Urban Martial Saint

”Little girl?” Ye Qing was surprised and said, ”A girl came?”

He had always thought that the person coming was the domineering young man who had been following Lin Huayu. To be honest, if it were really that domineering young man, Ye Qing felt that Tie Yongwen had made too much of a fuss by personally receiving him. Unexpectedly, it turned out to be a girl, and she was Shen Tianjun’s granddaughter. From what the tall one said, this girl had quite a status in the Xihang Shen Family!

”Of course,” the tall one said. ”In the younger generation of the Xihang Shen Family, apart from this beloved little girl, who else could make the master personally receive them!”

Ye Qing nodded then fell silent. He did not have a good impression of the Xihang Shen Family, and as for matters like the little girl, he did not pay much attention to them either, as he didn’t want any involvement with the people of the Xihang Shen Family.

After chatting idly with the tall one for over an hour, the people from the Xihang Shen Family finally left. Tie Yongwen saw them off, and Gao Shusen then came straight over and called Ye Qing to meet Tie Yongwen.

Entering the living room, he saw from afar Tie Yongwen sitting in the main seat, his face still wearing a faint smile. It seemed that he had a rather pleasant chat with the people from the Xihang Shen Family. It was likely that even the domineering young man from the Xihang Shen Family wouldn’t dare show any disrespect in front of Tie Yongwen. After all, Tie Yongwen was a figure from the same generation as Shen Tianjun!

”Uncle Tie!” Ye Qing walked into the living room and first paid his respects to Tie Yongwen. For martial artists like them, these formalities were of utmost importance, especially for someone as somewhat stubborn as Tie Yongwen.

Seeing Ye Qing, Tie Yongwen was overjoyed and quickly waved for Ye Qing to come sit beside him.

”How is it, have you settled the matters at home?” Tie Yongwen asked with concern.

Ye Qing said, ”Thank you for your concern, Uncle Tie. The family matters have all been dealt with. I also have to thank Elder Master Ding for that phone call; if it weren’t for Elder Master Ding’s influence, things might not have gone so smoothly!”

Tie Yongwen laughed and said, ”I’ve heard about it. That Hong Tianxiang deserved his fate. Throughout his life, Elder Master Ding has hated corrupt officials the most. You managing to bring him down actually made Elder Master Ding very happy, he kept praising you for doing a good job.”

Ye Qing smiled and said, ”Elder Master Ding despises evil, those corrupt officials just had bad luck meeting a friend of his, they got what they deserved!”

Tie Yongwen chatted with Ye Qing briefly about his family’s situation, then he asked about Third Master Li. Ye Qing had returned and even made time to pay respects to Third Master Li. Tie Yongwen also wanted to pay respects to Third Master Li, but he couldn’t find the time now, so it had to be postponed.

”Speaking of which, now that you’re back, I have a gift for you!” Tie Yongwen finished speaking and turned his head to Gao Shusen, saying, ”Bring him out!”

Ye Qing was astonished. Tie Yongwen mentioned a gift, but it sounded more like he was talking about a person?

Gao Shusen walked into the inner room, and before long, indeed brought a person out.

Ye Qing glanced at him, his expression changing instantly. This person was none other than Young Master Fang!

After the last incident was exposed, Young Master Fang’s mother had taken him and fled Shenchuan City. Ye Qing didn’t know where to find him, and how to exact revenge for Wang Tiezhu was still unknown. At the time, the people involved in the incident, Ding Shaoyan had his meridians destroyed and the others were also severely injured, but the chief culprit, Young Master Fang had gotten off scot-free, which infuriated Ye Qing greatly.

Unexpectedly, Tie Yongwen had incredible means to capture him and bring him back.

Seeing Ye Qing, Young Master Fang immediately trembled in fear, his lips quivering relentlessly.

However, Ye Qing’s face was filled with coldness as he sized him up and said, ”Young Master Fang, long time no see!”

Young Master Fang opened his mouth but was too frightened to utter a word; he was nearly scared out of his wits.

Observing his cowardly demeanor, Ye Qing no longer paid him any mind and turned to Tie Yongwen, curiously asking, ”Uncle Tie, I heard he had left Shenchuan City. How did you manage to capture him?”

Tie Yongwen smiled faintly and said, ”I wasn’t the one who captured him.”

”Not you?” Ye Qing was astonished and said, ”Then who was it?”

”Hehe…” Tie Yongwen chuckled and said, ”If I’m not mistaken, it must be that girl from East State!”

”That girl from East State?” Ye Qing was startled for a moment but quickly realized that Tie Yongwen was actually referring to the East State Poisonous Mantis.

Ye Qing couldn’t help but feel embarrassed. The East State Poisonous Mantis made many people in the Eastern Province shudder at the mere mention of her name. Yet in Tie Yongwen’s mouth, she had simply become ’that girl.’ What a disparity! Looking across the entire Eastern Province, probably only Tie Yongwen could speak of her like this!

”Just a few mornings ago, when our martial arts school had just opened, we saw this guy’s car parked at the entrance. He was tied up tight and thrown in the car, and Shusen brought him back,” Tie Yongwen explained. ”That girl may have a strange temper, but in the Eastern Province, she still has her ways. Fang Tian and his group had already passed through several cities, yet who else but her could have captured Fang Tian and nicely left him at my doorstep?”

