Urban Martial Saint

The girl looked to be in her twenties, delicate and gentle in appearance, somewhat out of place in this setting.

The group of men behind her had come looking for trouble, and now that they saw such a girl, they were even more unrestrained.

”Little girl, you know this is bothering us. If you want us to step aside, that’s fine, but first keep us company for a bit!” a man said with a sleazy laugh.

”That’s right, asking for help comes at a price. Look, little girl, we don’t have many people here, just around a hundred. If you can’t handle it alone, just call out your sisters from the car, let’s all have some fun together!” another man said, laughing and teasing.

The crowd behind them burst into uproarious laughter, but Xu Yingshi stood in front of Li Lianshan and Ye Qing, chuckling coldly as if he hadn’t heard anything.

”Who is this? Why send a girl out to speak!” Li Lianshan couldn’t help but say in a low voice.

Ye Qing furrowed his brows; he had seen the girl before. She was one of the girls who had accompanied Xikou Fire Butterfly when she arrived in Shenchuan City. If she was the one who came out, it was almost certain that Xikou Fire Butterfly was in the car.

Ye Qing had sent an invitation to Fire Butterfly, but he had little hope that she would come. Unexpectedly, Fire Butterfly had indeed come, and her timing was quite coincidental.

It happened that she arrived right when these two gangs from another province were causing a scene at the entrance, and she got stuck outside.

Meanwhile, in a private room upstairs, Shangguan Tian and Li Wenyuan were also standing by the window, watching the chaos unfold below with cold smiles on their faces. They hadn’t planned to cause trouble tonight, just to watch the drama unfold. They had already received news that several gangs from other provinces would be causing trouble here, so they wouldn’t have to lift a finger.

In fact, those gangs from other provinces were also aware that Tianqing Gang and Fu Bang wouldn’t assist Ye Qing, which emboldened them to stir up trouble. After all, Ye Qing was not yet a significant threat with his current power, and with just him and Li Lianshan, these gangs were not at all scared.

Pi Junchao felt the same way, seeing the situation at the entrance, he too smirked secretly. If he could sabotage the opening ceremony tonight, then he still had a chance to take back the Southern Suburbs Dogfight Arena.

Although he thought this way, he was glaring at Shangguan Tian and Li Wenyuan more than anything. Ever since they entered the room, they had been belittling him with their words. Currently, he considered himself one of the strongest in Fierce Tiger Gang, albeit not as strong as Tianqing Gang or Fu Bang. However, being insulted like this was quite upsetting. Honestly, his resentment towards Shangguan Tian and Li Wenyuan even surpassed that towards Ye Qing. He wished he could kill them with his own hands.

At the entrance of the Dog Field, Ye Qing became worried when he realized who was arriving. Fire Butterfly Chen Si was known for her fiery temper and vengeful nature. The way Xu Yingshi and Chen Tian’s men were insulting the girl was sure to infuriate Fire Butterfly. With her temper, a fight could very well break out on the spot. If a fight did break out, it would be troublesome. Fire Butterfly was strong, but facing over a hundred men from Xu Yingshi and Chen Tian, they would undoubtedly be at a disadvantage.

Then, Ye Qing wondered if he should help. If he didn’t, he couldn’t just stand by and watch Fire Butterfly get hurt. But if he did help, even with Li Lianshan’s men, they only had three to four hundred men. Even if they had the upper hand in numbers, a real fight would likely lead to many injuries. Moreover, more troublemakers were expected tonight. If they lost many men now, what would they do if other troublemakers showed up later?

”Young Master Xu, since we are all here to congratulate, why bother with a girl?” Ye Qing clasped his hands towards Xu Yingshi, saying, ”Can you ask your brothers to come in and sit down first? We’ve already prepared the feast. Everyone has traveled a long way and must be tired. Let them rest a bit inside first!”

”Ye Zi!” Li Lianshan quietly pulled on Ye Qing and whispered, ”You can’t let these bastards in. They are clearly here to cause trouble. If so many people go inside at once, who knows what might happen. Not to mention anything else, if they end up beating up our waitstaff, where would we find others on such short notice!”

Ye Qing also worried about this, but there was no way to resolve it as the other party came with hostile intentions. Moreover, if they didn’t let them in, they would continue blocking the entrance, and the opening night would be ruined.

Actually, when gangs from other provinces caused trouble in Shenchuan City, they typically didn’t have the upper hand. In the past, local gangs and powers in Shenchuan City would have banded together to drive these people out. However, with Ye Qing’s sudden rise as a new power in Shenchuan City and his acquisition of the lucrative Southern Suburbs Dogfight Arena previously under Tiger King, most people in Shenchuan City were envious. Even Tianqing Gang and Fu Bang wanted to use the power of these external gangs to eliminate Ye Qing, so who would help them now?

