Apocalyptic Disaster: I Hoard Billions in Supplies and Kill the Saint

21: Chapter 21 Armed Siege of the MineChu Yunting could not help but chuckle, his eyes holding a hint of indescribable emotion as he raised a hand to rub his temples.

”Miss Ye, you certainly have the nerve to ask.”

Ye Nanxing said matter-of-factly.

”Mr. Chu, you are so wealthy; this amount should not be anything to you, right?”

Chu Yunting chuckled softly, a flash of sharp light crossing his eyes.

”Miss Ye, what will you use to pay it back?”

Ye Nanxing’s expression remained unchanged, her tone calm.

”Cut the jade stone on-site, sell it on-site.”

Chu Yunting narrowed his eyes at her, and after a few seconds of silence, he suddenly laughed.

”Fine, I will lend it to you.”

He casually took out his phone and transferred 300 million in cash directly to Ye Nanxing!

”However, Miss Ye.”

He tapped the table lightly, speaking in a leisurely manner.

”If you lose this time, you will owe me a very large debt.”

The corners of Ye Nanxing’s mouth curled up slightly, her eyes calm and confident.

”Rest assured, Mr. Chu, I will not lose.”

Her jade stone gambling was never a gamble, but a guaranteed hunt!

Night fell over the Myitkyina mining area.

This transaction lasted for four whole days.

Ye Nanxing went on a shopping spree, acquiring thirty-five trucks of top-quality raw jade stones with a total value of 520 million; 220 million of this was her own capital, and the remaining 300 million was borrowed from Chu Yunting.

In the eyes of the mining area’s person-in-charge, this transaction was originally a windfall, but as Ye Nanxing’s departure date approached, the gazes of the mine’s upper management gradually became greedy and dangerous.

Until—Ye Nanxing’s identity was uncovered!

”This woman is actually Ye Nanxing?”

”She is that mysterious figure who recently appeared in the domestic jade stone gambling scene, winning a hundred rounds in a row and cutting out billions in top-quality jadeite?”

”No wonder the goods she bought had almost no waste!”

”Damn it, we actually sold thirty-five trucks of top-quality goods for nothing?”

The high-ranking officials of the Myanmar Side had completely darkened expressions.

They finally realized a terrifying fact—

The value of these raw jade stones that Ye Nanxing bought was far more than 500 million!

They had underestimated Ye Nanxing’s eye for jade, and perhaps even underestimated her true purpose.

At this moment, a man in black slowly spoke, his voice grim.

”She has already paid, the transaction is officially complete, we have no way to tamper with it...”

After a pause, his eyes turned fierce.

”But if she dies here, the goods... will still be ours.”

The mining area’s upper management looked at each other, nodded slowly, and made their decision—

Kill her and seize the goods!

Ye Nanxing stood on the makeshift helipad outside the mining area, looking at the night in the distance, her eyes narrowing slightly.

She had already paid, and logically, she should be taking Chu Yunting back to the country tonight.

But her intuition told her—something was wrong.

The air was too quiet.

The entire mining area was usually brightly lit, but today, the lights in many corners had been extinguished.

Chu Yunting stood behind her, his expression calm, and said softly.

”Miss Ye, how do you... feel about tonight?”

Ye Nanxing smiled, her tone light.

”Not very good.”

Chu Yunting raised an eyebrow slightly, his eyes deep.

”It seems you have noticed it too.”

”Mm.”

Ye Nanxing nodded slightly, a flicker of coldness passing through her eyes.

The 520 million they had spent over these past few days would be worth at least ten times that amount if converted into finished jade stone products.

Would the Myanmar Side really be willing to let that go?

”Mr. Chu, how prepared are you this time?” Ye Nanxing asked softly.

Chu Yunting smiled faintly.

”Rest assured, Miss Ye, I never engage in unprepared transactions.”

”Bang!”

The pitch-black night sky was torn apart by the first gunshot, and the air was instantly filled with the pungent smell of gunpowder!

