Sister Nan's Combat Strength is Unknown, But It's Probably Only a Tiny Bit Stronger

159: Could it be that you skipped him?Si Nan curled her lips, ”Yeah, I saw it.”

The message continued: ”A Sen’s blood has run out. Tell Ji Yan to bring back a few more tubes of A Sen’s blood when he returns.”

”It’s strange. The serum I developed earlier still can’t prevent other soldiers from turning into zombies after being bitten. It seems I need to restart my research.”

Meng Liqi (Luo Sen’s mother) believed that only a powerful Corpse King could deal with ordinary zombies. If their bloodthirsty nature couldn’t be removed, then they could only be killed.

On the way, Si Nan asked Gu Jie how the situation was at the Residential Area now.

Gu Jie replied, ”All is calm.”

Si Nan was no longer in a hurry. She had Luo Sen turn around and head to the shop where she bought weapons before the Apocalypse. She felt that military shovels weren’t enough, but it was impossible to distribute guns to the ordinary people in Building Unit 3.

Moreover, there were many elderly, weak, sick, disabled, and pregnant people there. They wouldn’t know how to use guns even if given to them, and might accidentally shoot themselves. military shovels were more practical. Even if invaders came, not every group would have guns.

She wanted to empty out that shop.

They had crossed districts. Si Nan found the Armored Vehicle too slow and switched to Huangfu Qiankun’s handsome Sports Car halfway. That speed—that power—it sent zombies flying without a doubt.

With Luo Sen, the Corpse King, present, they arrived smoothly at the shop’s entrance. Her luck was great; the shop door was still tightly closed and intact.

Si Nan ran forward excitedly, ”Great, the things inside must still be there.”

Just as her hand touched the shop door, a light suddenly turned on upstairs. ”Who dares to come and rob my shop?”

”This familiar, heavy voice—” Si Nan took a few steps back and looked up. ”Yo, Boss big head and big ears? You’re still alive?”

The Weapon Shop Owner was also shocked. ”Yo, it’s you! You’re alive too! Coming to my shop in the middle of the night, surely you aren’t here to buy weapons again?”

”Sure, I’ll take a loss. I’ll trade for that Sports Car behind you, or you!”

He spoke with a hint of gritted teeth, proving he was very unhappy. A month into the Apocalypse was enough for him to realize Si Nan had known it was coming. Yet, after doing business with her twice, she hadn’t given him a single word of warning, making him hate her to death.

He thought he’d never see her again, but unexpectedly, she had come to him of her own accord. Wasn’t this an opportunity for him to take revenge?

But Si Nan’s Beauty also made him salivate. In this apocalyptic environment, to have such a Beauty accompany him would be wonderful and delightful; it would be worth dying for!

”I think there’s no need for you to stay alive.” Luo Sen got out of the Sports Car, holding a long-style women’s Down Jacket. This was part of a batch of supplies he had just scavenged a few days ago, specifically picking out ten pieces in Si Nan’s size. This was the first one.

He walked over and naturally put it on Si Nan, carefully zipping it up and adjusting the collar and the hood behind her. Only then did he look up at big head and big ears on the second floor, the killing intent in his eyes unconcealed.

”So what if there’s another man? Talk to me after you figure out how to walk through walls to get up here.” big head and big ears upstairs spoke with conviction, sounding very confident.

His shop was exceptionally sturdy. It had been specially reinforced and renovated to prevent thieves from stealing his weapons. As long as he didn’t open the ground floor door, even guns couldn’t shoot through the first-floor protective door.

They couldn’t even dream of getting up to his safe and comfortable second floor. Besides, he had real hardware in his hands.

On the night the virus broke out, he had stayed too late and was trapped here, unable to return home to reunite with his wife.

Life without a woman was a bit lonely. He had been nearly driven crazy this past month. A Beauty had just arrived downstairs; he had to keep her no matter what, provided he could find a way to deal with that eyesore of a man.

”Now that I think about it, it’s lucky I stayed so late that night. Otherwise, how could I have such a beautiful little Beauty to accompany me for the rest of my life? Hahaha—Ah, how did you get up here?”

Before his laughter could end, a shadow suddenly appeared outside the glass window.

Luo Sen appeared suddenly and shattered the glass with a shot, the bullet heading straight for the space between big head and big ears’ eyebrows.

”So what if you’re up here? Die and get down!” big head and big ears reacted quickly. His fat body ducked abruptly, dodging Luo Sen’s bullet, and he raised his gun to fire at Luo Sen.

Unfortunately, Luo Sen’s second and third bullets arrived. With two bangs, they embedded themselves directly into big head and big ears’ heart and kidney. The power of the two bullets knocked his fat body back, crashing into the coffee table behind him, and the gun in his hand fell to the floor.

Luo Sen wasn’t in a hurry to enter. Instead, he used a military shovel to clear away all the broken glass around the window. Then, from the nearby balcony, he picked up Si Nan and brought her into the room.

After entering, he walked over to big head and big ears, who was twitching on the coffee table. His long legs came to a stop as he looked down at the bleeding, dying big head and big ears, his lips curling perfectly:

”Fat Pig, you’re lucky to have met me. I’ll let you experience a peak life moment by feeling what it’s like to be bitten by zombies. They’ve been hungry for a long time; they won’t let you suffer for too long. Go on.”

With that, he grabbed one of the owner’s legs and lifted him up. The owner, weighing over 200 pounds, swayed in his hand like a fat duck.

The owner, not yet dead, began to beg, ”Big brother, everything here... is... yours. Please don’t... don’t throw me... down... please... please!”

”Whether you die or not, everything here is mine. Go on, enjoy yourself.”

With a whoosh and a flick of Luo Sen’s wrist, the big head and big ears boss was thrown out the window like a discarded rag.

Instantly, ”Roar—”

The zombies downstairs roared and swarmed in. The Fat Pig let out a heart-wrenching scream, which soon faded into silence, leaving only the sounds of zombies fighting and chewing.

Inside, Si Nan was conducting a carpet-style search for items, cursing all the while, ”This damn old geezer, hiding good stuff and refusing to sell it to me.”

”Luo Sen, you don’t know. I bought a crate of guns from him before, and he said a friend of his had left them with him.”

”Look at these now. Every single one is an advanced, high-quality gun. This old guy had connections. He probably wanted to save them to sell for a high price. Too bad the Apocalypse came before he could sell them. Now, they’re all mine.”

”After all that trouble, they’re mine anyway. A zero-dollar shopping spree feels even better.”

”But then again, I didn’t lose out much. There were quite a few bullets at the bottom of that crate back then. That Fat Pig didn’t even know.”

”Hahaha, you still lost out. You lost out on not gouging his eyes out then.” Luo Sen casually picked up a knife and toyed with it. Compared to guns, he preferred knives.

Seeing that he always liked playing with knives, Si Nan took an ancient saber out from her space and gave it to him. ”This one suits you better. Try the feel of it.”

A beautiful ancient saber suddenly appeared before Luo Sen’s eyes, even more beautiful than the one she usually used. He took it happily. ”This saber has a long history. Where did you get this antique? You didn’t have the money to bid on something like this before the Apocalypse.”

”Hahaha~” She laughed and asked Luo Sen in return, ”Then do you know why Zhuo Guangshun wants to kill me so badly whenever he sees me?”

Luo Sen’s lips curved. ”Could it be that you swiped it from him?”