Ye Qing couldn’t help but smile; Old Master Tie’s words were quite humorous. However, it was clear that Old Master Tie must have met Huangfu Ziyu before. Additionally, if Ye Qing was not mistaken, Huangfu Ziyu was a disciple of the Southern Fist King Shen Tianjun, and Old Master Tie had a good relationship with Shen Tianjun back in the day. That made Huangfu Ziyu a junior in relation to Old Master Tie. Old Master Tie addressing her in such a manner was perfectly normal.

Ye Qing sighed and said, ”I hadn’t expected Miss Huangfu to be involved in this matter as well. Ah, now, I can at least provide an explanation to Wang Tiezhu. But it’s sad that Wang Tiezhu’s sister may never wake up in this lifetime!”

Old Master Tie also sighed and said, ”These young rascals, committing all sorts of evil deeds, are truly despicable. Ye Qing, I leave this Fang Tian to you. However you wish to seek revenge, it’s up to you. Don’t worry about the Fang Family. Whatever happens, I’ve got your back!”

”Old Master, please no…” Upon hearing these words, Fang Tian fell to his knees with a thud, trembling as he said, ”Old Master, I… I know my faults, please spare my life. I… I can compensate with money, any amount, just let me go…”

Old Master Tie gave him a glance and coldly said, ”Do you think I am in need of money?”

”I… I’ll compensate Wang Tiezhu, I will pay him whatever amount he needs,” Fang Tian said frantically. ”He… he’s just a poor man, he will surely agree, I can pay whatever amount needed…”

”A poor man?” Ye Qing’s expression grew cold as he said, ”So what if he is poor? Wang Tiezhu may be poor, but he has his pride. Yet here you are, supposedly so rich, now kneeling before me. Haha, now that’s truly laughable!”

Fang Tian’s face turned red with shame. He really did not want to be kneeling in front of Ye Qing. But being detained by Tie Yongwen these past few days, he was truly frightened. In Shenchuan City, to think that Tie Yongwen would dare detain him, it showed they really did not regard the Fang Family at all. He could only rely on the name of the Fang Family to swindle outside; now that people no longer regarded the Fang Family, he had no choice but to kneel and beg for mercy!

”Killing me won’t solve anything!” Fang Tian said. ”I... I can compensate Wang Tiezhu with a lot of money. His sister is already in that condition, killing me won’t restore her. I can pay him money to ensure he lives comfortably in the future. Also, the money for his sister’s hospital bills, I can settle it all at once, what do you think…”

Ye Qing stood up, walked over to Fang Tian. Fang Tian looked up at Ye Qing, hoping his words had persuaded him.

Ye Qing bent down, stared at Fang Tian for a while, then suddenly slapped him across the face.

Fang Tian, his face bleeding from nose and mouth, fell to the ground and covered his face in shock as he said, ”Why did you hit me?”

”I didn’t want to hit you, but what you said was too disgusting!” Ye Qing looked coldly at Fang Tian and said, ”Let me make it clear to you, human life cannot be measured with money. No matter how much money you have, to Wang Tiezhu, it’s less important than his sister waking up. So, don’t ever bring up your money as a measure for human life again or mention your wealth in front of me. Otherwise, I will break your leg first!”

Fang Tian shivered in fright and hurriedly shut his mouth. Tie Yongwen laughed and said, ”Well said, well said! That’s exactly how it should be, all this talk about money is just annoying. Shusen, take him down, tie him up securely. When Ye Qing leaves, let him take him along!”

”Yes!” Gao Shusen agreed, and came over to take Fang Tian down.

”Ye Qing, since you are here today, there is another matter I need to discuss with you,” Tie Yongwen said as he looked at Ye Qing with a serious expression. ”You might have heard that the people who visited me just now are from the Xihang Shen Family. I heard from them that the daughter of the Xihang Shen Family plans to reside in Shenchuan City for a while. Honestly, this is somewhat out of character for the Xihang Shen Family, and I suspect their visit to Shenchuan City has another motive!”

”What purpose?” Ye Qing wondered. What puzzled him more was why Tie Yongwen would tell him this. The Xihang Shen Family’s affairs really had nothing to do with Ye Qing.

Tie Yongwen sighed and said, ”Because of the battle between the Kings of North-South Boxing, the Xihang Shen Family has harbored a deep grudge against the descendant of Li San from the Li Family Baji Quan since twenty years ago. You are still Li San’s closed-door disciple. If the Xihang Shen Family finds out about your existence, I’m afraid they won’t let you off easily!”

Ye Qing frowned, recalling his previous encounter with that overbearing young man from the Xihang Shen Family. Even without the identity as Li San’s disciple, given the nature of the Xihang Shen Family, future encounters would likely lead to friction. Tie Yongwen’s warning seemed to indicate his fear of conflict arising between Ye Qing and the Xihang Shen Family. Realizing that the Xihang Shen Family knew of his lineage as Li Changqing’s disciple could mean that even Tie Yongwen might not be able to protect Ye Qing!
