Zenless Zone Zero: The Almighty Incubus of Sixth Street

[ Bonus Chapter - 100 P.S ]

”I’m sorry, Wise. My father... he said a lot of unnecessary things, but he really is very satisfied with you.”

When they returned to Miyabi’s room, she apologized in a slightly subdued tone.

On one hand, she was still a little embarrassed by the earlier conversation about having a child. On the other, she was quietly observing Wise’s reaction.

”It’s fine. Actually, I was quite interested in what Father-in-law said.”

Naturally, Wise was referring to Miyabi’s childhood stories and the photos Souichirou had mentioned, but Miyabi easily misunderstood his words.

Her eyes immediately lit up, and the blush on her face deepened.

Avoiding his gaze, she spoke in a faint voice.

”I understand. If possible... could our future child carry the Hoshimi surname?”

”Huh?”

Wise was momentarily stunned by her words, but to Miyabi, his brief hesitation seemed like reluctance. She quickly backtracked.

”That might be a bit hard to accept. If you don’t agree, I won’t force it. We can do whatever you wish.”

As she spoke, her thoughts began to wander.

’But if not Hoshimi, then what surname should we use? Does Wise even have a surname?’

Meanwhile, Wise finally snapped out of his brief daze. Looking at Miyabi, he couldn’t help but think she was truly a little dense.

Souichirou’s final words had clearly been meant as a playful joke, though he would undoubtedly be even happier if they actually came true.

But as things stood, Wise had no plans to have a child.

Although they had always been... active, as long as he didn’t will it, there was no possibility of any of the girls becoming pregnant.

”Let’s discuss this another time.”

Wise reached out and gently stroked Miyabi’s cheek. She leaned into his touch and nodded softly.

”Okay. But if our child could have the Hoshimi surname, both my father and I would be very happy. He would also be even more satisfied with you.”

”Mm, I know.”

Judging by how much Miyabi emphasized it, she clearly still wished to preserve the Hoshimi Family bloodline, provided Wise agreed.

After all, it was a family that had gone so far as to prepare wills in advance. It was only natural for her to have such thoughts. But with Wise around, there was no need to worry about any of that for now.

Later, Miyabi had to return to Section 6 for work. Before leaving, she lingered in Wise’s embrace for quite a while, clearly reluctant to part with him.

Yet the moment she stepped outside, she reverted to her usual cool and aloof demeanor.

It seemed that side of her was reserved for Wise alone, and that realization pleased him immensely.

Finally, Wise accompanied Miyabi as she left the Hoshimi Family residence. Although he had now earned his father-in-law’s approval, staying there still felt somewhat uncomfortable.

After they parted ways, Wise planned to return to the video store. However, while on his way, he received a message from Jane.

Lovely Rat (Jane): Is anyone else with you?

The sudden question puzzled Wise, but he didn’t dwell on it and quickly replied.

Little Brother (Wise): No. Why? What’s up?

A moment after he sent the message, Jane replied with a photo. The background appeared to be a luxurious apartment, though the most eye-catching part was naturally Jane herself, dressed rather scantily.

Lovely Rat (Jane): Well? Do you like it?

Little Brother (Wise): Very much! Where are you now?

Lovely Rat (Jane): Oh? Can’t resist the temptation already? Even though you’ve had plenty of contact with me before. Chibi_Bangboo_Laughing.sticker

Seeing her reply, Wise wanted to explain that he had simply been asking where she was.

’There’s no ulterior motive at all...’

Lovely Rat (Jane): Alright, joking aside. I meant the apartment. Do you like my new place?

The message was followed by several more photos showing different parts of the apartment.

While it certainly looked beautiful, Wise couldn’t help but notice something.

Little Brother (Wise): It looks great, but it feels a bit... strange...

Lovely Rat (Jane): Don’t like it? This was all designed for living with you in the future, you know? The sink height, the double-sized bathroom, the non-slip mats in the kitchen, two handles on the bathroom door, and even the sofa is waterproof too~

Little Brother (Wise): Σ(ﾟ∀ﾟﾉ)ﾉ

There were simply too many implications packed into that message. For a moment, Wise didn’t even know how to respond, but fortunately, Jane had already anticipated that.

Lovely Rat (Jane): The apartment’s location is here. Though I might not stay for too long~

Immediately afterward, she shared her location.

Wise checked it and realized it was, coincidentally, not far from where he currently was.

But wasn’t this area near the city center?

’Jane can afford a place here?!’

Though surprised, Wise headed there anyway. As soon as he arrived, before he could knock a second time, the door swung open.

Jane, who had clearly been waiting for him, immediately pulled him inside. The tail that had been wrapped around her black-stocking-clad thigh loosened before naturally coiling around Wise’s waist.

Some time later, after spending a while together, Wise could only admit that Jane had once again shown just how alluring she could be whenever she truly wanted to.

Of course, that wasn’t to say she wasn’t alluring normally.

In short, after experiencing the apartment firsthand, Wise could only say that Jane’s arrangements had been incredibly thoughtful.

”Mmm~ Wise, you’re quite naughty, aren’t you?”

”Why do you say that?” Wise asked, raising an eyebrow.

”Hmph, don’t play dumb. You have another girl’s scent on you. You were clearly with someone else before coming to see me, weren’t you? You didn’t even take a shower first. Do you think I’m not going to be mad?”

As she spoke, Jane playfully tightened her tail around him a little more in mock threat. Her expression tried to appear fierce, but to Wise, it only made her look even cuter.

In truth, he had been prepared. He just hadn’t expected Jane’s sense of smell to be sharp enough to notice anyway.

”Hehe~ Alright~ I won’t tease you anymore.”

Jane chuckled softly as she gently rubbed away the troubled look on Wise’s face.

”Since I didn’t mind back then, I’m certainly not going to hold it against you now. My work keeps me away from you for long periods, so I’ll reluctantly let the other girls take care of you. But...”

Jane leaned in and gave Wise’s neck another light bite. It wasn’t hard enough to hurt, but it still left a faint reddish mark.

”At least for this little while, you can only have my scent on you~”

She whispered the words beside Wise’s ear, her warm breath lightly brushing against it.

Not long afterward, Jane got her wish, and Wise wasn’t in any hurry to leave either. After all, the time he could spend with her wasn’t all that much.

Just then, the phone resting on the nearby cabinet buzzed.

With one arm wrapped around the drowsy, sleeping Jane, Wise reached over with his free hand and checked the message.

Mischievous Sister (Belle): Brother, did Miyabi’s father do anything to you? Was he really angry? Or was it like in those novels where he tells you to take some money and leave his daughter?

Reading Belle’s message, Wise could only sigh in exasperation.

What kind of imagination was that?

Leaving everything else aside, if Miyabi’s father had truly insisted they couldn’t be together, Wise might actually have resorted to... less conventional means to arrange a rather long vacation for Miyabi.
