Sister Nan's Combat Strength is Unknown, But It's Probably Only a Tiny Bit Stronger

153: I thought it would be a tough battle, but the victory was a foregone conclusion.Si Nan smiled. ”I’m honored to give you a worthy death.”

”Wrong. You’re the first ungrateful woman I’ll kill. I’ll break your limbs and throw you to the zombies outside before you take your last breath.”

The Mercenary Leader suddenly raised his gun.

”Suits me fine. But once you’re dead, I’ll give you the same treatment I promised. I won’t mistreat you.”

Si Nan also raised her gun, then suddenly sneered. ”During that wild burst of fire, you fired 39 shots. Killing Second Young Master Qin just now was your last shot. This machine gun you’re holding can only hold a maximum of 40 rounds. May I ask how you plan to shoot me?”

”What?” The Mercenary Leader was stunned. He had been so angry that he hadn’t counted how many shots he’d fired. This woman’s mind was terrifying. However, ”I don’t believe you.”

”You can try if you don’t believe me.” Si Nan looked at him leisurely, not worried about her life at all.

”Hmph, this trial will cost your life. To think there’s such a fool like you in this world.” The Mercenary Leader suddenly pulled the trigger, but the expected bullet firing didn’t happen. His blood-smeared face froze for a moment, then he suddenly laughed hideously.

”Hahaha! Without this gun, I have others! I’m covered in equipment. Stupid woman, die!”

”Did I ever say I’d give you the chance to fire?” A shadow flickered before his eyes. Si Nan suddenly appeared in front of the Mercenary Leader, her small hand grabbing the wrist holding the gun, and then she gave him a sudden shoulder throw.

The gun flew to the side.

Si Nan raised her ancient saber and stabbed toward the Mercenary Leader’s heart, but she was kicked away by him. He scrambled up from the ground, looking as excited as if he had discovered a new continent:

”So you’re out of bullets too! You didn’t have time to reload because you were afraid I’d sneak-attack you, right? Hahaha! Now it’s fair. Let’s decide life and death with our hands.”

”You’re so talkative,” Si Nan snapped coldly, her ancient saber closing in on the Mercenary Leader’s neck.

”Fine, then I’ll beat your body into a flat man, ahahaha~” The Mercenary Leader was crazed, as if talking big could defeat Si Nan. He dodged the ancient saber and threw a fist toward Si Nan’s chest.

Si Nan narrowed her eyes at where the fist was aimed. She stopped holding back and accelerated to meet the challenge. ”You deserve to die. Since you dare to strike there, you’ll have to take a few more cuts. Right hand tendon severed—left hand tendon severed—carotid artery severed—left femoral artery severed—and finally the right femoral artery!”

She flickered around the Mercenary Leader like a legendary phantom, the ancient saber in her hand turning into shadows of light that ruthlessly sliced his body.

Wherever she called out, blood would spray. The Mercenary Leader didn’t even know what was happening; he just felt like every spot Si Nan mentioned had been bitten by an ant, nothing serious.

Ten seconds later, Si Nan suddenly stood still. Her back was to the Mercenary Leader as she looked up at the falling snow. Flake after flake, fluttering and pure, it was truly beautiful.

”Unfortunately, this pure white snow will be stained red by your filthy blood. But it doesn’t matter; it will soon be buried. And you can only watch as you die the way I planned for you—watching yourself be eaten alive by zombies until nothing is left.”

Then, the Mercenary Leader: *Thud!*

His tall frame slammed heavily onto the ground.

Si Nan reached out and looked at her hand, which hadn’t changed. She smiled and murmured to herself, ”Luo Sen, it’s you, isn’t it? Secretly injecting the power of the Emerald into my body while I’m asleep again. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have been able to speed up like that.”

”Well, that’s fine too. I thought it would be a hard fight, but the victory was decisive. I still don’t know where my limit is.”

After saying that, she drove over the old crane. She had left it behind when she left last time, originally for Song Yuan and the others to move things.

Now, she hooked up the not-yet-dead Mercenary Leader and sent him over the courtyard wall.

”Please don’t throw me to the zombies... I—I’ll trade information with you,” the Mercenary Leader pleaded while hanging in mid-air.

”Oh? Then it depends on whether your information is worth an intact corpse.” Si Nan remained unmoved, continuing to move him toward the wall.

”It is!” The Mercenary Leader pointed at Old Man Deng’s body and said, ”That old thing Deng Zhang was the richest man in G City, wealthy enough to rival nations. He—he not only owns a private island and a private yacht, but he also built a garden villa in G City. It’s huge and beautiful.”

”This old guy was very smart. On the night the virus broke out, he emptied three large underground supermarkets. They’re all in—in—”

The Mercenary Leader was fading. Almost all his major arteries had been severed by Si Nan. His blood was flowing too fast, and his vision had already gone black.

”Where?” Si Nan asked urgently.

”In—in the underground warehouse of his villa... but you can’t get in—hahaha—there are hundreds of—ah—”

”Hundreds of what?”

But the Mercenary Leader simply breathed his last.

”Go on, clear your head. *Thud!*” Si Nan threw the man directly over the wall. Zombies swarmed around him instantly, though unfortunately, no screams were heard.

”Sister Nan, are you hurt?” Bai Zichuan and the others arrived.

”Just a few scratches, nothing serious.” Si Nan shook her head. The others looked at the bodies strewn about and worked together to scavenge items from the three men before using the old crane to dump all the bodies outside.

Xiao Wen brought a first-aid kit to treat Si Nan’s scratches.

Si Nan was flipping through Deng Zhang’s phone, thinking about the supplies from the three supermarkets in the villa that the Mercenary Leader had mentioned. This was much more direct than searching for supplies bit by bit—and it was three supermarkets!

She was certain that a supermarket chosen by someone as wealthy as a nation wouldn’t be small. It would surely be as large as the Century Department Store she had emptied, or at least half its size. Hahaha, just thinking about it was incredibly satisfying. ”Hehehe~”

”Uh, Sister Nan, what good thing are you thinking about to laugh so... interestingly?” Xiao Wen, who was bandaging the wound, suddenly heard Si Nan’s wicked laughter and got goosebumps all over. It was too scary.

Si Nan immediately snapped back to reality and coughed lightly. ”Cough, nothing. I just thought of what that dead mercenary said.”

Suddenly, she thought of something. Her face grew tense as she stood up abruptly. ”Ah, no! Song Yuan’s pregnant wife is still locked in the stainless steel cabinet! Hurry and let her out before she suffocates! Quick, quick, quick!”

”What? Sister Nan! There’s poor ventilation and not enough oxygen in there! Ahhh—” Xiao Wen turned into a speedster and vanished in a flash, praying that nothing was wrong. That was two lives at stake!

Outside, Bai Rong and her husband Bai Zichuan had just reached the door with their Child. Hearing this, she shoved the baby into Bai Zichuan’s arms and quickly hopped onto the electric scooter by the door to chase after Guan Xiaowen. ”Hop on! I’ll go with you.”

Ten minutes later, Mei Xue was carried over, her legs covered in blood. Guan Xiaowen shouted at the top of her lungs, ”Sister Nan, Sister Mei is going into premature labor! But I’m not an obstetrician. I don’t know if the baby’s position is correct. We can only leave it to fate now!”
