Super Rich by Doing as You Please

Xu Yun’s decision to buy a house was a sudden one.

And Li Jinshu had really wanted to come with him, but the fitness center was under construction and couldn’t proceed without its designer.

She had no choice but to stay behind.

After leaving the fitness center, Xu Yun was about to search his phone for the best residential properties in Jiangcheng when he got an unexpected call from Xino.

”Hey, Young Master Xu, what are you up to?”

Xino asked with a laugh, ”I’m a little bored. Come shopping with me.”

”I don’t have time. I’m going to buy a house.”

”Buy a house?”

Hearing this, Xino’s interest was immediately piqued. ”In that case, I’ll go with you! I love shopping.”

If the place is nice, I’ll buy one too and be your neighbor.”

”...”

’Unbelievable. She talks about buying a house like it’s a shopping trip!’

’Buying one just like that!’

”All right. Tell me where you are, and I’ll come get you,” Xu Yun agreed.

’I only just met her last night. She’s the daughter of a wealthy family, so maybe I can get her opinion and ask for some recommendations.’

When Xu Yun arrived at Jiangshang Mall to pick her up, he found Xino standing on the roadside, laden with shopping bags of all sizes.

Today, she wore an off-the-shoulder, low-cut gray dress. With light, natural-looking makeup, she looked youthful and stunning.

”And you still needed me to come shopping with you? Looks like you’ve already finished.”

Xu Yun got out of the car, opened the trunk, and couldn’t help but laugh. ”I see. You didn’t call me out to shop with you, but to be your free labor.”

”Hehe. You saw right through me. Now that you’re here, I can keep going.”

Looking at the various luxury shopping bags, Xu Yun asked curiously, ”How much did all this cost you?”

”Not much. A little over a million.”

After her casual reply, Xino eagerly asked, ”So, where are you thinking of buying a place?”

”I don’t know. I haven’t picked a place yet.”

Xu Yun’s answer left Xino utterly dumbfounded.

’You’re about to buy a house, but you don’t even know where?’

’How can you be so reckless!’

As he drove, Xu Yun asked, ”You must be familiar with the properties in Jiangcheng, right? Can you give me a recommendation?”

”Well, what kind are you looking for?”

Xino asked with a smile, ”A villa, or a large flat-style apartment? Do you have any specific requirements?”

”I’m not interested in a villa for now. Let’s go with a large flat. Prime river view would be best, with a good reputation and in a great location.”

”There is one development that fits your criteria and is quite nice.”

Xino thought for a moment before replying, ”That would be Jiangcheng Heaven and Earth, the best development in Jiangcheng for large, riverfront flats. The only thing is, it’s quite expensive.”

Xu Yun completely ignored that last part.

’Expensive? How expensive could it be?’

He asked, ”Are they already furnished?”

”They all come with luxury furnishings, but you can always redecorate if you aren’t satisfied.”

”That works.”

Xu Yun said, ”Give me the directions. We’re going to Jiangcheng Heaven and Earth.”

Half an hour later, the two arrived at the sales center for the river-view apartments of Jiangcheng Heaven and Earth, Phase Three.

The moment the saleswoman saw Xu Yun and Xino step out of a Bentley, she knew they were distinguished clients who were serious about buying.

’If I can’t close this sale, the fault will be mine, not theirs.’

So, as the pair reached the entrance, she greeted them warmly and proactively pulled the glass door open.

”Welcome.”

The saleswoman bowed slightly and asked with a smile, ”My name is Wang Ke, a sales associate here. I can introduce you to any kind of property or floor plan you’re interested in.”

Xu Yun said, ”Something large, with a good location.”

”Of course, sir.”

Standing before the architectural model, Wang Ke explained, ”Phase Three of Jiangcheng Heaven and Earth has been on sale for five months. It consists of two buildings, and most of the units have already been sold.”

”The units still available are on the 5th, 11th, 13th, and 15th floors of Building 1, and the 7th, 8th, 16th, and 21st floors of Building 2.”

”The smallest unit is 321 square meters, while the largest is over 550 square meters. The price is a little over 70,000 per square meter.”

Even Xino’s eyelids twitched at that price.

She had only ever heard about these apartments, never actually looked into them.

’By that calculation, even the smallest unit costs over twenty million!’

’Good heavens. Her family’s villa at East Lake only cost a few tens of millions.’

It wasn’t just Xino; Xu Yun also felt a jolt after hearing the saleswoman. He wasn’t nearly as calm as he looked.

After all, back in his hometown, nineteen million had been enough to buy an entire commercial street.

’Luckily, I have over fifty million on my card,’ he thought. ’It would be so embarrassing if I couldn’t afford it.’

After stating the price, the saleswoman, Wang Ke, secretly gauged their reactions.

While the woman beside him looked slightly surprised, the man remained as still as a mountain, his expression completely normal.

’This proves it,’ she thought. ’This handsome man has real means. He’s not just putting on a brave face to impress the beautiful woman with him.’

’The woman’s family must be wealthy as well; she’s dressed head-to-toe in top luxury brands.’

’But she’s probably just a friend who came along for the ride.’

A salesperson could tell that much just from their body language when they walked in.

’Therefore, the handsome man is my primary target.’

’As long as I can get him interested, the deal is basically done.’

But a sales pitch alone wasn’t enough. After listening for a while, Xu Yun wanted to see the actual apartments.

After all, when you’re spending tens of millions, it’s important that you actually like the place.

Xu Yun asked, ”Can you take us to see the actual units? Or a show apartment?”

”Of course, sir.”

The saleswoman smiled. ”What size unit would you like to see?”

”Let’s look at all of them, then I’ll decide.”

”Certainly. Please wait a moment while I register your visit and get the key cards.”
