Sister Nan's Combat Strength is Unknown, But It's Probably Only a Tiny Bit Stronger

169: Anyone who dares to steal from me, I’ll blast them to death with a rocket launcher!Jian Bing’s heart was in turmoil, and he shook his head frantically. ”No, no, no, it’s not that I’ve been ignoring the outside world. It’s just that when The Authorities and those wealthy tycoons were discussing establishing a Safety Zone, this mansion was mentioned; it was the top choice.

Yunshu Mountain Villa isn’t just safe; it’s vast, with advanced and complete facilities. Moreover, it has many rooms and the capacity to grow crops, making it the most suitable sanctuary.

However, because the Huangfu Family was still alive and well at the time, and it was a private residence, The Authorities temporarily gave up on it. In the end, they settled on stadiums, enclosed factories, air-raid shelters, and so on.

But The Authorities only gave up temporarily; those wealthy people are all waiting, impatient to take this mansion for themselves.

Girl, how did you take down this mansion? It must have been quite thrilling, right?”

”No, no, no, it wasn’t thrilling at all. In less than an hour, Luo Sen and I took it over. Consider it luck; when the zombie virus broke out, this place hadn’t officially opened yet—it was in the final preparation phase—and its owner, Huangfu Qiankun, wasn’t here.

*Cough, cough.* I received definite news that he died outside. When I arrived, I happened to encounter the second young master, Huangfu Qianfeng, acting like a local tyrant with women in his arms. He was abusing the servants, not treating them like human beings at all, and letting his bodyguards hack and kill them indiscriminately.

Those servants are human too, so they grabbed whatever they could and fought back. That scene—the family estate—had countless casualties. They fought to the bitter end, so I just happened to benefit from it.”

”—”

Jian Bing: Is that really how it happened? Are you trying to infuriate me? The tycoons are all racking their brains to figure out how to seize this mansion, thinking about what kind of firepower they need, and you just took it over so casually?

Luo Sen: Nan Nan can lie now without even blinking.

Old Couple Zhou: Heavens, that luck is simply beyond words.

Si Nan added, ”However, that profligate son actually won the infighting. I really couldn’t stand it anymore; he wouldn’t even spare the women and children. It was tragic, so in a fit of rage, I took care of all of them.”

”—”

Jian Bing blinked: Why did he feel like he didn’t believe her?

Luo Sen, holding back internal laughter: Hahaha, Nan Nan is still the best. She can lie someone to death without consequence. He liked it.

Old Zhou and his Spouse clapped and cheered, ”Well handled! Why keep such a beast alive?”

Jian Bing took out his phone and said nervously, ”The Authorities only gave up temporarily; they might move again. I must tell Old Ji immediately.”

Si Nan nodded quickly. ”Yes, yes, tell him quickly. Tell him this mansion has an owner now. No one should even think about taking it. Whoever dares to come and snatch it, I’ll blast them to death with a Rocket Launcher!”

Jian Bing: ”—”

When he relayed this news to Ji Yan, Ji Yan, who was on a helicopter, was stunned.

After a moment, he let out an intoxicating laugh, slapping his thigh and laughing heartily. ”Hahaha, this girl is even more formidable than her old man! I knew she still had secrets from us. Hahaha, I know how to report to the leadership now. Let her live there in peace.”

After he finished laughing, he reminded Si Nan, ”I guarantee The Authorities won’t interfere again, but those wealthy tycoons definitely won’t let it go. You must be fully prepared.”

Si Nan curled her lips. ”I’m always prepared. If one day there are a few less surviving tycoons, don’t be surprised. It was definitely my doing.”

”Hahaha, good! I like hearing that. Satisfying!” Ji Yan excitedly put away his phone.

The task of arranging things for Old Couple Zhou was handed to Xiao Wen. Si Nan rode her electric scooter to see her ’lean horse in the west wind.’ Inside, Ma Bufan and Guan Xiaoning were fully geared up like thieves, showing only their eyes. They were hunched over shoveling horse manure, humming songs and working happily.

