Urban Martial Saint

Ye Qing suppressed the anger in his heart, looked at the tall guy, and said, ”My name is Ye Qing, Ye Qing from Shenchuan City, have you heard of me?”

”Ye Qing from Shenchuan City?” The tall young man was slightly taken aback, then said, ”The one who suddenly rose to fame in Shenchuan City last year, could that be the legendary figure you’re talking about?”

Ye Qing took only a few months to crush all underground forces in Shenchuan City and integrate all the venues with Li Lianshan. In this turbulent, talent-emerging Shenchuan City, Ye Qing definitely counts as the number one legendary figure. Shenchuan City, even the entire Eastern Province, who doesn’t know his name? Who hasn’t heard of his deeds?

Ye Qing nodded, seeing that these few people knew of his reputation, he felt a bit more at ease. He gently coughed and said, ”That’s right, I’m the Ye Qing you mentioned!”

The few people here were suddenly stunned, staring at Ye Qing for a while, then burst into laughter together. Especially the tall young man, he laughed even more wantonly, clutching his stomach with one hand, while using his fist to hit the motorcycle beside him. After quite a while, they finally stopped, the tall young man pointed at Ye Qing and cursed: ”****** Never seen anyone bragging this much, this is the first time I met such a big bluffer. You’re Ye Qing? Why don’t you just say you’re the President of the United States?”

”Just look at you, claiming to be Ye Qing? You’re not insulting Ye Qing, you’re downright insulting our intelligence!”

”It’s beyond insulting our intelligence, he’s outright insulting us. If Ye Qing were like him, and still managed to be so badass in Shenchuan City, then us mixed up like this, wouldn’t it be horribly shameful?”

”Right, right, this bastard is basically finding ways to curse us. ******, a garbage picker, dares to curse at me, are you sick of living?”

Several young men yelled angrily and approached Ye Qing aggressively. From their posture, they were all prepared to beat Ye Qing up.

Ye Qing was stunned, he couldn’t understand why revealing his identity actually aggravated these people. He hadn’t yet had the chance to ask them to help make a call, but from the looks of it now, the rest of his words might be unnecessary.

”Enough!” Fortunately, the leading tall young man, Sulon, timely stopped his brothers, laughingly said, ”Arguing with a trash picker, don’t you feel embarrassed? Stop with the nonsense, grab the gas money and leave, there are several places below not taken, Hu is still waiting!”

Sulon’s words persuaded these people, Sulon walked directly up to Ye Qing, arrogantly looking down, ”Old guy, I don’t have time to listen to your crazy talk. Two hundred yuan, hand it over, then you’ll have a peaceful week. Can’t produce it, then get out!”

Ye Qing looked at Sulon, seriously said, ”Help me make a call; forget two hundred yuan, even two million or two hundred million, I could give you!”

Ye Qing spoke sincerely, two million really meant nothing to him now. However, in Sulon’s view, Ye Qing wasn’t just deceiving him, he was practically mocking him.

”Damn it!” Sulon suddenly kicked Ye Qing fiercely, cursed, ”I gave you face, didn’t I? Don’t want it, right? Mocking me? Can you really afford to mess with me?”

Receiving this kick, Ye Qing was also infuriated. However, he knew very well that falling out with these people now would be extremely dangerous, and he had no intention of risking his life here. So he chose silence, merely memorizing their appearances.

”What? Playing dead with me?” Sulon came over, stepped on Ye Qing, angrily said, ”Take out the money, if you want to die, I’ll fulfill your wish. Don’t pay, I’ll send you straight to see King Yanluo!”

While Sulon was loudly threatening Ye Qing, a sudden tense shout came from behind, it was the returning big boy and big girl. Seeing the scene, both children were visibly scared, hurriedly ran over.

The big girl hurriedly ran and held the little girl, fearfully checking if she was hurt. The big boy quickly ran before Sulon, knelt down, kowtowing and bowing repeatedly, clearly pleading Sulon to spare Ye Qing.

”Don’t use that sign language with me, I’m not mute!” Sulon lifted his foot, glanced at Ye Qing, and said to the big boy: ”Is this your relative? Hmph, just like you guys, all useless. Alright, I’m someone who is easy to talk to, I don’t care about your relationships but rules are rules. On my turf, you must pay the protection fee. Four of you together, that’s two hundred yuan!”

