This Doctor Is Too Wealthy

After Shi Jin and Jin Zan parted ways, the first thing he did was find a familiar Chinese herbal medicine shop, and with the prescription on his mobile phone, he obtained the medicine ingredients he needed.

Furthermore, to maximize the efficacy of the medicine, he did not choose to have the pharmacy decoct the medicine, but instead bought a clay pot to take home; he wanted to decoct the medicine himself.

After drinking two doses of medicine on the first day, Shi Jin didn’t feel any noticeable change, which made him somewhat disappointed. However, realizing it was only the first day, he suppressed the agitation in his heart.

After drinking two doses of medicine in the morning and evening on the second day, he still felt his wrist was very painful.

At this moment, he was extremely irritable and directly argued with his Wife, who came to show concern for him. His Wife was so angry that she locked the bedroom door, leaving him to sleep on the sofa.

Shi Jin had no choice but to make do with a night on the sofa.

On the third morning, Shi Jin was awakened by the sound of his Wife washing up, reluctantly sitting up from the sofa.

The first thing he did upon waking was to check his wrist.

Hmm~~~?

His wrist didn’t seem to hurt anymore?!

Every day after waking up, the numbness in both hands also disappeared.

Shi Jin felt a surge of joy and hurriedly checked his wrist.

Not sure if it was psychological or a real sensation, Shi Jin felt that his wrist wasn’t as swollen as yesterday, and when moving it, it wasn’t as stiff as before.

Hahaha

Shi Jin laughed excitedly.

Seeing his Wife ready to leave for work, still cold-faced and unwilling to speak, Shi Jin didn’t mind at all and suddenly jumped up, hugged his Wife, and gave her a loud kiss.

”Are you sick? Let go.” Shi Jin’s Wife glared at Shi Jin fiercely, and disdainfully wiped the cheek that was kissed.

She was still angry inside.

Not just because Shi Jin shamelessly kissed her, would her anger dissipate.

But Shi Jin didn’t care about his Wife’s thoughts; he didn’t mind her cold words at all.

Even after she cursed at him, he shamelessly kissed her again.

This time, his Wife directly pushed him away, glared one more time before leaving.

Shi Jin didn’t care about all this; he was too excited now.

The dark clouds that have been hanging over him for many days were finally about to lift.

Jin Zan was also constantly thinking about Shi Jin’s condition, especially since the one diagnosing him was his good brother, making him more concerned.

So, just as Shi Jin was at home preparing to decoct medicine, Jin Zan called him, ”Hey Shi, what’s going on with your condition now?

It’s been three days, can you reply?”

Connecting the call, Shi Jin finally found someone he could confide in, and he immediately recounted his personal feelings in great detail.

Upon hearing his classmate’s condition was improving, Jin Zan was genuinely happy, and cheerfully said, ”Hey Shi, I contacted Professor Cui from our Department of Physiotherapy, he happens to have time today, quickly come over.”

Shi Jin repeatedly thanked Jin Zan, saying he would come right over and thoughtfully commented, ”Oh, Jin, should I prepare some fruits or something?”

On the other end, Jin Zan quickly replied, ”No need, no need; Professor Cui is different from Du, just follow the normal consultation process.

I’ve informed Professor Cui of your situation; he suggests combining massage and guasha, which can work with the medicine you’re drinking and maximize efficacy.”

”That’s good, that’s good. As long as I can recover quickly, anything goes,” Shi Jin didn’t hesitate and immediately agreed.

Just as Jin Zan was about to hang up, Shi Jin asked again, ”Hey Jin, does this Professor Cui say how many times we need to do it?”

”Haha, I actually asked for you.” Jin Zan chuckled slightly and said, ”Professor Cui says massage takes effect slowly but is safe and does not harm the body, so it can be done every two days.

While guasha works fast but is harmful to the body, so doing it every seven days is enough.

Based on his preliminary estimate, considering your situation, it needs to be done for at least three weeks.

However, details will be finalized after he checks your condition.”

Shi Jin softly replied ”Oh,” and asked, ”Is Professor Cui’s fee expensive?”

Listening to Shi Jin, Jin Zan knew his stingy old habit had surfaced.

As the saying goes, ’Mountains and rivers change easily; nature is hard to change,’ and this was most evident in Shi Jin.

His life now is actually not lacking money; while not overly wealthy, it absolutely meets a well-off standard of living.

But this stingy habit fostered by a poor upbringing, although hidden away, still exists and sometimes emerges.

Here it comes again!

Jin Zan quickly said, ”Hey Shi, you can’t be careless about this.

Professor Cui’s fee is a bit higher than other small clinics or hospitals—150 yuan for a massage and 200 yuan for guasha.

Yet Professor Cui is an expert in this field; his skills are exceptionally profound, and now in our hospital, he doesn’t personally perform the procedures anymore.

For him to agree to treat you, I personally begged, and he agreed.”

Jin Zan’s tone was urgent; he feared his classmate might delay his condition over a few hundred yuan.

After taking a breath, Jin Zan continued, ”Additionally, guasha is very dangerous; done correctly, it treats diseases, penetrates through the skin, and can dissipate stasis and activate blood.
