King of the Wilderness

Chapter 576: Chapter 294: The New Master of Giant Stone River Heritage Farm! (Part 4)

Opposite them sat the seller’s full legal representative, also a top lawyer from Houston, Texas.

Real estate agent Arthur Vanderbilt, and the chief transfer officer from the First American Property Company, served as neutrals, presiding over this closing ceremony.

On the massive mahogany table, there was a mountain of legal documents that both teams of lawyers repeatedly reviewed.

After a prolonged tug-of-war lasting several hours between David Chen and the opposing lawyer, an agreement on the final transaction price was finally reached last night.

Two hundred twenty million US dollars.

This price marked a complete reduction of fifteen million dollars from the initial listing price of 235 million, a miraculous discount secured by Matty’s team during their extreme pressure tactics in due diligence discoveries.

After confirming the final document, David Chen turned around and confidently nodded towards Lin Yu’an, who was leisurely holding his child and enjoying the scenery on the terrace.

Lin Yu’an saw his signal, smiled, nodded back, and continued to feed a small piece of biscuit to his daughter sitting on his lap, waving her arms excitedly.

In the study, after receiving Lin Yu’an’s final authorization, David Chen picked up the Montblanc pen.

On the thick transfer document representing the ownership of a ”Kingdom,” he signed his name as the authorized agent.

With his final stroke, the chief officer of the property company immediately stepped forward to store the document safely.

Instead of announcing ”The funds are released” like in the movies, he turned to his laptop, put on headphones, and connected to the encrypted video line with the escrow bank.

On screen, a bank senior manager was equally prepared. The two matched the document codes on the screen for the final verbal verification.

”Authorization code Alpha-Zulu-7-9, confirmed.”

”Authorization code confirmed. Escrow fund status: cleared, can be released.” The bank manager’s voice came through the headphones.

The entire process was silent and swift, yet more tension-filled than any noisy countdown.

This enormous sum of two hundred twenty million dollars had quietly rested in the escrow account since yesterday, awaiting this final instruction.

Ending the call, the transfer officer removed the headphones, displaying a relieved smile.

He stood up, cleared his throat, and solemnly announced this historic moment to all the agents present.

”Ladies and gentlemen. I have received final confirmation from the escrow bank that the total purchase price of two hundred twenty million dollars from the buyer was cleared yesterday and safely deposited into the third-party escrow account. All conditions for closing have been met.”

”I hereby declare that the property transfer of Giant Stone River Heritage Ranch is officially complete! I will immediately authorize the transfer of funds from the escrow account to the seller. The new land deed will be delivered to the Park County government for registration and filing within an hour.”

The transaction is complete.

In the next moment, the room erupted in enthusiastic applause!

David Chen excitedly embraced the accountant representative beside him. Arthur Vanderbilt, this top agent accustomed to grand occasions, also clapped vigorously.

On the terrace, Arthur Vanderbilt quickly walked over with a freshly opened bottle of Champagne King and several crystal glasses.

”Congratulations, Mr. Lin.” His voice was filled with genuine admiration, ”Welcome to your Kingdom.”

Lin Yu’an stood up, took the champagne, and poured a glass for himself, Aliya, and Emily.

The three raised their glasses together, looking out at the golden sunset-blessed majestic kingdom that truly belonged to their home, filled with unprecedented grandeur and peace.

Aliya leaned on Lin Yu’an’s shoulder and softly said, ”Dear, we... we really own all of this. It feels like a dream.”

”This is not a dream, Liya.” Lin Yu’an looked at the sapphire-like ice-sealed lake in the distance, his voice brimming with limitless anticipation for the future, ”This is the beginning of our new life.”

He put down the glass, and two furry figures flashed in his mind. He slowly spoke.

”At the same time, it’s also theirs.”

He stretched out his hand, pointing to the vast area connected to Mirror Lake, flat terrain backed by mountains.

”Look over there.”

Aliya and Emily followed his direction.

Lin Yu’an’s voice was filled with determination: ”Soon, on that land, the world’s most unique Arctic Home will rise.”

”Our December, and its new brother Amber, will grow up there, never experiencing any separation or abandonment.”

”There will be their forever home.”

Aliya and Emily exchanged a smile, seeing the same happy anticipation in each other’s eyes.