”I love shoveling manure, it keeps the body strong—”

”I love working, it keeps the skin healthy—”

The two were singing back and forth when they suddenly saw a shadow cast from behind.

The two turned around and saw it was Si Nan. They dropped their large iron shovels and rushed over joyfully. ”Oh, Sister Nan, why didn’t you give us a heads-up? I could have dressed up handsomely to welcome you and maybe charm you while I was at it.”

”Stop fooling around. The manure isn’t finished yet; keep up the good work. Have the frozen horses been dealt with?” Si Nan turned Ma Bufan’s head toward the remaining pile of manure and asked him.

Ma Bufan shook his head like a rattle. ”Not yet, not yet. There are too many; I reckon Brother Song will be busy for several days.”

”It’s fine, no rush. Take it slow. Air-drying it into beef jerky makes it easy to store.” She spoke as she walked, ”How many horses are left in total?”

Guan Xiaoning held up two fingers. ”Exactly 20. Among them are 12 mares and 8 stallions. None of the foals survived.”

”Hahaha, that’s enough. Once we feed them up and make them strong, they can have foals. In the future, we’ll have a place to dispose of wheat straw, leaves, and wild grass, and we’ll have an endless supply of fresh beef.”

The more Si Nan looked, the happier she became. She was beaming, unable to close her mouth from smiling.

”Mhm, beef, chicken, eggs... oh, and milk! We can produce it all ourselves in the future. This is great!” Ma Bufan, the foodie, began counting the items.

Meanwhile, Luo Sen was checking the surveillance footage from the past few days. He discovered that yesterday, several helicopters had intentionally flown low when they spotted Yunshu Mountain Villa. Two of them had the surnames of great families printed on their fuselages: Du and Kong!

As far as he knew, there were no wealthy tycoons from these two families in City A. The richest man in the nearest City B was surnamed Du, and the richest man in the further City G was surnamed Kong. It couldn’t be a coincidence—he suspected these two families had set their sights on Yunshu Mountain Villa since the start of the Apocalypse and were scouting it out. Thinking of this, and seeing the sky darkening outside, he immediately pressed the switch for the Sky Curtain to seal the entire residential area, leaving only the rear gate and small observation windows for combat use.

He then issued an urgent warning over the loudspeaker: ”Everyone, return inside the Sky Curtain at top speed! Hide in your rooms and do not come out. If I’m not mistaken, a powerful enemy is coming.”

”Aaaah, what? Someone’s coming to steal our house?” Ma Bufan and Guan Xiaoning were shocked when they heard this and hurriedly dropped their iron shovels.

Si Nan, Ma Bufan, and Guan Xiaoning were all in the stable. Hearing Luo Sen’s grave voice over the loudspeaker, she immediately told Ma Bufan and Guan Xiaoning, ”You two, ride the electric scooters back quickly.”

”Yes! Sister Nan, you should leave quickly too.” Ma Bufan grabbed Si Nan’s arm to run out.

”You two go first; I’ll close the doors.” Si Nan pushed Ma Bufan away and ran to close the stable’s doors and windows. She glanced at the stable; unless it was hit by a weapon like a Rocket Launcher, it wouldn’t collapse. The horses should be fine.

She turned and hopped on her electric scooter to rush back, calling Luo Sen at the same time. ”We were just talking about it on the way; has someone come to scout the place already?”

Luo Sen’s expression was grim. ”Most likely. I checked the surveillance; two helicopters came yesterday. They were clever; they started by flying low and slow, then suddenly climbed high, staying at an altitude at least two thousand meters away from Yunshu, using high-powered binoculars to observe the entire villa carefully.

The distance was too great, so the later surveillance couldn’t capture them, and Song Yuan and the others couldn’t hear the helicopters. I only just made the judgment after amplifying the audio and faintly hearing them.

If it’s true, this will be a tough battle. We must prepare immediately.”
