Super Rich by Doing as You Please

Wang Qing was speechless.

”Did you hear me?”

”Yes, Ma’am. I understand, but...”

As a member of the service staff, Wang Qing naturally couldn’t talk back to a guest. She didn’t dare to.

She had no idea what the relationship was between this woman and Xu Yun.

’What if she’s the future boss’s wife?’

However, being an expert at playing innocent, she saw that Xu Yun remained silent and seized the opportunity to retort, ”But what if the boss is the one who makes a move on me? If he’s the one who initiates it, you can’t blame me for that, right?”

”What are you trying to say?”

”I mean, I won’t be the one to actively seduce the boss.”

Wang Qing repeated, with a perfectly straight face, ”But as the boss’s personal flight attendant, if he asks for something while on the plane, I won’t refuse.”

Xino was completely bewildered.

”...”

Xu Yun, who had been sipping his tea, choked and sprayed it everywhere at Wang Qing’s words.

’What does she mean, if I ask for something on the plane, she won’t refuse?’

Lin Wanzhou looked like he was enjoying the show.

He got a kick out of watching the various women around Xu Yun fight for his affection. It would be best if they actually started a brawl.

’It’s much better for me,’ he thought. ’I only like one woman, so I don’t have these problems.’

Xino was stunned by Wang Qing’s retort.

A few seconds later, she turned to Xu Yun, her eyes flickering with suspicion.

Feeling guilty, Xu Yun said, ”Why are you looking at me?”

”Would you ask?”

”Of course not. I’m a man who respects boundaries.”

Xu Yun gave a tactical cough and replied, ”Besides, I’m afraid of heights. I don’t really dare to... work at high altitudes.”

The corner of Lin Wanzhou’s mouth twitched.

’High-altitude work, my ass!’

’How could you even come up with an excuse like that?!’

Wang Qing’s expression also went blank.

The innocent Xino, however, was quite satisfied after hearing this. ”Fine. I’ll believe you this time.”

Seeing that Xino wasn’t pressing the issue, Xu Yun looked up and shot a glare at Wang Qing, his displeasure clear. His eyes seemed to say, ’You did that on purpose, didn’t you?’

Seeing this, Wang Qing returned to her seat and said nothing more.

’I was just telling the truth.’

「Two hours later, the plane landed in Jiangcheng.」

Just then, a delayed reward from the system appeared in Xu Yun’s mind.

[Faced with irredeemable scum, the Host was overcome by righteous fury. You followed the way of Do as You Please and purified them with physical means, allowing them to be reborn. This is a deed of immense merit. Reward: 10 billion in cash.]

[Bank Balance: 20.2 Billion]

Xu Yun was stunned for a moment.

’Holy crap, the system actually gave me 10 billion this time!’

’Looks like I did the right thing!’

’It just seems that as the rewards get bigger, the system’s delay gets longer.’

’This time, it took a full two days to arrive.’

’Maybe because the amount being transferred is so large, it’s a bit more complicated for the system to process?’

But he didn’t have to worry about that. As long as the money that ended up in his account was clean and wouldn’t raise flags during an audit, he was fine.

His car was already parked at the airport, so the three of them were able to leave right away.

Xu Yun first dropped Lin Wanzhou off, then drove Xino back to his own home.

Seeing where they were, Xino played dumb, asking with a smile, ”It’s late. Why did you bring me to your place instead of taking me home?”

”What do you think, little lamb?”

Xu Yun chuckled slyly. Without another word, he scooped her up and headed for the bedroom.

”Hey, hey, hey! Aren’t we going to shower?”

”It’s fine. I don’t mind if you’re dirty.”

”No way! I feel gross.”

Xino struggled in Xu Yun’s arms, yelling, ”I want to shower first! Please, I’m begging you!”

”Fine, fine, fine.”

Xu Yun compromised. ”I’ll shower with you. How about that?”

”Now that’s more like it. Love you, muah.”

...

「The next morning.」

Xino was still lazing in bed, having fallen back asleep.

Xu Yun had already resolved the matter with Xu Xiaozhi.

But Xino, who felt she was the main culprit in the incident, had been bottling up a lot of emotions. Though she’d appeared calm over the past few days, she hadn’t had a good outlet to release them.

Previously, Xu Yun had been busy comforting Fu Baoying, so she had been considerate enough not to bother him.

Now that he was back and she had him all to herself, her emotions had finally erupted during their ”exercise” together last night.

Xu Yun had been startled, thinking he’d accidentally stepped on the gas too hard and blown a gasket.

But when he asked, he learned it was because of the Xu Xiaozhi incident. Relieved, he proceeded to comfort her both psychologically and physically.

The two of them didn’t rest until just before dawn.

