Apocalyptic Disaster: I Hoard Billions in Supplies and Kill the Saint

35: Chapter 35 Buying the Supply ChannelIn the early morning, Ye Nanxing opened her eyes, casually picked up her phone, and glanced at her account balance.

Remaining: 5.26 billion.

She stared at the screen, silent for a few seconds, before suddenly sighing with emotion.

”How is there still so much left?!”

Over these past few days, she had been on a frantic shopping spree. She had already thrown nearly a billion into prepared foods, grain, and fast-moving consumer goods alone.

But compared to her massive capital pool, it was like a mere tickle; there was almost no visible change!

She sighed, rolled over to sit up, and rubbed her temples.

”Spending money is too hard...”

But she knew that the money she had now was only temporary. After the Apocalypse, these numbers would turn into meaningless scrap paper!

Therefore, she had to continue hoarding!

Today’s goal was essential supplies for the bitter winter!

After making a few phone calls, Ye Nanxing quickly discovered a problem—

The limits for ordinary people to purchase fuel and coal were too low!

Whether it was diesel, gasoline, or coal, the state had strict controls. Purchasing a large amount of stock at once would land her on a key monitoring list!

Since she couldn’t hoard goods with such fanfare, she would change her approach—

Buy the supply channels directly!

Anyway, the thing she lacked least right now was money.

Ye Nanxing opened her phone and directly searched for gas stations that were poorly managed and in urgent need of transfer.

Soon, she found one—

A private gas station in the northern suburbs of Luo City was up for transfer as a prime location!

Area: 6,000 square meters.

Current inventory: 100,000 liters of diesel, 50,000 liters of gasoline.

Storage tank capacity: 500,000 liters.

Asking price: 90 million.

Ye Nanxing looked at the promotional page and chuckled softly.

If a prime shop’s business was good, they certainly wouldn’t transfer it. That left only one conclusion—

It was losing money!

This was practically a hoarding base tailor-made for her!

That afternoon, Ye Nanxing took her lawyer directly to negotiate. Within two hours, the deal was finalized, and she bought it outright with a full payment!

The former owner was so excited he almost cried.

”Miss Ye, you are truly my benefactor! I’ve wanted to stop running this broken station for a long time. I’m finally free!”

Ye Nanxing gave a faint smile, but in her heart, she knew that this ”broken station” would be a key resource for her future survival!

With the fuel issue settled, Ye Nanxing began to set her sights on hoarding coal!

The purchase limit for coal through ordinary channels was at most 10 tons per person per month, which was not nearly enough for her to hoard!

So, she simply used the same method—

Directly buy a private coal storage yard!

There was a small coal yard in the suburbs of South City. The owner was an old miner in his fifties. Due to tightening environmental policies, his coal yard business had become increasingly difficult, and he was planning to transfer it!

Area: 8,000 square meters

Current inventory: 8,000 tons of coal, including 5,000 tons of lump coal and 3,000 tons of anthracite.

Coal storage capacity: 30,000 tons

Asking price: 60 million

Ye Nanxing signed the contract on the spot and paid in full with cash!

The old miner excitedly shook her hand.

”Miss Ye, from now on, you’re the boss of this coal yard. Don’t worry, we can still help you haul goods from the mine to ensure your supply is never cut off!”

Ye Nanxing smiled slightly and nodded.

”Good, you will continue to be responsible for the future source of goods.”

With that, the problem of fuel and coal hoarding was completely resolved!

How much oil she wanted to buy and how much coal she wanted to hoard was now entirely up to her!

She had the fuel and coal, but transportation was also a big issue!

She immediately contacted a large engineering machinery company in South City to purchase a batch of heavy vehicles—

10 fuel tankers, each with a maximum capacity of 50 tons, to facilitate fuel transport.

10 dump trucks, which could carry coal, charcoal, and building materials.

5 All-Terrain Off-Road Trucks for tactical transport, capable of adapting to extreme environments.

10 Multi-functional Refrigerated Trucks to transport frozen food.

3 high-performance SUVs (as backup transport vehicles)

Total price: 230 million!

The owner of the Luo City engineering company almost cried with excitement—his inventory had been backlogged for over half a year, and then Ye Nanxing took it all in one go!

Inside the conference room.

Ye Nanxing sat in the main seat, flipping through the procurement contract. Beside her sat a young lawyer with a sharp gaze and a slightly furrowed brow.

His name was Han Yiran, 28 years old, an intern lawyer from a poor county. He had only a pair of elderly parents at home. Due to his family’s financial straits, he had exerted all his effort to get into university. After graduation, he joined a well-known law firm in South City but had yet to become a permanent employee.

Because he had no background and no resources, he could only do the most exhausting work for the lowest salary, and was even frequently suppressed by the senior lawyers.

This time, Ye Nanxing’s car purchase contract should have been the full responsibility of a senior lawyer at the firm. However, the other party looked down on the deal as ”just buying cars, not a big case,” and casually dumped the matter on Han Yiran, making him run the errand.

Han Yiran originally thought this was just an ordinary contract review. However, when he seriously studied the contract terms, he discovered a massive loophole!

His expression changed slightly, and he looked up at Ye Nanxing, whispering.

”Miss Ye, there is a problem with this contract.”

Ye Nanxing raised an eyebrow slightly.

”Oh? Tell me about it.”

Han Yiran pointed to a certain clause in the contract and said in a heavy voice.

”The other party added a special provision in the delivery terms. If certain models cannot be delivered within the contract period, they will be replaced by ’new cars of equivalent market value.’”

”It sounds like there’s no problem, but in reality, this gives the other party an opportunity to swap the vehicle models.”

He flipped to another page and continued.

”For example, in this batch of vehicles, the ’All-Terrain Off-Road Trucks’ are special supplies for military enterprises and are almost impossible to buy on the market. The other party is very likely to use an ordinary heavy truck to replace them.”

”Moreover, according to the contract details, if we accept the replacement, we must pay the price difference.”

”In other words—”

He looked at Ye Nanxing with a firm tone.

”They can use ordinary heavy trucks to replace high-end tactical vehicles and make us pay an extra tens of millions in price difference!”

Hearing this, Ye Nanxing’s eyes darkened slightly.

”Tens of millions?”

Her tone was calm, but a hint of coldness appeared in the depths of her eyes.

”In other words, if this contract is signed directly, I’ll be swindled out of tens of millions for nothing?”

Han Yiran nodded.

”Yes.”

Across the conference table, the person in charge of the machinery company’s face immediately changed. Just as he was about to explain, a cold snort came from the doorway—

”Han Yiran, what do you think you are? This kind of contract was specifically reviewed by our law firm. What does an intern lawyer like you know?”

The senior lawyer leading the team walked coldly into the conference room, his face dark.

The person who came was exactly the one who was unwilling to come earlier because the car purchase case was too small.

This senior lawyer was in his forties, dressed in a sharp suit with a haughty gaze. He glanced at Han Yiran and said with a contemptuous tone.

”Miss Ye, our law firm has a long-term cooperation with the machinery company. The contract terms are all standardized. Han Yiran is just an intern; he is not qualified to judge the professionalism of the contract.”

”Besides, even if there really is a price difference, it’s only tens of millions. To someone like you, Miss Ye, it’s basically nothing.”

”Obsessing over it further will just be a waste of time.”

His tone carried a subtle, impatient perfunctoriness.

Ye Nanxing raised her eyes and looked at him coldly.

”Do you think tens of millions doesn’t count as money?”
