Urban Martial Saint

Seeing the fallen Japan ninja on the ground, Ye Qing rushed over and reached out to help him up.

Just as he touched the ninja’s clothes, Ye Qing’s hands came into contact with a warm liquid, accompanied by a strong smell of blood that assaulted his nostrils. Looking closely, Ye Qing saw that the ninja’s clothes were soaked with blood, and blood was still dripping from the hem.

This situation made Ye Qing’s heart sink. The ninja was still lying in the Stone Corridor and hadn’t fully entered the Death Gate, yet he was already so injured, which showed just how terrifying the traps inside the Death Gate must be. Ye Qing didn’t even dare to imagine the current state of the others who had entered the Death Gate.

Dragging the ninja further into the Stone Corridor, Ye Qing didn’t have time to save him, placing him at the entrance before quickly rushing into the Death Gate.

As he reached the end of the Stone Corridor, Ye Qing slowed down his pace a bit, standing at the entrance to look inside. Beyond the Stone Corridor was a huge cave, but the entrance was too small, so Ye Qing couldn’t see the specific situation inside clearly. However, from his position, he could just make out several people lying sprawled at the entrance. Among them were members of the Church and Japan ninjas. But they were all lying on the ground, so Ye Qing couldn’t see who the Great Elder was.

Nonetheless, the situation was enough to shock Ye Qing. All these people were lying here, and the Great Elder was undoubtedly among them. Judging by the condition of the injured ninja in the Stone Corridor earlier, the traps inside were extremely dangerous. Now, whether these people in the cave are dead or alive is still unknown.

Taking a deep breath, Ye Qing shouted a few times at the entrance, ”Great Elder! Great Elder!”

However, after shouting, the few people lying on the ground inside the cave seemed as if they hadn’t heard anything, not reacting at all. This situation made Ye Qing even more anxious; none of them responded. Could they really all have perished?

Ye Qing couldn’t help but raise his head to look at the cave again. Although he couldn’t see the full view of the cave, Ye Qing noticed that there was nothing special around the people on the ground. There were no signs of traps visible at all. Moreover, from Ye Qing’s perspective, the state of injury on these people was similar to that of the ninja saved earlier, with their clothes soaked in blood, but without any visible wounds, leaving Ye Qing unable to guess what kind of traps were inside the cave.

However, according to Wen’er’s words, once these people entered the cave, they immediately screamed, indicating they were set upon by the cave. To know, these people were Peak Masters, and upon entering the cave, they didn’t even have a chance to evade the traps, showing the terrifying nature of the traps. If Ye Qing entered to rescue them, he would also not be able to evade those traps.

Standing at the entrance, Ye Qing took several deep breaths while looking at the people on the ground. Finally, gritting his teeth, he charged directly inside. He had no other choice; he had to go inside and rescue the Great Elder. If the Great Elder was still alive, Ye Qing could save Huangfu Ziyu. Despite not knowing the Great Elder’s fate, Ye Qing would not miss this one chance, as the matter concerned Huangfu Ziyu’s life and death!

Of course, Ye Qing wasn’t without some reliance. He had three forces within him from Buddhist and Taoist Magic. Earlier, even when attacked by the weapons of those giant men, Ye Qing wasn’t injured, indicating the strength of these three forces within him; they were more than enough to protect himself. If they could also resist the traps inside, Ye Qing wouldn’t have any danger going inside.

With this mindset, Ye Qing dashed into the cave. His target was clear: he went straight for the Japan ninjas, intending to rescue the Great Elder first.

But just as Ye Qing rushed into the cave, the three forces within him simultaneously boiled. It was as if they sensed some external pressure, and these three forces went berserk inside Ye Qing’s body. Especially the two forces of Buddha-Demon, which seemed to respond to some stimulus, persistently agitated inside Ye Qing. As for the Taoist Sect’s force, the feeling was very strange. Ye Qing vaguely felt that the Taoist Sect’s force, at that moment, became extremely joyous as if something happy was happening.

This situation shocked Ye Qing, but he didn’t have time to pay attention to the forces within him; his target was still the Great Elder. Just as he rushed to the side of several Japan ninjas, he quickly reached out to grab one ninja and flipped him over to see if he was the Great Elder.

