Urban Martial Saint

Huangfu Ziyu had not expected Shen Qianyue to choose this path, and was slightly taken aback. She hurried to the window, only to see Shen Qianyue had already jumped into the next window. He was also holding a long rope; it looked like, after jumping out, he used the rope to latch onto the other window to make his entrance.

Huangfu Ziyu was about to give chase when she suddenly heard an angry shout from a woman in that room, followed by the sounds of fighting. However, the noise did not last long; it seemed Shen Qianyue had already made his escape.

On hearing that sound, Huangfu Ziyu let out a small smile and didn’t pursue any further. Instead, she returned to her room, selected a whole sofa to sit down leisurely on, and began to hum a Kunqu opera tune.

It was Shen Qianyue’s bad luck when he jumped into the room next door, he actually witnessed a woman committing murder. Although not as beautiful as Huangfu Ziyu, this woman was also quite attractive and had an eye-catching fire-red Fire Butterfly tattoo on her right chest.

This woman was none other than Xikou Fire Butterfly, the sister of White Horse Chen San, Chen Si.

Shen Qianyue was also aware of the situation in Shenchuan City, and seeing the Fire Butterfly, he immediately guessed the identity of this woman. There were six people lying on the floor, one of whom had their head chopped off, held in the hand of a girl; the scene was quite horrifying. However, the other few women in the room seemed completely unbothered by the scene, as if they were in an amusement park.

Realizing his room choice was a mistake, Shen Qianyue nevertheless had to enter. As soon as he landed, a girl aimed a kick at him.

With Shen Qianyue’s exceptional skills, just as he landed, he caught the girl’s foot and tossed her aside effortlessly.

Seeing what happened, Fire Butterfly frowned, grabbed a nearby coffee table, and smashed it towards Shen Qianyue.

Shen Qianyue, neither dodging nor avoiding, clenched his fists and slammed them heavily onto the coffee table, shattering it to pieces.

Fire Butterfly’s expression changed slightly. She stood up and started fighting Shen Qianyue, but failed to gain any advantage. However, Shen Qianyue didn’t gain much upper hand either. He just pushed Fire Butterfly back and hurriedly ran towards the door without lingering for further combat.

”Where are you going!” A woman’s delicate shout was heard as she tried to follow, but Fire Butterfly stopped her.

”Don’t chase!” Fire Butterfly furrowed her brows and said sternly, ”He didn’t come for us. He is a master; catching up to him doesn’t guarantee we could keep him!”

The woman immediately returned to the room, looked at Fire Butterfly, and asked, ”Big sister, what do we do next?”

”Continue!” Fire Butterfly commanded coldly, ”How many names are left on the list?”

A girl pulled out the list, took a glance, and said, ”Two more people.”

”Let’s go!” Fire Butterfly decisively led everyone away, leaving behind the corpses, one of which was headless, with a death manner identical to that of Xu Yingshi.

Once outside, Shen Qianyue immediately ran back to his own room. However, upon arrival, he found the area outside his room swarming with people. His face changing, he knew something was amiss and rushed into the room, only to see bloodstains everywhere, which made his face turn again.

”What happened?” Shen Qianyue grabbed a man nearby and asked in a deep voice.

”I... I don’t know either. It was like this when we got here...” the man replied with a trembling voice.

Shen Qianyue urged, ”What about the girl? Where did she go?”

”You must be Mr. Shen!” At that moment, a tall man approached. It was Black Bear.

”Yes, I am. What exactly happened in this room? Where is the girl?” Shen Qianyue pressed on urgently.

Black Bear said, ”We’re not quite sure about this matter. But your younger brother just came to, you might want to ask him!”

”My brother?” Shen Qianyue’s expression shifted as he asked, ”Qianyue? You’re saying Qianyue is still here? Where is he? Take me to him!”

Black Bear took Shen Qianyue into an adjacent room, where Shen Baichuan was lying on a couch, looking somewhat weak. Seeing Shen Qianyue, Shen Baichuan immediately showed a face full of grievance and said, ”Big brother...”

Shen Qianyue hurried over, examined Shen Baichuan’s condition, and asked anxiously, ”What happened? Where is Qingyi? Where did Qingyi go?”

”Big brother, Qingyi... Qingyi has been taken away...” Shen Baichuan said indignantly, ”The bodyguards sent by our family were also killed by that person. I tried to fight him, but he knocked me out directly. I couldn’t protect Ms. Qingyi at all!”

Shen Qianyue was shocked. The bodyguards sent by the family were not weak, and yet they were killed, indicating how formidable the assailant must be.

”Who exactly is that person?” Shen Qianyue asked gravely.

”I don’t know either,” said Shen Baichuan. ”I remember he was a man in his thirties, cradling a wooden box about two meters long. Inside the box was a long blade, colored ink-black with gold patterns carved into it, which looked very strange...”

”The Ink Pattern Black Gold Blade?” Shen Qianyue’s complexion changed drastically, and she exclaimed, ”How has this blade reappeared?”

