Urban Martial Saint

Upon hearing Ye Qing’s words, Fat Wang finally felt a bit more at ease. He took a look at the cave and said, ”I still feel it’s unsafe. How about we go in together? With an extra person, there’s more support!”

”No way, I’ll go in alone. You all wait for me here, and no one is allowed to come in!” Ye Qing responded decisively. He dared to go in so boldly because he possessed the powers of Buddhist and Taoist Magic, so even if he encountered danger, it wouldn’t be a big deal. But Fat Wang and the others were different. If they went down, it would be dangerous. After all, what’s trapped down there might be Shakyamuni, and if it can trap him, wouldn’t Fat Wang and his group be annihilated upon entry?

Seeing Ye Qing’s firm attitude, Fat Wang was unable to say anything else. The three of them watched Ye Qing jump into the hollow space. Fat Wang immediately jumped down from the Tai Chi Circle, lay on the ground, and took a closer look, exclaiming, ”Wow, he really didn’t fall down; there truly is another world down here!”

”We don’t know what’s going on down there; could there be danger?” Big Beard asked worriedly.

”Nonsense, you ask me, who do I ask!” Fat Wang stared at the hole for a while, suddenly raised his eyebrows and said, ”There are two holes here, come on, give me a rope as well; I’ll tie myself up and check out the other hole.”

”You’re going down?” Big Beard immediately widened his eyes and said, ”We don’t know what’s going on down there; besides, Mr. Ye said to wait for him to come back before doing anything!”

”Come on, if we wait for him, the flowers will be cold. Besides, there’s that golden light in the cave; if something needs to be resolved, better to do it quickly. I’ll go down too; two people can act separately, which will be much faster.” Fat Wang waved his hand and said, ”Alright, stop blabbering, get me a rope. Fat Lord has seen all kinds of storms and waves; such a small place shouldn’t be able to do anything to me!”

Big Beard couldn’t stop Fat Wang, so he could only hand him a rope. Fat Wang tied the rope around his waist and directly jumped into the hollow space of the black area. His situation was the same as Ye Qing’s; he vanished after jumping down, showing that both holes led to another world.

After Ye Qing jumped down, he directly fell into a downward slope, sliding about ten meters before landing on the ground. Just as he landed, he heard someone below muttering, ”Ouch, ouch, ouch damn it!”

Ye Qing looked up and saw not far in front of him was a monk sitting in a kasaya. The kasaya seemed not to have been washed for a long time, greasy and looking quite sloppy. The monk’s hair was partially shaved, with patches still growing out. Such an appearance and style could only belong to Shakyamuni!

”Old baldy!” Ye Qing exclaimed in surprise. He hadn’t expected to see Shakyamuni just after jumping down; it was quite a coincidence.

Upon hearing Ye Qing’s voice, Shakyamuni looked up. Seeing Ye Qing, he immediately perked up and said, ”Oh, you kid finally showed up. If you didn’t come soon, Buddha Master would’ve died in here!”

”What happened?” Ye Qing asked Shakyamuni in alarm, ”This place isn’t that high; why didn’t you just get out?”

”Nonsense, I wish I could go out, but can I even get out?” Shakyamuni retorted irritably. Suddenly remembering something, he added, ”By the way, were those two stones thrown down by you earlier?”

Ye Qing looked down and saw two stones beside Shakyamuni, with one hand covering his head. No need to guess, those stones had hit Shakyamuni.

”Uh, this... this wasn’t thrown by me...” Ye Qing quickly said.

Shakyamuni immediately got angry and said, ”Then who threw them? Damn it, someone specially found such big stones. If Buddha Master wasn’t Vajra Indestructible, I’m afraid I’d be dead from those hits; this is attempted murder!”

”Uh, this... these were thrown by some bad people...” Ye Qing quickly deflected and shifted the topic, saying, ”By the way, you said you couldn’t get out, why can’t you get out? I don’t see anyone tying you up here!”

Shakyamuni’s attention was diverted by Ye Qing’s words. Pointing to a stone platform not far away, he said, ”Indeed, no one bound me, but once I entered this place, I couldn’t get out!”

”Why?” Ye Qing was puzzled, looking at the stone platform, which seemed quite ordinary without any special features.

”Do you know what this place is?” Shakyamuni asked back.

”What place is it?” Ye Qingqi asked curiously. He had wanted to ask this question. When they entered, there was a Tai Chi Circle outside, from the circle entrance to this place; it was truly hidden.

”This place is where Patriarch Bodhidharma left his item back then.” Shakyamuni said.

Ye Qing wondered, ”Isn’t that something from your Buddhist sect? Why can’t you leave then?”

”The crux of the problem lies here.” Shijia looked at Ye Qing and said, ”The key issue is, I came a step later than others!”