The other provinces’ gangs saw this opportunity to plant their flags in Shenchuan City. If they could take over the Southern Suburbs Dogfight Arena, that would be even better. Under these circumstances, with local powers in Shenchuan waiting to benefit from the fight, and external gangs working together aiming to break in, Ye Qing and Li Lianshan were really caught between a rock and a hard place. Whether they could survive this night would determine what heights Ye Qing could reach in Shenchuan City!

Hearing Ye Qing’s words, Xu Yingshi chuckled, saying, ”Mr. Ye, no need to rush. Everyone is having such a good time. It’s just a little joke with the sister - no need to take it so seriously. Besides, the Southern Suburbs Dogfight Arena is your territory, but the area just outside the Dog Field isn’t, right? My brothers just standing out here for a bit shouldn’t be a problem, right? Is this how people in Shenchuan City always act so domineering?”

”Standing outside is certainly fine, but you can’t block the road and stop others from coming in,” Li Lianshan said dissatisfiedly.

Xu Yingshi laughed, ”Oh, it’s also our first time coming to Shenchuan City. We’re a bit curious and unrestrained, which is normal. Li, don’t be mad. Once their curiosity fades, they will clear the road, hehehe...”

”You...” Li Lianshan was about to get angry, and Ye Qing also clenched her fists, hesitating whether to take Xu Yingshi down first, when suddenly the car door at the entrance swung open.

”Yan Zi!” A cold female voice came from inside the car; Ye Qing heard it distinctly—it was indeed Chen Si’s voice.

Ye Qing’s heart skipped a beat. Knowing Chen Si’s temper, she must have been furious after such a long time. Could it be that she was about to make a move?

Ye Qing signaled Li Lianshan with her eyes to quickly call people over. If Chen Si really was going to make a move, Ye Qing had to back her up. Even if it meant a mutually destructive fight with these people tonight, Ye Qing couldn’t let Chen Si suffer a loss.

Li Lianshan was already annoyed, he gestured with his hand, summoning his underlings to call for reinforcements.

Meanwhile, the girl standing outside the car, upon hearing Chen Si’s voice, hurried to the vehicle’s side. Whatever Chen Si told her wasn’t clear, but the girl immediately returned to the car. Then Chen Si’s motorcade moved, the large SUV directly took the lead, with the other four vehicles following behind it.

”Are they preparing to leave?” Xu Yingshi casually watched the five vehicles, especially after seeing a woman sitting inside, he underestimated these people even more.

Upstairs, Shangguan Tian and Li Wenyuan also spotted the woman in the car. The two exchanged glances, their expressions changing slightly.

Not many women made their mark in the underworld, but the Eastern Province just happened to have two exceptional figures. East State Poisonous Mantis and Xikou Fire Butterfly—these names were nightmares for everyone in the underworld.

How Tiger King died still haunted both Shangguan Tian and Li Wenyuan. The Poisonous Mantis entering Shenchuan City with just one vehicle and killing Tiger King on his own turf at the Southern Suburbs Dogfight Arena had once again mythologized the name of the Poisonous Mantis.

Although Fire Butterfly wasn’t as legendary as the Poisonous Mantis, still, being a woman comparable to the Poisonous Mantis, how could she be simple?

Both knew that this woman in the car was either the Poisonous Mantis or the Fire Butterfly. Nevertheless, no matter who it was, Xu Yingshi and Chen Tian were provoking her, and this was indeed a death-seeking move!

”What is she going to do?” Upon seeing the five vehicles returning to the road, Li Wenyuan couldn’t help but ask in a deep voice.

Shangguan Tian stared at the five vehicles, his face suddenly changed dramatically, he urgently said, ”Are they going to charge in?”

As soon as Shangguan Tian’s words fell, the SUV in the front moved. Its massive power let out a roar like that of a wild beast and, with its huge body and abundant power, it charged out like a rampant beast.

Over there, Xu Yingshi and others were still smugly watching from outside when they suddenly saw the SUV charging toward them, and everyone immediately felt something was wrong.

”What’s happening? What’s happening? What’s happening?” Xu Yingshi, who had just been arrogantly overconfident, stared in shock as the SUV charged to the entrance and didn’t show any signs of stopping, directly plowing through the crowd.

The ones blocking the entrance were Xu Yingshi’s underlings, who had never expected these women to act so insanely. As the SUV charged into the crowd, it immediately plowed a bloody path through, with the other four cars following suit.

Xu Yingshi’s underlings lost their previous swagger as those crushed by the vehicles screamed and cried for their fathers and mothers. Those lucky enough to not be hit, not daring to stay put, ran desperately to the sides, not daring to stand in the middle of the road again.

Xu Yingshi stood in place, watching his group of underlings screaming and running for their lives—he was more anxious than anyone, as these were all his men.

”Run, run. Damn it, you damn bitch, how dare you hit my brothers, I’ll take your life in a bit!” Xu Yingshi shouted loudly for his brothers to run, while furiously cursing at the Fire Butterfly in the car.