When Xu Yun got up, he saw she was still sound asleep and didn’t wake her.

He went out to the living room and picked up his phone from the table. He saw several missed calls, even though it was early in the morning.

There were calls from Teacher Wu Jinyan and from Ou Jingya.

’Teacher Wu must be calling about the scholarship. As for Ou Jingya... maybe she misses me?’

Xu Yun called Teacher Wu back first.

Wu Jinyan said, ”Tomorrow is the university’s anniversary celebration, and the scholarship matter has been settled.

”The university would like to invite you to attend the event as a distinguished alumnus and say a few words to the current students.”

In Wu Jinyan’s eyes, this was not only an honor for Xu Yun, but for her as well.

After all, she was the one who had taught such an outstanding student and young entrepreneur.

But Xu Yun didn’t see it that way.

Leaving his name was fine—otherwise he wouldn’t have requested it be called the ”Xu Yun Scholarship”—but showing his face was out of the question.

It wasn’t that he was afraid of being investigated or that his public image would crumble under scrutiny.

He just didn’t want to expose himself to the public, have his normal life disrupted, and be secretly photographed everywhere he went, only to end up as a trending topic.

He didn’t want to end up as an internet celebrity.

He much preferred to stay in the shadows, living his wonderful life in peace.

However, he couldn’t just outright refuse his alma mater and his former teacher, so he came up with a plan.

Xu Yun said, ”Teacher, I’m really busy lately and won’t be able to make it. How about I find someone to represent me and make a donation to the university on the spot to show my sincerity?”

It was practically a tradition for distinguished alumni to donate money to the university during anniversary celebrations.

For example, at the last major anniversary, distinguished alumni and famous entrepreneurs all made on-the-spot donations, starting at 100 million yuan.

In the end, Leibus had personally donated 1 billion yuan, taking the top spot, making major headlines, and becoming a hot topic among netizens.

So Xu Yun understood the drill without Teacher Wu having to say anything.

After hearing Xu Yun’s words, Wu Jinyan could only express her regret.

She said with a smile, ”Alright, if you can’t come, you can’t come. But you should still arrange for someone to be there to say a few words at the scholarship’s launch ceremony.

”As for the donation, just have your representative give a small amount as a token gesture. You don’t need to be the one to stand out.”

”I understand.”

After hanging up with his teacher, Xu Yun called Ou Jingya.

The person he had in mind to represent him at the university was Ou Jingya. This would let her have her moment in the spotlight at school.

As soon as Ou Jingya answered, she asked with a laugh, ”What are you doing? Why didn’t you answer my mom’s calls?”

”It’s the crack of dawn. I wasn’t even up yet.”

Xu Yun said, ”You and your mom were blowing up my phone this early. I thought it was something urgent.”

”You already talked to my mom?”

”Yep.”

”Then you know you’ve been invited by our university?” Ou Jingya sounded a little excited as she said this.

Xu Yun said, ”I’m the one who got invited. Why are you so happy?”

”I’m happy for you! We’re good friends who kiss, after all.”

”Since we’re good friends who kiss, I have something I need your help with.”

”What is it?”

Xu Yun chuckled. ”I probably won’t have time tomorrow, so I’ll have to count on you.”

”What do you mean???”

”You’ll represent me at the university event.”

Xu Yun added casually, ”And while you’re at it, help me donate 1.5 billion yuan to the university on the spot.”

”You said donate how much?”

Ou Jingya was shocked. ”Donate 1.5 billion?!!!”

”Yeah. Is there a problem?”

Thinking about his current balance, Xu Yun smiled. ”Leibus donated 1 billion. I can’t be too cheap.”

Ou Jingya was speechless.

’Has he lost his mind, or has the whole world gone crazy?’

’Or maybe I’m the one who’s crazy!’

’Just like that, you’re going to donate 1.5 billion!’

Ou Jingya didn’t know how much money Xu Yun had, but she was sure it wasn’t as much as Leibus.

She immediately tried to persuade him, ”Why are you comparing yourself to Leibus? He’s worth hundreds of billions! How much do you have?”

”Not much. Probably only about 20 billion in my bank account right now.”

Xu Yun said, ”But I’m willing to part with it.”

Ou Jingya was speechless again.

”Alright, it’s been happily decided then.”

Xu Yun didn’t give Ou Jingya a chance to object. ”I’ll treat you to dinner tomorrow night. That’s it. Bye.”

”Wait, I...” Ou Jingya wanted to say more, but Xu Yun had already hung up.

Listening to the dial tone, she hesitated for a moment before rushing off to find her mom.

’Xu Yun is going to donate 1.5 billion!’

’My God, this is a huge deal!’