Sulon reached out to the big boy, who looked embarrassed and painstakingly took out all the money he had saved from his pocket. It was at this moment Ye Qing finally understood why the two of them usually never spent the money they earned from selling collected trash. Part of it was reserved for treating the little girl’s illness, while the other part was meant for these street racing gangs.

A cold glint flashed in Ye Qing’s eyes. In fact, he hadn’t dealt with such petty thugs for a long while, and he was reluctant to lay hands on people who didn’t know martial arts. But this time, he felt an unusual urge to kill even these who didn’t know martial arts!

If Corpse Ghost Dragon was ruthless, he merely regarded human lives as nothing, considering he’s a demon and shouldn’t be seen as human. But these street racing gangs were different. You say they disregard lives, yet they only dare to bully those weaker than themselves. Furthermore, faced with such pitiful three children, they not only showed no sympathy, but even forced them to hand over their meal money. This is worse than animals! For such people, Ye Qing hated them even more; if he could stand up now, he would definitely kill these guys without a second thought!

Seeing the money, Sulon was clearly a lot happier. He took the money handed by the big boy and cursed: ”******, every time it’s such small change, making me count for half a day, can’t you change it to whole bills?”

Though cursing, he cheerfully counted the money. After finishing counting, his face changed instantly, turned to the big boy, and slapped him hard across the face.

”What are you doing?” Ye Qing couldn’t help but yell angrily. Sulon acted without any warning, and the big boy was only eleven or twelve, just a child. Being slapped like this knocked him to the ground, blood even trickled from the corner of his mouth.

”Shut up, keep whining and I’ll kill you!” Sulon cursed at Ye Qing, then went over and stomped on the big boy’s head, yelling angrily: ”Are you ****ing stupid? How many times did I tell you? Fifty for one person, four people here, that’s two hundred. How much did you give me, huh? Even counting like before, with three people, that’s one hundred fifty. But you only gave me one hundred thirty-seven, not even enough for one hundred fifty, are you trying to mess with me?”

The big boy was shaking with fear, not daring to reply. The big girl, seeing the situation, quickly let go of the little girl and ran over, kneeling in front of Sulon, pleading with her head.

”Get lost!” Sulon kicked the big girl away, shouting angrily: ”Don’t use this crap with me, have the money, hand it over, no money, don’t blame me for being rude!”

It was at this moment Ye Qing finally understood why the big girl had argued with the big boy at noon; it was indeed because of the money problem. Now it all made sense, likely because the stray dog was injured, so the big boy used some money for bandages and meat for the dog. As a result, the remaining money wasn’t enough for one hundred fifty or to pay the street racing gang, leading to the dispute with the big girl. After lunch, they went out early, likely to collect trash to raise money. But after all, they were picking up trash, and of course, it was impossible to gather such an amount in such a short time.

”Friend, today we really have some trouble, so we couldn’t gather enough money.” Ye Qing reluctantly propped his body with his right arm and said: ”Plus, I just got here, don’t understand the rules, haven’t been here long. how about this, you take this money first. The remainder, consider it as us owing you. Give us three days, we’ll definitely make it up, interest included, how about that?”

Sulon turned to look at Ye Qing, slightly frowned, and said: ”Whoa, old guy, you sure know a lot huh? Even know about interest, hahahaha. You trash eaters dare talk interest with me? Can’t even gather fifty yuan in a week per person, and want to owe me? Do you think I’m an idiot? Brushing me off today, then running away immediately so I can’t find you, right? Damn, I’m telling you, if you don’t collect the money today, I’ll chop your fingers to pay the debt!”

The few brothers immediately burst into laughter: ”Yes, yes, yes, chop off their fingers, at least worth ten yuan each!”

”I want the little girl’s fingers, twenty each!” even a girl shouted, these people, completely disregarded these children as human.

Sulon got excited too, he pulled out a dagger from himself, laughed slowly, and said: ”Alright, seems everyone’s in high spirits huh. Let’s have an auction, say what you want now, I’ll take it off for you immediately!”

Seeing the dagger, the three children were even more startled, the big boy and big girl continuously begged, but this had no effect at all. These street racing gangs excitedly gathered around, clamoring for Sulon to chop off their fingers.

”Friend, don’t be too ruthless!” Ye Qing said in a deep voice: ”After all, they are human, there’s no need to hurt others for tens of yuan, right?”
