I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 2002: 24.263 Sixth Violet Star - On the Surface

With the sudden destruction of the dwarf kingdom had reached an ending, those who were still escaping for their lives had run out to the surface trying to find a way to survive. Those who had escaped can only be considered a small group. Most of the dwarf’s population was now even lesser than the Beastmen race.

The dwarf king, Garan, who was forced to leave the kingdom by the elder dwarfs and his loyalist, had just found the group of escapees that left ahead of them. Most were female and children whose spouse and family had sacrificed themselves just to save them. It can be said that the only men remaining from the dwarf race that came out of the kingdom were them.

Seeing the state of the rest of the survivors, Dwarf King Garan regrets the fact that he had let the elder dwarf change his decision. At the very least she shouldn’t have let pressure influence his decision. If not for that his race wouldn’t have suffered this much, to the point that they were almost extinct and that their lives are currently in danger.

”King, where should we go now? We’ve lost our home.”

”Boohoo~ why did this all have to happen? Why do they need to do this to us?”

”Aren’t we the ones they’ve bullied first by attacking the king?! Are they telling us we shouldn’t retaliate at all!?”

”This is unfair! The king had sent away his queen and children that day the representative of the Beastmen Race had come. Why didn’t you let them take us away too!?”

The survivors who had lost almost their everything couldn’t help but look at the Dwarf King with blame in their eyes. Being beaten down to the last of their energy, with most of their loved ones dead and the loss of their home adding the fact that their kingdom had fallen. They are barely alive, yet the pain still hasn’t faded at all.

Seeing such eyes made Dwarf King Garan unable to see their eyes. Even though it wasn’t his only decision not to seek protection from the Beastmen Race, the fact that in the end he let pressure change his mind was enough to say how much this affected the ending of his race. However, the fact that it was announced before that it was his decision and the council of elder dwarfs who declined the path of seeking their protection with the other race.

The prime minister, who was among the loyalists still alive, had said, ”This is a majority decision between the king’s faction and the elder dwarves. Because the elders believe that the current representative who is an elf will be no different from those elves who had caused their race to suffer the most. Because of this biased thinking that our kingdom had fallen to such a state.”

The survivors cursed the elder dwarfs but no matter how much they cursed those beings were all dead and had longed returned to earth. They wouldn’t be able to hear anything about their complaints as they were all dead. Killed just to buy some time for them to escape. Once the curses had reached a certain level that is unbearable to hear that the Dwarf King would speak out fiercely to shut them up.

”Enough! What is the use of complaining about the dead?! They couldn’t even hear you anymore! Moreover, if not for them you wouldn’t have been able to escape with your life. They had sacrificed themselves to buy time for yours. Isn’t that enough to be thankful?” Dwarf King Garan said.

He looked at his people with disappointed filled eyes which instantly put the group to mute and such them up.

Dwarf King Garan said, ”Stop talking! Right now we can only seek protection from the ancient forest’s race, the beastmen. There is no more time to waste. Get your asses moving!”

Seeing the enraged mood of their king, the dwarfs despite their silence were full of anger within them. But afraid of being left behind they can only shut their mouths and follow the Dwarf King.

On the other hand, back to the Core Region of the Barren Lands...

The couple, the God of Destruction and the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness, had just finished spending time on the bed and resumed their watching of the current situation. Seeing the current state of the dwarfs, Hei Anjing didn’t pity them. After all, Warden Yun and Former Elf King Vega had given them a chance to survive. Due to their arrogance, they had not only almost caused the extermination of their race but also caused their kingdom to fall.

Ye Xiajie while laying beside his beloved also described the state of the Dwarf Race and said, ”The Dwarf King had fallen? They didn’t seek or accept the protection of the beastmen?”

”Their foolish pride had caused them their own ruins. They should have just accepted being annexed rather than having such an end. No matter how much the dwarf race regrets it, it is already too late,” said Hei Anjing.

He checked on the other race that is affected by the chaos in the city and saw the group lead by the elf called Vera.

”This one is smarter than those little people. He knew how to remove their traces, utilized their speed and terrain also using their elementals to detect presences. This is good.” The God of Destruction commented.

The Sovereign God of Void and Darkness noticed something and pointed it out.

He said, ”Hm? If this continues I think the Dwarf King and this Elf called Vera will clash. Do you think they will fight?”

”Even if they did, there is no chance of the dwarfs to win. The ones who can fight from their group are too few while the ones from Elf Vera’s side were all elven warriors and summoners.” Hei Anjing said.

Ye Xiajie said, ”Even if the dwarfs are that blinded by rage, the Dwarf King shouldn’t. Either way, if they continue to waste time, they will be caught by the humans. Are you still thinking that there is something wrong with this human marshal?”

”Yes. But without him making a move that is against the cosmos, I am unable to move him too easily,” said Hei Anjing. ”Since that is the case we can only watch. Moreover, once the children were sent to fight at the borders the real plot of this world would unfold.”

Back to the ruins of the alliance city...

The once boisterous and wealthy city of alliance was now like an abandoned land full of broken buildings, houses and roads. Scattered around were debris, rocks and even dead bodies. The bodies were so badly destroyed that one can hardly recognize which race they come from.

As the small group led by the Dwarf King Garan passes through the area, the left behind skeletons and bones scattered by the road mixing with the scent of blood and rotting flesh made them all frown from this uncomfortable feeling. They had been hiding underground for too long and such change was something they didn’t expect.

They thought that after they had gone into hiding that the city above them would restore to their former glory after the dwarf race and elven race were eliminated from the alliance. They also didn’t expect the existence of hidden traitors was not for them making a move during the chaos within the city they wouldn’t even know they had existed.

Now most of these traitors had once again hidden within the human race. Those from a different race run back to Barren Land to look for their lords. Right now, all the dwarf race knew about the city had stopped the day before they returned to the underground kingdom. Now seeing the devastating scenes on the surface, they had a feeling of wanting to return underground.

At least when they live underground, despite the lack of food there is no need to worry about the enemies. Unfortunately, their hidden kingdom was still found and now had become a fallen one.

Dwarf King Garan upon observing the situation in the area, everything that they see made him extremely uncomfortable. There is also a feeling of urgency within his heart as if telling him that the current situation will not always stay this peaceful. There is always one person who yearns for cruelty and all.

As for the surviving soldiers from the group that attacked the underground kingdom of the dwarf race, they immediately returned to the military headquarters to report about the destruction of the dwarf kingdom. After learning of the interference of an Elemental Emperor, Marshal Gu Ying didn’t look surprised. It was as if he had longed to expect this.

”The remnants of the dwarf race can barely hide themselves. Find them and kill them. Eliminate them as soon as possible. After we are done with them, we can start with a plan to force those half-human, half-beasts to come out where they are hiding. It is only when the other races are gone that the sole ruler of this land will be the human race. Do you not want that kind of future?” The new Marshal Gu Ying said to everyone in the Military Headquarters.