”Huh?” Ye Qing looked at Shijia in surprise and said, ”You mean, the item left by Patriarch Bodhidharma has already been taken by someone else?”

Shijia shook his head and said, ”Not quite. The item left by Patriarch Bodhidharma, besides Wu Tianchi, probably no one in the world can take it away!”

”Then what’s going on?” Ye Qing looked at Shijia and said, ”Can you say it all at once? Can you not speak in such a drawn-out way?”

”Listen to me explain slowly.” Shijia sighed and said, ”First, you need to understand what exactly Patriarch Bodhidharma left behind!”

”What is it?” Ye Qing wondered, this was the question he had always wanted to ask, and now Shijia was finally about to explain.

Shijia said, ”The item left behind by Patriarch Bodhidharma is something you’ve actually seen before.”

”What exactly is it?” Ye Qing urged impatiently. Why is Shijia speaking in such fragments, so unstraightforward?

Shijia took a deep breath and said solemnly, ”It is the Acala Buddha Seal itself!”

”What’s that?” Ye Qing widened his eyes. He knew about the Immovable Bodhisattva Seal; he had seen two of them, and Fu Qingping had also seen one before. The Immovable Mountain Bodhisattva Seal was left by the Immovable King Supreme Bodhisattva to suppress evil demons. Ye Qing was not unfamiliar with this. But what does ’itself’ mean? Is the Immovable Bodhisattva Seal divided into the main body and parts?

”This Acala Buddha Seal itself is actually transformed from the power of the Immovable King Supreme Bodhisattva, and inside it is the Honored Buddha’s Relic Sharira.” Shijia said, ”The reason it’s called ’itself’ is because this Immovable Bodhisattva Seal controls all other Immovable Bodhisattva Seals. A simple example: the Immovable Bodhisattva Seal you saw in the cave where Patriarch Bodhidharma passed away is controlled by this ’itself.’ You can use the ’itself’ to reinforce the seal of that Immovable Bodhisattva Seal, or you can use the ’itself’ to lift the seal of that Immovable Bodhisattva Seal!”

”Huh?” Ye Qing’s eyes widened. This was indeed a miraculous thing.

”Can this Acala Buddha Seal itself seal other things?” Ye Qing asked.

”Of course it can, isn’t that obvious?” Shijia said, ”The Acala Buddha Seal itself contains the most powerful force of the Immovable King Supreme Bodhisattva, the sealing effect is the best, and the power is the strongest. Not only can it seal and suppress a person, but even exterminating a peak master like the Corpse Ghost Dragon is an easy task!”

”Isn’t that about the same power as the Buddha’s Relic Sharira?” Ye Qing exclaimed.

Shijia thought for a moment and said, ”Uh, the power of the Acala Buddha Seal itself is slightly less than that of the Honored Buddha’s Relic Sharira. However, no matter the difference, killing the Corpse Ghost Dragon is absolutely not a problem!”

”Is that so?” Ye Qing looked around excitedly and said, ”Then where exactly is this Acala Buddha Seal itself? If we get this item, wouldn’t defeating the Wanyan Family and the Sword Saint Sect be a piece of cake?”

”This...” Shijia scratched his head awkwardly and said, ”Although the power of the Acala Buddha Seal itself is very strong, a very key issue is that its power, like the Honored Buddha’s Relic Sharira, also needs a human medium to be exerted!”

”Damn it!” Ye Qing suddenly cursed, this was the last thing he wanted to hear. Back when they dealt with the Corpse Ghost Dragon, it was about transferring the power of the Buddha’s Relic Sharira into him, and then using him to defeat the Corpse Ghost Dragon. At that time, Ye Qing was the medium of the Buddha’s Relic Sharira’s power, but being the medium required a great cost. For instance, Ye Qing’s meridians were completely destroyed, his martial arts were utterly ruined, and being alive now was also considered a miracle.

If the Acala Buddha Seal itself’s power must be exerted through a human medium, then this Acala Buddha Seal itself is basically useless. It’s used once, and it costs a life, and it must be the life of a peak master, how can it be used? Moreover, the most crucial point is, even if a peak master desperately wants to be this medium, who can know if the power of the Acala Buddha Seal itself will first burst this peak master to death?

”This Acala Buddha Seal itself, like the Buddha’s Relic Sharira, requires a human life as the cost to be exerted.” Ye Qing looked at Shijia and said, ”In essence, this is still useless, so why are you so eager to find this thing? Yes, this thing’s power is not as good as the Buddha’s Relic Sharira in my possession, you still go to so much trouble. Don’t you find it troublesome?”

Shijia waved his hand and said, ”That’s not the way to put it. Although the Acala Buddha Seal itself cannot be exerted casually, and its power is not as good as the Buddha’s Relic Sharira, it has a very important role, and I must find this item!”