After flipping three people, Ye Qing finally found the Great Elder, who now had his eyes tightly shut, blood continuously flowing from him, and his entire body was constantly contracting as if all the blood in his body had been drained, looking extremely terrifying.

Seeing the Great Elder in this state, Ye Qing was also greatly shocked and hurriedly grabbed him to take him out. But at this moment, the turmoil of the three forces within Ye Qing reached its peak. Moreover, at this instant, Ye Qing felt a massive pressure, as if covering the sky, pressing down on him.

Ye Qing had never felt like this before. The pressure felt like a ten-thousand-foot-tall mountain pressing down from above. This powerful pressure made Ye Qing unable to stand, directly pinning him to the ground. The pressure showed no sign of halting, crazily pressing down as if trying to flatten Ye Qing into a pancake. Furthermore, the pressure wasn’t just from above; strong forces from all directions rushed in, feeling like Ye Qing was in the deep sea, where the pressure from all sides was continuously compressing him, making it hard for him to bear.

In the deep sea, even a steel ship would be compressed into an iron ball, indicating the immense pressure of the deep sea. Ye Qing’s current situation was similar to this, with pressure from all around almost breaking his bones, his entire body in extreme compression, with strong force seemingly trying to crush Ye Qing alive.

At this moment, Ye Qing genuinely felt close to death. He finally understood why there were no visible wounds on those lying on the ground, yet so much blood was oozing from their bodies. It was the pressure that squeezed their blood out through their pores. This immense force was truly beyond frightening. Even though Ye Qing had previously used the Buddha’s Relic, its power wasn’t as terrifying as this pressure!

Moreover, what amazed Ye Qing the most was, there wasn’t a single person around, and this pressure came from nowhere. It felt like a gust of invisible force pressing him to the ground. Could this be the trap inside the Death Gate? If this was indeed such a trap, it truly was the Death Gate. Such a trap wouldn’t be evaded by anyone entering!

As Ye Qing laid on the ground, with his bones nearly being crushed, and approaching despair, the three forces within him continued to shift. The forces of Buddha-Demon reacted similarly, seemingly provoked by the pressure, constantly accumulating power as if preparing for something. Interestingly, the Taoist Sect’s force didn’t accumulate power; instead, it became more joyous amidst the pressure, showing no intention of resisting.

Being pressed down, Ye Qing was powerless to resist, yet fortunately, the three forces within him shielded his body, preventing injuries like those of the Church and Japan ninjas. During this moment, Ye Qing suddenly felt something. Although the forces of Buddha-Demon were accumulating power under pressure, the Taoist Sect’s force seemed to be gradually strengthening amidst the pressure.

Ye Qing’s forces of Buddha-Demon originated from the Buddha’s Relic and the Devouring Demon Flower. The former was the power left by Shakyamuni, and the latter was a flower born from within the Great Demon King Coffin, possessing the Great Demon King’s power - the origins and might of these two forces were naturally indisputable. As for the Taoist Sect’s force, Ye Qing attained it through self-cultivation of the Innate Nine Diagrams, while in fact, it also partially came from the Dao Force contained within Karmic Dao. Unlike the Buddha’s Power and Demon King’s Magic Power, the Dao Force was somewhat inferior.

Yet, under this pressure, the Dao Force within Ye Qing continuously strengthened. The initial strengthening was slow, but later on, its pace quickened significantly. Moreover, Ye Qing finally realized, it wasn’t the Dao Force strengthening but the pressure around him continuously entering his body and merging with the Dao Force, hence causing the strengthening!

”What’s going on?” Ye Qing instinctively exclaimed; this situation was too unexpected. Under such terrifying pressure, he thought he was doomed. Who would have thought that not only was he unharmed, but this pressure was also being absorbed by him, merging with his Dao Force, creating such a perplexing situation? What kind of power is this pressure that could be absorbed and fused with my Dao Force?

Before Ye Qing could figure out the matter, the pressure around had already reduced by about half, and Ye Qing could slowly stand up. The rate at which the Dao Force strengthened vastly exceeded Ye Qing’s expectations, and he could almost feel that the Dao Force could now stand toe-to-toe with the powers of Buddha-Demon!
