Urban Martial Saint

Ye Qing previously learned something about the Three Gates of Heaven, Earth, and Human. These gates open periodically, usually only one gate at a time, and rarely two gates. As for all three gates being open simultaneously, that’s something that has never happened.

So now, the news Ye Qing received in the Tomb of Guiguzi is truly the greatest secret regarding the Three Gates of Heaven, Earth, and Human. The congregation of the Three Stars of Destruction will trigger the opening of the Three Gates of Heaven, Earth, and Human together, an unprecedented event in history.

Opening one gate alone is enough to make countless people compete desperately. Opening two gates would drive people even more frantic. So what would it be like if all three gates were open simultaneously?

Undoubtedly, if the Three Gates of Heaven, Earth, and Human open together, the world’s martial artists will inevitably go completely mad for it. However, what caught Ye Qing’s attention most was that once the Three Gates open, chaos in the world would be unavoidable. This means that if the Three Gates are opened together, it would plunge the world into absolute chaos. In other words, the opening of the Three Gates is not a lucky event for humanity, but a calamity!

The opening of the Three Gates leads to great chaos!

Ye Qing didn’t understand what Guiguzi meant by ”great chaos,” but the following message was definitely meant for him. Ye Qing acquired the power of the Primal Mysterious Body and became the heir of the Dao, also mentioned was Holder of the Taoist Sovereignty; Ye Qing didn’t quite understand this since he wasn’t familiar with the concept of Taoist Sovereign. However, what truly shook him was the phrase: breaking the Calamity of Gods!

Various Gods? What does ”Various Gods” mean? It’s certainly not just one god, at least several, right!

Breaking the Calamity of Gods, what does this mean? Could it be that many gods will appear to create chaos among humans, and then he is supposed to resolve this chaos?

Ye Qing was shocked at the existence of gods and even more so at the Calamity of Gods. According to Guiguzi’s records, gods are completely antagonistic to humans rather than condescending. The Calamity of Gods, meaning many gods would come forth and be enemies to mankind? But what grievances exist between gods and humans? Why must they be opposed? Why must they war? Why do gods spread chaos among humans?

Guiguzi did not explain, and Ye Qing could not guess. However, Guiguzi also stated that all answers lie within the Three Gates of Heaven, Earth, and Human. This means Ye Qing must open the Three Gates to understand the reasons and clarify the relationship between gods and humans.

But if the Three Gates are opened together, the gods will wreak havoc among humans. At this point, is acquiring the answers inside the Three Gates more important or preserving the stability of the world?

Ye Qing naturally inclined towards the latter, but he knew very well that things wouldn’t develop the way he hoped. With so many people desperate to enter the Three Gates, who would miss such an opportunity? Not to mention Ye Qing is closely related to Seven Steering Committees of Hong Alliance; if he attempts to stop them from contending for the Three Gates, they’ll undoubtedly be the first to oppose him. There’s no doubt about that. So, under such circumstances, not opening the Three Gates is impossible. As Guiguzi said, it’s fate, unchangeable. From his words, when Guiguzi left these inscriptions, he already knew the Three Gates would surely be opened. His foresight is truly the most astonishing aspect!

The inscriptions end here, with Ye Qing circling the stele, finding nothing. It means Guiguzi only left these words here without further content. People speculated that Guiguzi might leave the Taoist Sect’s most powerful secret manual in the Tomb of Guiguzi, but it seems impossible now. Though the strongest Taoist Secret Technique, Primal Mysterious Body, is indeed left here, it’s merely a power, not a manual. Moreover, not everyone can acquire this power; Ye Qing himself doesn’t know how he obtained it!

Finding no other inscriptions, Ye Qing read through Guiguzi’s words again. Upon reading the last section, Ye Qing suddenly grinned bitterly. According to Guiguzi’s words, he received the Primal Mysterious Body’s power, becoming the Dao’s heir, destined to quell the Calamity of Gods and save the masses. The problem is, despite receiving this power, he has no means to wield it; the power is utterly useless to him.

Although Guiguzi foresaw everything, he didn’t predict that the Primal Mysterious Body’s power would be obtained by someone like Ye Qing, a waste; hence, it’s a complete waste. Breaking the Calamity of Gods, saving the masses is simply impossible for Ye Qing. Guiguzi’s carefully devised plan ultimately turned futile. If Guiguzi were aware in the afterlife, he’d probably be furious enough to spit blood!

