into the covers, and pulled the blanket up. ”We’ll worry about the future later. Let’s focus on the present while making full preparations for the later stages.

The formation of a Special Military Force is inevitable, so leave that matter to me. I will keep an eye out for suitable people while searching for supplies. You should sleep now. I’m going to check on An An and those few brats.”

”Yes, hurry up and go. An An is different; he’s too young and naive, so make sure nothing happens.” Si Nan waved her hand. Aside from Gu Yan, the others were half-grown boys, making it awkward for her.

Fortunately, Luo Sen went. An An was acting like a little hedgehog, poking at Xue Liang, Cao Junjun, and Gu Shi—he bullied them regardless of age. They were only staying here for one night, so Gu Yan hadn’t prepared many rooms, assigning two Children per room.

But he insisted on having a room all to himself, forcing Xue Liang and the other two to share one room. That bed couldn’t fit all three youths, and they were currently trying to reason with him.

But An An was too small and relied on Luo Sen and Si Nan, refusing to back down. He stood with his hands on his hips, posing as a Crown Prince demanding why commoners dared to compete with him for a room:

”I’m telling you, forget about a room, even if I wanted this boat, Daddy and Mommy would figure out how to take it back for me to play with. Daddy and Mommy love me very, very, very much. Didn’t you see them holding me the whole way, afraid I might fall?

So, from now on, all four of you must listen to me. Whatever I tell you to do, you must do it. If I want something of yours, you must give it to me!”

”You infuriate me, you little squirt! I challenge you to a duel! You are not allowed to sleep on the bed my sister made! Ahhh~” Gu Shi couldn’t stand it anymore and ran toward An An.

The little fellow was utterly defiant and fearless. ”A duel? Fine! Watch me beat you until even your sister can’t recognize you.”

He grinned maliciously, and his two short legs started running, only to exclaim, ”Ahhh, who is blind enough to pick me up? Let go of me!”

Luo Sen’s chilling voice drilled into An An’s ears from above. ”Is this what you call obedience? Using the power I gave you to bully your own people? Stand straight!”

Startled by the coldness in his voice, An An’s small body trembled. His arrogant swagger vanished, and he stood with his small hands clasped behind his back, looking helpless and deeply wronged, tears welling up in his eyes.

Luo Sen now realized that The little fellow wasn’t exactly as he and Si Nan had seen; he was quite skilled at pretending, and very clever.

”I—I—I was just kidding with the older brothers.” After a long pause, The little fellow managed to squeeze out a forced explanation.

Luo Sen didn’t respond to him or move. He just stared at him coldly. The large man and the small Child stood in a standoff, and the air seemed to freeze.

As The little fellow stared, he eventually couldn’t bear to look at Luo Sen anymore. He didn’t dare call him Daddy, either, and silently looked at his toes. ”I’m sorry, I know I was wrong.”

Luo Sen didn’t press him on what exactly he did wrong, only saying coldly, ”Remember, I can give you power, and I can take it back at any time. If you cause trouble again, I will leave you here alone.”

”Waaah, Daddy, I was wrong! I won’t dare to do it again! Please don’t abandon me, okay? An An promises to be good.” The little fellow was terrified. He suddenly hugged Luo Sen’s thigh, his Golden Beans (tears) falling profusely, crying heartbrokenly.

Luo Sen would no longer be deceived by his facade. He forcefully pulled An An away, set him on the ground, and walked off. ”Your words have lost credibility. Show me through your actions.”

”Daddy, I really know I was wrong!” An An shouted at Luo Sen’s retreating back.

But Luo Sen did not look back.

Si Nan’s hearing was astonishing now; she had heard everything. The little fellow had become spoiled and arrogant so quickly. ”The little fellow is a bit naughty, but he is certainly clever. He gets that from you.”

She said this when Luo Sen entered.

”Don’t make it sound like he’s our biological Child. That little fellow just needs discipline; he must have been spoiled since birth.” Luo Sen took off his coat and got into bed.

Si Nan agreed with this. ”That’s normal, a common problem for those born into wealthy families.”

It had been another day of fighting and killing, and she was truly exhausted. The moment her head hit the pillow, she fell asleep.

Luo Sen: ”...”

She fell asleep instantly again, so what should he do?

He smiled bitterly, watching the sleeping Si Nan for five full minutes. He glanced at the time on his phone screen; it was very late, and only then did he lie down to sleep.

Just as he drifted off, he suddenly opened his eyes, quickly put on his clothes, and turned on the Floodlights around the boat. The sight that greeted him made his hair stand on end.

On the beach below, a school of large fish had appeared, having grown feet and learned to walk. Each one was bigger and fatter than any pig he had ever seen. Furthermore, their fins had turned into sharp spines, especially those along their backs, whose tips glowed faintly in the darkness, resembling the Devil’s Scythe used to harvest lives.

”These fish must have eaten Zombie flesh to evolve into terrifying Mutated Zombie Beasts. Their numbers are quite large, and they will be difficult to deal with. We absolutely cannot let them get close, or we’ll be stabbed into hedgehogs.” Si Nan appeared behind Luo Sen.

Luo Sen took her hand and led her to stand near the edge of the deck. ”I still woke you up. The hull is very high, and I’ve already cut the fixed cables and iron chains around it. Let’s see if they can climb up.”
