I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1982: 24.243 Sixth Violet Star - Group of Traitors

After the interference of Heri, the prophet of the beastmen race, and his mate, who is also the former elf king, Lord Vega, the new marshal, Gu Ying, had failed to summon all the students from the Taming Academy to be brought to the borderlands to fight. The prophet sacrificed some beast which is like livestock to his beastmen race and let the soldiers and warriors sign contracts with it. Most of them were successful but some also failed. However, it no longer has anything to do with Heri and Lord Vega as they already closed the walls of their ancient forest.

Lord Vega also announced, ”The children will be left in our care for a while. If you want to fetch your children, come back here after the Marshal and his people have returned to the borders.”

These words from the former elf king are clearly taunt saying that the new marshal, Gu Ying will not have the chance to sneak away the children as they were currently being protected by the beastman race. The powerless parents who were only ordinary people and had no means to protect their children were delighted by this news. But some who willingly send their children to the battlefield to gain merits were frowning. They didn’t expect that the beastmen race were even fussy towards other race’s children. Heri and Lord Vega didn’t care about them and firmly protected the children. They even told them to go by themselves and if they wanted to become a contractor then they are even willing to give some beasts away for them to sign contracts with.

The new Marshal, Gu Ying, after failing to get what he wanted had no other choice but to retreat. Only he knew what he truly planned to do to the children. The prophet must have foreseen and prevented him from taking the children away. He also cannot allow Prophet Heri to tell the others what he had seen. After all, he will be treated as a traitor as long as he had the plans to sacrifice the children to his beast to eat. It seems that the cuddly kamaitachi in his possession was never a good beast. It needs to sacrifice some children for it to heal and get stronger. Well, right now he can only make do with these adults.

After leaving with the soldiers and warriors who had recently contracted with a beast, the new marshal had sent them out for training. They need to train how to fight properly with their beast or they would be just useless in the eyes of others.

Back inside the Ancient Forest...

The children were taken care of by the tribe and were truly welcoming. In their eyes cubs of the other races is still a cub that is why the adult beastmen were so caring towards the children that their prophet and forest guardian had saved just now. After the children were sent to their temporary homes to rest, Prophet Heri and Lord Vega had started a tribe meeting. They still needed to send whatever they found out about Mu Liao and informed their leaders who were at the borderland.

The prophet, Heri, himself told that the actions of meeting his brother, the beastmen leader, Lord Huzi is a bit hard to achieve by ordinary beastmen warriors of their tribe. After all, Marshal Gu Ying’s sudden appearance to their territory is not without a meaning. It seems like he was gauging the reaction of Long Juedi and them. After seeing the death of Mu Liao, the uneasiness in the heart of Marshal Gu Ying didn’t disappear. There is even the reaction of Long Juedi that day. Even though the child intentionally tried to mask his reaction. As young and as inexperienced as Long Juedi, his instinctively fear cannot be fully controlled.

That’s why Marshal Gu Ying felt something had gone wrong on the day Mu Liao was executed. It’s just that he was also unsure what is the reason for his anxiety. There is also the fact that his beast needs to be fed and used this to gauge the reaction of the beastmen race. As expected, the reaction of the beastmen race towards him has changed. They become vigilant. There is also the fact that one of them can see through the future. So his identity as a traitor is most likely exposed to the beastmen race.

After leaving the territory of the beastman which is the ancient forest.

Marshal Gu Ying immediately but secretly summoned who was like him. This is done without anyone from the other races knowing about it.

”What have you gathered us for, Gu Ying?”

”Don’t you know how careless you are for summoning us like this?!”

”I don’t want to become the next Mu Liao.”

”That useless, crazy brat! How can he be so greedy that he was caught by those two princes from the beastmen races.”

”The beastmen race is too sensitive to scent and auras. That’s why I always avoid meeting them.”

”We should be at least thankful that those two annoying princes and the two heroes are not around right now. Or this meeting wouldn’t have happened at all.”

”Our spies in the Killer Pavilion had been killed.”

”That is also because of the Dark Beast King living in that place.”

”It was too sensitive to malice and aura.”

”We should avoid getting near them.”

Marshal Gu Ying had allowed these people to talk among themselves first until they realized that it was him who had summoned them for a gathering. Well, he plans for some clean up this time as his identity is most likely exposed by Mu Liao.

”By the way, congratulations on becoming a marshal!”

”Congrats~”

”It was nothing,” then Marshal Gu Ying finally informed them the real reason why this impromptu meeting was happening. ”I’ve gathered everyone here today all because of one reason. It is time for me to clean up the place.”

Before everyone could react, they saw Marshal Gu Ying make a gesture with his hand and a dark, malicious wind took some lives of the people in the meeting place. Of course, not all of them were killed. The only ones who had been spared were spies like Marshal Gu Ying who willingly became the enemies of this alliance. The ones who were killed are those spies who were controlled by the Evil Beast God when in reality, they aren’t willing to become traitors. However, since their body and lives were controlled against their will, they cannot be let to live.

The people in the room were tainted by some splashing blood of their former comrades. The whole area was now silent and full of tension. It can be said that no one had expected the new Marshal, Gu Ying to make such an action. Now the rest who were still alive were all vigilantly looking at the marshal who had caused this scene.

”What the hell do you think you are doing, Gu Ying?”

”How can you kill all the puppets Master Ouroboros had created!?”

”Are you betraying Lord Ouroboros?!”

Under the scrutinizing gaze of the few survivors in the crowd, Marshal Gu Ying had remained composed. The ugly kamaitachi had appeared on his shoulders. Its arm blades were soaked in blood and its real appearance is completely hideous. This is in contrast to the appearance Lord Huzi and the Beast God, Mo Minkong had seen before. One can also see the bloodlike stone hanging on its neck. If the God of Destruction was here, he would immediately recognize that this stone is not an ordinary cosmos stone he had found before but a cosmos crystal that is a lot more powerful than a cosmos stone. Within this cosmos crystal is some kind of wisp of soul residing in it.

Marshal Gu Ying had spoken, ”Mu Liao had died. After his death, the control of Lord Ouroboros over him had disappeared. It was unknown what kind of method he had done to tell the others. One thing for sure is that the Prophet of the beastman race and the former Elf King already knew about our existence. We cannot let them inform the leader of the beastmen and the beast god at the borderland.”

”The only problem is the beast god. There is only one of him. Do we even need to be scared of this person?”

”That’s right. Our Evil Beast God is stronger than that beast god anyway!”

”You are worrying too much for nothing, Gu Ying!”

The expression of the Marshal as he looks at the others is mocking. He looked at them disdainfully as if looking at some idiotic people who don’t use their brains.

Marshal Gu Ying said, ”Who told you I am afraid of that couple? It is not them that I am worried about but their children instead.”

”Had any of you found out where the two princes of the beastmen race had gone to?”

”Where do you think the two heroes, Hunluan and An Shizhe had disappeared to?”

”It was also unknown if the leaders of the beastmen knew a way to contact them.”

”I even made sure that the last trump card of the old marshal fell into my hands and it was all wasted.”

”You should think of the possibility of those fours returning. At the very least, before they return, the beastmen race must be extinct!”