Ye Qing felt helpless, staring at the stele, doubting if he was dreaming. But reality told him it was all true, what he witnessed with his own eyes. Guiguzi laid so many traps, left such secrets, they shouldn’t be deceitful. Yet, with such circumstances, not just Ye Qing, anyone would have difficulty accepting it, right?

Standing there in silence for who knows how long, Ye Qing suddenly recalled something. The werewolf statue he previously saw, according to Guiguzi, is one of the God’s Servants. But the Church people recognized the God’s Servant and claimed it to be King Raph, a predecessor of the Church. So, does this God’s Servant have connections with the Church?

This thought made Ye Qing’s heart skip a beat. If true, could he trace the matter of the gods from the Church? And to understand the relationship between gods and humans, could some clues be found from the Church?

Ye Qing took a deep breath, always believing the conflict between the Church and Huaxia’s martial artists stemmed from differing doctrines. He thought the Church aimed to use their doctrine to control the world; that’s why they always attacked Huaxia. Now he realized it’s not as simple as he thought. The feud between the Church and Huaxia seems to be intimately connected to the gods Guiguzi mentioned.

Indeed, now Ye Qing understands why the Church also wants to seize the Three Gates of Heaven, Earth, and Human. It appears that the secrets hidden within the Three Gates are not only significant to Huaxia’s martial artists but also valuable to the gods and the Church. The Church tried all means to seize Huaxia’s Three Gates, likely for the Calamity of Gods Guiguzi mentioned.

”Church!” Ye Qing slowly repeated these two words. No wonder the Church members he encountered always clamored that the feud between the Church and Huaxia’s martial artists should come to an end. It seems everything ties back to the opening of the Heaven, Earth, and Man Three Gates amidst the Era of the Turmoil of the Three Stars of Sirius.

Thinking about the Era of the Turmoil of the Three Stars of Sirius, Ye Qing suddenly had a thought, again examining the last line on the stele.

When the TriStar arises, Star Force weakens!

Ye Qing previously couldn’t understand how the TriStar created chaos. Could the celestial stars genuinely influence earthly matters? Yet seeing the powers and identities of Seven Kills and Defeated Army now, they don’t seem capable of affecting the world’s circumstances, right? The chaos of the Three Stars, what is it exactly?

Seeing it now, Ye Qing suddenly understood something. The Killer Breaker Wolf TriStar refers not to these individuals altering the world’s situation but to the Star Force. As Star Force weakens, this suggests that the forces used during the battle to seal gods were derived from stars. When the Era of the Turmoil of the Three Stars of Sirius arrives, Star Force will diminish, allowing the gods to break the seal?

Though these are Ye Qing’s speculations, looking at Guiguzi’s inscriptions, this is all he can deduce. In other words, those truly corresponding to the Killer Breaker Wolf TriStar don’t influence the world’s situation. The actual factor changing the world is the Star Force?

But how is the Star Force utilized by people? Could it genuinely be like immortals, borrowing star power?

Thinking it over and over, Ye Qing still couldn’t comprehend this situation. Staring at that stele silently for a long time, he eventually sighed. Rather than standing there guessing, it’s better to push the stele and open the Gate of Life to leave here first. The shocking revelations on the stele can be studied later upon leaving. Besides, by watching the Church, perhaps some answers can be found.

Guiguzi’s inscriptions state clearly: only by absorbing the Primal Mysterious Body’s power can the stele be pushed open. Ye Qing has absorbed the Primal Mysterious Body, but he truly doesn’t know if he can push open the stele, since he can’t wield its power. Therefore, he can only try, placing his hands on the stele, slowly pushing it forward.

Initially, Ye Qing didn’t have high hopes for the matter. But when he pressed his hands against the stele, his internal Dao Force seemed to connect with the stele as if it rushed into his arms. And the stele, being infused with this Dao Force, began to slowly crack as if being shattered by Dao Force.

Ye Qing’s eyes widened. He never imagined such a thing could happen. He faintly sensed that something within the stele echoed with his internal Dao Force. Before Ye Qing could clarify the situation, the stele suddenly broke apart, releasing a streak of Qing Mang, like a green dragon, directly heading towards Ye Qing.
