Apocalyptic Disaster: I Hoard Billions in Supplies and Kill the Saint

11: Chapter 11 Yuntai Jade Shop”Don’t, don’t! I... I’ll talk!”

”It’s... it’s the boss of the ’Yuntai jade stone Gambling Shop’ next to Desheng Jade Firm. He told me to keep an eye on you! He said you won too much in the jade stone gambling market today and was afraid you would affect his business...”

Ye Nanxing narrowed her eyes; it was just as she had expected.

She had gone on a shopping spree today, and with every piece she touched turning out to be high-quality, she had indeed aroused the dissatisfaction of many in the jade stone gambling circle.

But she hadn’t expected that the first person to jump out and act would be the boss of that Yuntai jade stone Gambling Shop?!

She lowered her head and said in a calm tone.

”Did your boss just tell you to follow me? No other instructions?”

The burly man hesitated, his eyes flickering.

Ye Nanxing curled the corners of her lips slightly and pressed down with her foot, causing the man’s wrist to make a ”click” sound.

”Ah—!”

The excruciating pain made the burly man gasp, his body shrinking back violently as he hurriedly shouted.

”He... he said that if you left the jade firm with the money, we were to rob you and make you obediently hand over your secret to jade stone gambling!”

Ye Nanxing sneered; he was truly a greedy and foolish fellow.

But in the next second, the burly man’s expression turned ferocious, a fierce light erupting in his eyes. He suddenly raised his hand, aiming straight for the stun baton in Ye Nanxing’s hand!

The stun baton was snatched away, and a flash of triumphant excitement crossed the man’s eyes as he pressed the activation button!

”Zzz—!”

But the moment the stun baton was activated, Ye Nanxing shifted her body slightly and delivered a precise backhanded elbow strike, slamming hard into the man’s shoulder!

Bang!

The burly man’s hand trembled, and the stun baton dropped. Ye Nanxing’s gaze was cold and sharp as she snatched up the stun baton from the ground and followed through with a counter-attack!

”Zzz—!”

The electric current instantly surged into the man’s neck. He widened his eyes, his mouth agape, and the only sound from his throat was an ”Ugh—” before he collapsed to the ground, twitching as his limbs convulsed wildly.

The thin, tall man was pale and trying to scramble up during the chaos, but Ye Nanxing suddenly raised her hand and jabbed the baton directly into him again!

”Zzz—!”

Both men twitched simultaneously, their eyes rolling back, and they passed out completely!

The alley fell into dead silence again, with only the faint blue light of the stun baton occasionally flickering.

Ye Nanxing lowered her eyes, looking at the two men slumped on the ground. She tilted her head slightly and muttered carelessly.

”As expected, greedy people always like to court death.”

Ye Nanxing ignored the two men on the ground, looked up at the night sky with eyes cold as knives, and walked out of the alley.

The night was deep, and the bustling streets of South City were still brightly lit. Ye Nanxing walked out of the alley, gazed at the heavy traffic, and took a deep breath.

Although the events of tonight were a bit troublesome, she wasn’t worried.

The most important thing now was to ensure she had enough stamina and energy to meet the challenges ahead.

She hailed a taxi and casually named the most high-end hotel in South City.

”Xingyue International Hotel.”

The driver cast a surprised look at her; after all, the hotel was extremely expensive, and ordinary people couldn’t afford to stay there.

But Ye Nanxing remained calm, took out her phone to casually book a top-floor luxury suite, and then leaned back in her seat to rest her eyes.

She made money to enjoy life, so naturally, she couldn’t mistreat herself.

She needed a night to rest properly and sort out her plans for the future.

Upon arriving at the hotel, the receptionist saw her booking information and became exceptionally respectful.

”Ms. Ye, your room is ready. Please follow me.”

After entering the room, Ye Nanxing locked the door, took off her coat, walked straight into the bathroom, and turned on the hot water.

Warm water washed over her body, and she closed her eyes, letting herself relax completely.

All day, her brain had been running at high speed, and her body had endured extreme exertion; now, she finally had a moment to catch her breath.

She showered for a full half-hour, changed into clean pajamas, sat on the large, soft bed, and slowly let out a breath.

This was just the beginning; tomorrow... she had another tough battle to fight!

