King of the Wilderness

Chapter 555: Chapter 288: Arctic Kingdom Concept

”This sensation is extremely painful but does not cause substantial harm to the animals.”

”Any large animal, including bears, after experiencing it once or twice, will develop an instinctual fear and learn to stay far away from it.”

”And the innermost layer will be a visual isolation trench, three meters deep and five meters wide, dug along the inside of the electric fence. This trench is almost invisible to the visitors.”

”But it will be the last physical barrier preventing December from approaching the electric fence.”

”Meanwhile, the entire boundary of the fifty-acre territory will be covered around the clock by a vibration fiber optic intrusion detection system and thermal imaging surveillance cameras.”

”Any unusual approach or intrusion will trigger an alarm at the security center immediately.”

”Therefore, the multi-layered three-dimensional defense system composed of the physical net, energy field, terrain obstacles, and electronic eyes will make December see an endless expanse of free field.”

”In spring, summer, and autumn, as long as the temperatures in Wyoming are suitable, December can freely run, explore, and even engage in simulated hunting in this vast territory.”

”We will regularly release some live fish into the streams in this area or hide some food to stimulate its exploration and foraging instincts. This is its spring hunting ground.”

”While ensuring its freedom, its safety will always be within the invisible Great Wall we have built.”

Then, he drew the second area connected to Mirror Lake.

”I will demarcate a natural lake bay on the north side of Mirror Lake with an underwater isolation net. This lake bay will become December’s exclusive private bay.”

”In summer, it can swim and dive here to its heart’s content, just like in the real Arctic Ocean.”

”An artificial iceberg floating platform will also be built here for it to rest and sunbathe; this is its summer swimming pool.”

Finally, he drew the third and most technologically advanced part.

”Then there’s the final section, the all-weather polar pavilion. The building covers about two acres, and this is truly our core project.”

”Wyoming’s summer temperatures are deadly for polar bears, so a summer retreat palace is necessary where it can pass the summer safely.”

”This indoor pavilion will feature a deep pool connected to the outdoor lake bay. Above the pool is an artificial floating ice zone supported by top German equipment, capable of making ice continuously throughout the year.”

”The interior of the pavilion will maintain a temperature below zero all year through powerful cooling and air circulation systems, with artificial icebergs and snow caves.”

”When summer temperatures rise, December can swim through an underwater passage from the outdoor lake bay into this ice and snow palace, where it will have an impeccable living environment.”

”This is its winter refuge and its air-conditioned room in the scorching summer. So, the design of this pavilion is of utmost importance!”

He picked up a pen and drew three clear modules on the whiteboard. 𝑓𝑟ℯℴ𝓂

”Thus, I plan to adopt a joint design model between China and the United States.”

”I will invite PGAV Destinations, the American company that designed the Zhuhai Chimelong Ocean Kingdom, to be our conceptual design and animal welfare consultant.”

”They will ensure that the design concept of the entire project is world-class and fully complies with all American laws and regulations and animal welfare standards.”

He shifted his focus: ”However, all the detailed designs and construction drawings will be entrusted to the Chimelong Group Design Institute in China, which also has experience with the Chimelong project.”

”Americans think about what is most legal to build, while Chinese think about how to build most efficiently.”

He turned his eyes to her, full of trust, ”And you, Max, will be the chief scientific advisor. All designs must have your consent, and you have the veto power on scientific requirements,”

”Wyoming’s winters have extremely harsh construction conditions, with only a short few months of effective construction time each year. All Americans see this as an insurmountable obstacle.”

”But in my view, this is not a problem.”

Lin Yu’an’s lips curved into a confident smile: ”Because the main structure of this pavilion will not be built in Wyoming at all.”

Max was stunned for a moment: ”Then... where will it be built?”

”China.”

Lin Yu’an decisively wrote this name on the whiteboard.

”We will decompose the entire Arctic Home indoor pavilion into hundreds of modular steel structures and prefabricated concrete units.”

”These modules will be pre-produced with industrial precision in factories in China, as precise and efficient as producing automobiles.”

”When the Chinese workers finish producing all the steel beams, walls, and even glass curtain walls, the construction site in Wyoming might still be frozen.”

”When the ice and snow melt and the foundation work is completed, these hundreds of modules will be shipped by ocean freighter to Seattle Port and then transported to our ranch.”

”By then, we will showcase an Infrastructure Fanatic assembly, the likes of which the world has never seen, on the plains of Wyoming!”

”The structure construction that Americans need a year to complete, the Chinese team might only take three months.”

This revolutionary idea left Max thrilled but immediately prompted her to consider a most realistic obstacle.

She expressed her concern, ”Lin, this plan is crazy, but there’s one most critical issue.”