Bang! Bang, bang, bang!

The next second, the entire mining area completely turned into a battlefield!

The mining site’s armed personnel surrounded the entire helipad from all directions almost simultaneously!

Standing at the very front of the group was the Myanmar Side’s armed leader, who coldly scanned everyone on the tarmac, a greedy and vicious smile curling on his lips.

”Everyone listen up—leave Ye Nanxing and Chu Yunting behind, and the goods belong to us!”

His voice was grim and filled with murderous intent!

Thirty-five trucks of top-quality raw jade stones, worth over 500 million—they could not possibly hand over this wealth to anyone!

”Bang!”

Just as he finished speaking, a bullet flew right past his ear and slammed into an off-road vehicle behind him, sending sparks flying!

Chu Yunting slowly lowered his pistol, his expression cold, a trace of a contemptuous smile hanging on his lips.

”Heh, double-crossing? You guys are not qualified.”

The next second—

Boom!

The cargo truck compartment next to the helipad suddenly sprang open!

In the darkness, over thirty fully armed bodyguards in black, wielding heavy weapons, leaped directly out of the compartment!

”Bang, bang, bang!”

Fierce firepower launched a full counterattack in an instant!

Chu Yunting’s bodyguard team, comprised entirely of elite retired soldiers, had combat capabilities far superior to these mining site armed personnel!

The bodyguard team engaged in an intense firefight with the Myanmar Side’s armed personnel; muzzle flashes erupted everywhere, bullets flew, and the entire helipad was almost swallowed by thick smoke and the smell of gunpowder!

Ye Nanxing hid behind cover, carefully observing the situation.

Although Chu Yunting’s men were extremely elite, the Myanmar Side was clearly prepared; their weaponry and equipment were not inferior, and they even seemed to have hidden cards.

Meanwhile, Chu Yunting, while firing precisely, said in a low voice.

”Miss Ye, you are not still thinking about making money, are you?”

Ye Nanxing glanced at him indifferently and asked casually.

”Doesn’t Mr. Chu want to?”

Chu Yunting smiled, as if saying it casually.

”If you are really interested, that building in the northwest corner of the mining area... well, I heard it is piled high with top-quality jade stone collected over the past few years.”

Ye Nanxing’s eyes flickered, appearing lost in thought.

But she did not respond, instead continuing to calmly observe the battle.

Chu Yunting, while shooting, added in a low voice.

”However... such a large warehouse must be heavily guarded; it will not be that easy to get in.”

Ye Nanxing frowned slightly, not understanding why Chu Yunting would tell her this right now.

But since she knew about it, she naturally would not waste this opportunity!

After all, Ye Nanxing, who had returned from the Apocalypse, understood the importance of opportunities better than anyone.

Chu Yunting watched the thoughtfully contemplating Ye Nanxing, wondering what was on her mind.

But soon, he had no time to think.

”Bang! Bang, bang!”

The gunfight became increasingly intense, and the entire battlefield descended into chaos; Ye Nanxing quietly retreated, and under the cover of smoke and abandoned trucks, quickly hid in the darkness.

Chu Yunting did not notice her disappearance, or perhaps, he also wanted to see something.

”Whatever Miss Ye wants to do, she has never needed anyone to manage her.”

He muttered to himself, continuing to command his men in the battle.

Meanwhile, Ye Nanxing had already quietly circled around to the vicinity of Chu Yunting’s ammunition truck.

She crouched in the shadows, her gaze sweeping over the rows of neatly stacked ammunition crates, her heart stirring slightly.

She did not have enough demolition equipment on her, and in this situation, the best solution...

The corners of her mouth curled up slightly; she quickly pried open an ammunition crate, took out a tactical vest, three C4 explosives, and a submachine gun, then nimbly restored the crate to its original position, disappearing into the darkness with the equipment without anyone noticing.

If Chu Yunting knew his munitions had been stolen, his expression would surely be magnificent.

However, now was not the time to think about such things.