South City jade stone Gambling Street, inside the Yuntai jade stone Shop.

The lights were dim, and the air was filled with the faint scent of cigar smoke.

A middle-aged man wearing a black Tang suit sat behind the counter with his legs crossed, fingers rhythmically tapping on the tabletop, his expression somber.

Zhao Qishan was a rare ruthless character in the South City jade stone gambling circle. On the surface, he was a merchant dealing in jade stone, but privately, he controlled a large number of smuggling operations.

Today, he received news that an outsider woman had made over a dozen cuts in the jade stone gambling market, all of which were huge successes. Afterward, she even took several pieces of top-tier jadeite directly to Desheng Jade Firm to sell, cashing out tens of millions in one go!

This matter was not right.

True jade stone gambling experts relied on experience and luck; even the most skilled ones couldn’t possibly succeed every single time.

He had lived for so many years, and this was the first time he had seen such an outrageous thing.

This woman was either incredibly lucky, or... she had mastered some method that ordinary people couldn’t understand!

If it were the former, he could accept it.

But if it were the latter...

Then it meant that she had something on her worth him, Zhao Qishan, taking action.

Zhao Qishan’s gaze turned cold as he crushed his cigar in the ashtray and said in a deep voice.

”A-Jun, have A-Bao and the others returned yet?”

The young man standing nearby—A-Jun—looked a bit unnatural upon hearing this and lowered his head to reply.

”Boss, for the time being... there is no news.”

Zhao Qishan’s brows furrowed slightly.

”What’s going on?”

A-Jun swallowed and said cautiously.

”Boss, our men were clearly keeping a close watch, but... right after that woman left Desheng Jade Firm, she turned into an alley, and as a result... the two of them were stunned.”

”Crack—!”

Zhao Qishan waved his hand, and the ashtray smashed hard against the floor, shattering into countless pieces!

The atmosphere of the entire Yuntai jade stone Shop instantly became cold and oppressive!

Zhao Qishan’s gaze was cold and sharp, his voice chillingly gloomy.

”Say that again?”

A-Jun’s face turned pale. He lowered his head, not daring to look him in the eye, and explained while forcing himself to stay calm.

”Boss, our men were ambushed by her... I heard she used a stun baton. That woman has great skills, and she took down A-Bao and A-Kun in just a few seconds!”

Zhao Qishan’s brows furrowed even tighter, his expression terrifyingly dark.

A woman who could not only win a fortune in the jade stone gambling market but could also easily take down his men?!

What on earth was her background?!

Zhao Qishan took a deep breath, forcibly suppressing the anger in his heart, and spoke in a cold tone.

”Investigate! Investigate her background clearly for me!”

”Who she is, when she came to South City, where she has been before—dig it all up for me!”

A-Jun nodded immediately.

”Yes, Boss!”

Zhao Qishan narrowed his eyes, his voice low.

”Also, send people to Desheng Jade Firm to watch her.”

”If she dares to sell jade stone again, find a way—and make her ’disappear’!”

A-Jun’s body stiffened, then he nodded vigorously.

”Understood!”

Zhao Qishan looked at the account book on the table, his eyes cold and gloomy.

In the South City jade stone gambling circle, he made the rules.

No one could make money here without following the rules!

Ye Nanxing?

No matter what secrets she had, they must be in his hands!

The next morning, sunlight spilled into the room through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Ye Nanxing opened her eyes, feeling refreshed and full of energy.

She rolled out of bed, opened her phone, and began searching for jade stone wholesale markets in South City.

Although jade stone gambling was a quick way to make money, it wasn’t suitable for long-term operations.

She needed a more stable channel to hoard large quantities of jade stone, allowing her space to continuously upgrade while ensuring she had sufficient capital reserves!

Soon, she locked onto several large jade stone wholesale markets. One company, named ”Baoying Jade Firm,” specialized in wholesaling jadeite rough stones and finished jade wares, and its prices were more stable than the jade stone gambling market.

She changed her clothes, grabbed her bag, and went downstairs, prepared to head to the jade firm for procurement.

Just as she walked out of the hotel entrance, Ye Nanxing’s footsteps paused slightly, her gaze landing on a low-key yet extremely luxurious black luxury car.