”What exactly is this blade?” asked Shen Baichuan incredulously. ”The Ink Pattern Black Gold Blade? How come I’ve never heard of it? How does it compare to our family’s Long Hate Blade in terms of strength?”

Shen Baichuan was also egotistical. Even at a time like this, he was still comparing such things instead of being truly concerned about Shen Qingyi, who had been kidnapped.

Shen Qianyue didn’t have time to bother with him and stood up urgently, running to the door to ask Black Bear urgently, ”My friend, did the teahouses from Shenchuan City also come to extend their congratulations tonight?”

”Yes,” Black Bear nodded and replied.

”Just as I thought!” Shen Qianyue’s face turned icy as she muttered to herself, ”So they were prepared all along. Junior sister, you led me here to delay me! How could I be so foolish to fall for such a trap?”

Black Bear said, ”Mr. Shen, you needn’t worry too much. My elder brother has already given chase. I believe that Miss Shen will definitely be safe!”

”Hmph, what use is your big brother? Do you have any idea how strong the person who kidnapped my sister Qingyi is? Unless my elder brother goes, no one else could possibly defeat him!” Shen Baichuan shouted loudly.

Black Bear was immediately irritated and said, ”If your elder brother is so powerful, then let him go after her. I’ll call my elder brother right now and tell him to come back, so no one thinks we’re nosily poking our noses into affairs like dogs chasing mice!”

”You...” Shen Baichuan was suddenly frustrated. Shen Qingyi had been kidnapped for half an hour already. If Ye Qing was still following, then the hope for rescue relied on Ye Qing. Asking Shen Qianyue to give chase now would be too late.

Shen Qianyue looked at Black Bear and said, ”My friend, could you please take me to that room in the teahouse?”

Black Bear curled his lip and said, ”Mr. Shen, I advise you to chase after your miss quickly. With my elder brother’s little ability, I’m afraid he won’t be able to rescue your miss. It’s not worth risking his life!”

Shen Baichuan bristled with fury and said, ”Damn it, when someone offers you face, you should take it! Who the hell are you to mumble when my elder brother asks you to lead him to the people from the teahouse?”

”Baichuan, shut your mouth!” Shen Qianyue shouted angrily, startling Shen Baichuan, who had never seen Shen Qianyue so furious. He immediately fell silent, too scared to speak further.

”My apologies!” Shen Qianyue addressed Black Bear politely.

”Mr. Shen, I’m giving you face here. If it were your brother, I wouldn’t give a damn!” Black Bear glanced at Shen Baichuan and said, ”With his attitude, I kind of regret saving him just now. Should have just thrown him next door!”

Seething with rage, Shen Baichuan nonetheless didn’t dare to speak again, fearful of provoking Shen Qianyue’s anger.

Shen Qianyue simply bowed slightly, looking at Black Bear with polite deference. His humble posture earned Black Bear’s appreciation, who hesitated no more, leading him up the stairs to the room where everyone from the teahouse was gathered.

”This is the place!” Black Bear pointed at the room and added, ”Oh, I forgot to tell you, Elder Senior Tie Yongwen is also inside the room!”

”Old Master Tie is also here?” Shen Qianyue paused for a moment, but after a slight hesitation, he still knocked on the door.

Soon the door opened, and Shen Qianyue entered the room to find Tie Yongwen and the Ghost-faced Judge sitting opposite each other. Throughout the room, disciples of Tie Yongwen and the people from the teahouse were standing on either side.

Black Bear peeked into the room and suddenly exclaimed, ”Wow, are they demolishing the place?”

The room indeed looked as if it had been torn apart; the floorboards were nearly all broken, and all the furnishings were destroyed. Wooden tables and chairs were on the verge of turning to dust, and glass fragments littered the floor. Not a single floor tile remained intact. Even the cement floor underneath had clearly been crushed, and one could vaguely see the cement debris on the ground.

The most astonishing feature was the series of footprints on the broken floor, indicating that the holes had been made by someone stomping with their feet. This shocked Black Bear immensely – martial artists shattering a floor tile with a kick was normal, but leaving footprints in the flooring was simply inconceivable.

Yet, it had indeed happened. Black Bear was so astonished that his eyes bulged and his mouth hung open, unable to close.

Shen Qianyue too was tremendously shocked upon seeing this. As a martial arts expert himself, he understood the significance of the footprints on the floor. He glanced at Tie Yongwen and felt an even greater shock at the senior’s power.

”Senior Tie!” Shen Qianyue greeted Tie Yongwen with a bow, walking straight into the room, and addressing the Ghost-faced Judge, he said, ”Mr. Cui, could I bother you with a question?”

”If you’re looking for someone from the Shen family, I have no answers for you here,” replied the Ghost-faced Judge curtly. ”I’ve been in this room the whole time – Mr. Tie can vouch for that. I haven’t taken a single phone call!”
