Zenless Zone Zero: The Almighty Incubus of Sixth Street

”Wise! Belle! We’re here! Look at all the good stuff we brought you~”

The moment Astra and Evelyn walked in carrying large bags filled with snacks, Belle’s eyes immediately lit up.

”Wow, you didn’t have to bring so much! How can I accept all this? Come in, Astra! Have a seat and take a look around our studio.”

Although Belle said that, she swiftly snatched the cake from Astra’s hands and, with her free hand, opened the staff room door.

Seeing the guests arrive, the two siblings quickly brewed some tea. Astra greeted them enthusiastically and thanked them once again for helping her back then.

”What are your names? You both looked so happy on stage. So, what do you think? Would you be interested in working with me and bringing joy to everyone together?”

Faced with Astra’s boundless enthusiasm, the two sisters were momentarily overwhelmed.

Noticing this, Evelyn gently reminded Astra to slow down, prompting her to rein herself in.

”My name is Odile, and this is my younger sister, Odette.”

As the elder sister, Odile politely introduced them both. Astra nodded with a smile, quietly admiring how beautiful their names were.

”Regarding Miss Astra’s invitation, please consult our mast... cough... our boss, Wise. Let him make the decision,” Odile said, quickly correcting herself.

”Eh? Oh! I understand. Is it because of the contract? But shouldn’t something like this depend on what you want?”

As Astra spoke, her gaze gradually shifted toward Wise, as though she were looking at an evil boss who kept beautiful girls imprisoned.

”Please. I’m not some unscrupulous capitalist...”

Wise sighed helplessly. He had already told the sisters they were free to make their own decisions and didn’t need his approval for everything.

For example, returning to the stage with Astra would be a wonderful opportunity, assuming it was what they truly wanted.

And judging by their earlier performance, the answer was obvious. Just as Astra had said, they genuinely wanted to bring joy to others in this apocalyptic world.

”Don’t worry about the video store. We can manage things here.”

Belle chimed in to reassure them as well.

Hearing those words, the sisters no longer hesitated.

”In that case, we’d be happy to! But regarding the contract...”

”Don’t worry. Eve and I will help you get preferential treatment, and we’ll reduce the contract restrictions too. Of course, paid holidays are non-negotiable!” Astra declared with a bright smile.

Benefits that generous were almost unheard of. For most people, they were the kind of terms that only existed in dreams.

Afterward, it was naturally time to introduce the final member of the household.

”This is Miss Fairy, the strongest AI. Aside from being occasionally unreliable, she’s an incredibly dependable assistant.”

Wise gestured toward the computer screen beside him as he introduced her.

Astra’s curiosity was instantly piqued.

”Fairy, Fairy, on the wall, who’s the best singer of them all?”

As soon as the words left her mouth, Fairy’s logo appeared across the TVs lining the wall. Holding a differently colored glow stick in each hand, she responded in her signature electronic voice.

[| You. You are. You always will be. |]

”Mmm~ That’s Fairy for you. Such a sweet talker.”

Astra laughed happily, and everyone else joined in. The atmosphere in the room instantly became even livelier.

”I never thought Astra’s popularity would actually increase after the attack.”

As soon as Belle said that, Evelyn, seated beside her, nodded calmly.

”And on top of that, Odeum Entertainment’s stock has risen by thirty percent. Their market value is now approaching five trillion Dennies.”

”It’s still far from enough...”

Astra lightly poked her cheek with her index finger.

There wasn’t the slightest fluctuation in her voice. If anything, she genuinely seemed to think it was too little.

”Five trillion Dennies isn’t enough? How many zeros is that supposed to be...?”

”Wise! Knock it off!”

Belle lightly scolded him, but he simply shrugged while Astra watched the siblings with an amused smile.

”I mean, if I want to terminate my contract with them, I’ll have to save enough to pay the penalty first.”

”...It’s all my fault. If it weren’t for me, Miss Yao wouldn’t be in such a difficult position...”

Sitting on the sofa, Evelyn spoke with a hint of helplessness and guilt.

”What are you talking about, Eve? We only traded something as trivial as money for someone as priceless as you. That’s something worth celebrating!”

Astra walked over, took Evelyn’s hands, and gently pulled her to her feet.

”I know a great restaurant!”

Belle happily raised her hand to make a suggestion.

Astra immediately nodded.

”Perfect! If Belle likes it, then it has to be good. It’s a rare day off, so let’s go right now!”

With that, she grabbed one of each sibling’s hands and enthusiastically pulled them toward the video store’s exit.

”Uh... wait a moment!”

Evelyn hurriedly tried to stop them. But unfortunately, she was already too late.

The moment the video store’s door opened, the source of the commotion outside became obvious.

A massive crowd of enthusiastic fans had gathered outside, along with countless reporters holding cameras.

Wise reacted immediately, letting go of Astra’s hand before anyone outside could catch the wrong impression.

After all, the last thing they needed was another rumor spreading. There was no telling what kind of sensational headlines some of those reporters would come up with.

The three of them hurriedly shut the video store’s door again.

Evelyn, who had just caught up, let out a weary sigh as she rubbed her forehead.

”I told you not to keep improvising.”

”Eve, what do we do now?”

Rather than answering directly, Evelyn simply pointed toward the back door.

”Then... let’s ask the video store owner to open the back entrance!”

Not long afterward, the video store’s car quietly pulled out of the rear parking lot. The reporters, armed with nothing but cameras and their own two legs, had no hope of keeping up.

After enjoying a hearty meal together, they headed to karaoke with Astra and Evelyn. Even after singing their hearts out, they still weren’t satisfied, so they finished the day with yet another hearty meal.

Only after saying their goodbyes did everyone finally head home.

Incidentally, by then, Evelyn and Astra favorability had reached 85 points.

”Hmm, I became good friends with Astra, and I owe it all to you, Brother. Oh, and while you’re at it, work a little harder and make her my sister-in-law too.”

”Belle...” Wise sighed helplessly.

Ever since the previous incident, his little sister had become increasingly bold.

”Alright, alright, I’m just kidding. Haha... Phew, I’m so full. I feel like my stomach can’t even bend. I can’t sit down...”

”If you can’t sit down, then lie down.”

”Yes, sir!”

Belle immediately flopped onto the sofa without the slightest concern, causing her skirt to ride up slightly.

Although she was wearing safety shorts underneath, she still turned toward Wise with a mischievous smile.

”Brother, don’t you dare do anything reckless. I’m so full right now that moving around might make me throw up!”

”Belle, you really are...”

Wise could only shake his head, deciding he’d teach his troublesome little sister a lesson later.
