Sister Nan's Combat Strength is Unknown, But It's Probably Only a Tiny Bit Stronger

116: Sister Nan, you are my heaven, my earth, my goddess, my love.Si Nan’s tone was chillingly cold. ”No one else will come.”

After speaking, she opened the door and walked out, with Luo Sen following her the entire time.

Si Nan went straight upstairs and blasted open the door to that man’s home with a single shot. The three people inside were startled. ”Who are you? Get out—ah—bang!”

There were two men and one woman inside. The man who spoke grabbed a weapon to deal with Si Nan, but Luo Sen pinned his head and slammed it violently into the wall. A flower of blood bloomed in the indentation, and after his limbs convulsed a few times, he went still.

”Ah!” The remaining man and woman looked at Luo Sen as if they were seeing a vengeful spirit. They huddled together in terror. ”You, you, you—you’re not human! What do you—what do you want? You can take all our food, just don’t kill us.”

Si Nan sat on the sofa, interrogating the man with a queenly air. ”Are you the bosses of this building?”

”No! No! That was my brother acting on his own. He was the one who had the evil idea to use everyone in the building to kill for food. He just wanted us brothers to live a bit longer, what’s wrong with that?”

Si Nan coldly scanned the man, whose dark circles under his eyes suggested excessive debauchery, and the woman in his arms, who looked exhausted and so frightened she was almost falling asleep. She knew neither of them was any good. ”So you were all in it together, and you set your sights on Bai Zichuan’s family downstairs?”

”That was my brother, I didn’t go,” the man continued to quibble, but the down jacket he wore, splattered with fresh blood, betrayed him.

Si Nan raised her gun and aimed it at the man’s forehead. ”Last question: besides you, how many other rabble in this building are under your control?”

The two of them fell to their knees with a thud. This time they were truly terrified, and their stubbornness vanished. ”No—none left. After the zombies went crazy yesterday, only a dozen people remained, and they’ve all died just now. In—including my brother, he was killed by you too. Please, spare us! This woman and I really didn’t do anything. You can take all the remaining food.”

”Bang!” Si Nan pulled the trigger. With a soft thud, a bloody hole was blown into the man’s head. She stood up expressionlessly. ”But you participated.”

”Ah! You killed him, what am I supposed to do? I’ll kill you!” Seeing the man dead, the woman picked up a stool and tried to smash it over Si Nan’s head.

Luo Sen sent her flying with a single kick, stool and all.

Si Nan found it strange. ”I saved you from the abuse of these two beasts; you should be thanking me. Why try to kill me?”

”How can I live without them? Ahhh, I’m going to kill you!” The woman had gone mad. Just one month of life in the Apocalypse had twisted her mindset; having been brainwashed into believing she could only survive by depending on men, she screamed as she crawled back up to continue her attack on Si Nan.

Si Nan didn’t want to waste a bullet. Her body blurred into an afterimage as her ancient saber slashed the woman’s throat. The screaming stopped abruptly, blood sprayed out, and the corpse collapsed to the floor.

Luo Sen admired Si Nan’s quick and clean movements and said, ”Sister is so cool!” Nan Nan’s speed and agility had improved again.

Upon returning to Bai Zichuan’s home, Si Nan instructed everyone in the group chat: ”Everyone, pack your things. Pack all the food, bring weapons and thick clothes, and wait for my notice to move.”

The group chat exploded. Ma Bufan was overjoyed. ”Wooo, thank you for taking me in, Sister Nan. I can finally save my little life.”

Si Nan replied: ”You’re thinking too much. I’m taking you to a safe place for now, but you’ll have to come back to work after a while.”

”Ah? Oh, oh, oh, that’s fine, that’s fine. I’ll do anything. I’ll listen to everything Sister Nan says. Sister Nan, you are my sky, my earth, my goddess, my love.” Ma Bufan was the first to give a passionate confession. As long as he could leave that courtyard full of zombies, he would even clean out a latrine.

Besides, how could Sister Nan’s beautiful and Safe House have a latrine? He was actually going to live in a Safe House in this lifetime. Sob, sob, it hasn’t been easy.

Si Nan: ”Would it kill you to stop being so cheeky?”

Ma Bufan sent a grinning emoji: ”Ah, yes. If I don’t express my adoration for you, Sister Nan, I won’t be able to live.”

Si Nan ignored him.

Song Yuan and his wife were shocked for a moment, then ran to the window to peer toward Si Nan’s house. ”This is great! If we can live at Sister Nan’s place, we won’t have to worry about zombies anymore.”

”Yeah, but it means abandoning our own house. I’m really reluctant. We worked so hard for so many years to buy this place, and now we have to abandon it—”

Mei Xue looked around at her familiar surroundings. Every item had been carefully selected by her, and now she was giving it all up.

Song Yuan hugged his wife. ”Don’t worry, the house is still here. The important thing now is to stay alive. The baby is about to be born, and having a Safe House to live in will give us peace of mind.”

”Mhm, you’re right. Even Bai Zichuan almost lost his life. The living are scarier than the zombies.” Thinking of what happened to Bai Zichuan, Mei Xue immediately let go of her reluctance.

They all misunderstood, didn’t they?

They thought Si Nan was taking them to live in her own home, but it was impossible for Si Nan to let others stay in her house. She was taking them to Yunshu Mountain Villa to feed chickens.

Not only did Yunshu Mountain Villa need people to feed chickens, but the vast lawn also needed to be reclaimed. When spring came, they could plant crops and vegetables; no one was going to get a free ride.

She had thought of this the first time she saw the large golf course lawn.

The food inside the Villa had already been collected into her Space. If they had enough food, they would become complacent and lose their sense of crisis, and there was no guarantee their hearts wouldn’t change.

Seeing that Bai Zichuan was fine, Si Nan left a few boxes of medicine and returned home with Luo Sen. She washed herself clean and then cooked a delicious meal.

The incident with Bai Zichuan made Si Nan very unhappy, but it was also a perfectly normal occurrence.

Luo Sen asked her, ”Nan Nan, are you unhappy because of that injured man?”

”Pfft—Nan Nan?” Si Nan was so thunderstruck that she spat out her rice. Even her parents had never called her that.

Once she recovered, she asked, ”What did you just say? Unhappy because of a man? Are you talking about Bai Zichuan?”

Luo Sen hurriedly pulled out a tissue to wipe her mouth personally.

Si Nan snatched the tissue from his hand and did it herself. ”What are you thinking? I’m not unhappy because of that man, nor will I be unhappy because of any man. I’m just thinking that the things I want to do need to be moved forward.

Luo Sen, I’m going to take over this Residential Area. Those willing to submit and those who are obedient can stay; those who aren’t will all be dealt with.

You probably don’t know, and even if I told you, you wouldn’t understand right now. Just consider me talking to myself.

I am not naturally a murderous person, but having a second chance at life, I cannot repeat the mistakes of my past life. In the end, I was betrayed and killed, leaving not even a whole corpse behind.

Before the virus broke out, I told you that the world would change and zombies would appear.

That’s because I am a person who has been reborn. It’s that magical and unbelievable. In my past life, both you and I died. And you died for me, all because of my naive kindness in taking in Gao Ming, Xia Mi, and many neighbors in this Residential Area.

But in the end, they colluded from the inside and out to take this house from me, divided up all my supplies, and finally beat me until I was crippled and dying before throwing me into the zombie horde outside. I—”
