I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1990: 24.251 Sixth Violet Star - His Answer

Finally leaving the Ancient Forest, only Prophet Heri and some Beastmen Elders see the Guardian off as he makes plans to come out. This time the elders plan to make a small door allowing the guardian and the dwarf prince to pass through the wooden wall and get out of the forest safely. Before the former elf king and the mate of the prophet take his leave, Heri had given him a communication stone which can directly contact the other stone that was with him. This is so when the guardian chooses to return the prophet would know right away and let him go back to the ancient forest.

Prophet Heri said to his beloved, ”Please remember your utmost priority is your life. This is something you should promise to me. In the face of death, forget everything, you should always put yourself first. Haerin and I are still waiting for you to come back to us.”

The former elf king, Vega, hugs his mate and bumps their foreheads together. ”I promise you. I will come back to you, Heri.”

”You should. If you don’t I will ask my brother to make the one who caused your death to pay,” when the prophet said this his eyes had fallen on the dwarf prince standing behind his mate.

This made Dwarf Prince Gallian tremble instinctively. On the other hand, the elders had some similar thoughts.

’Only at times like this that the Prophet is similar to their leader.’

Prophet Heri said to the elders, ”Please open the door, elders.”

The beastmen elders holding some kind of wand started chanting with some kind of spell. Under this spell, the wooden walls slightly trembled and a small gap was enough for a single adult figure to pass through. Once the door had been made, Lord Vega and Dwarf Prince Gallian had passed through it. Before the door closes again, Heri sees his beloved turning his head to smile at him. He felt unexpectedly uncomfortable at such a scene.

Gripping his hands tightly, Heri’s eyes lingered at the location where the door had been opened. The elders had spoken to take back the attention of their tribe’s prophet.

The elders said, ”Lord Prophet, let’s return to the village.”

”Please don’t worry about the guardian. He had the blessing of this forest and the Lord Beast God.”

”He will be back soon.”

As if convinced by the elders, Heri took one last deep breath to calm down his anxious heart. He turns around to go back to the tribe village with the rest of the elders. Before walking away, Prophet Heri whispered some unknown words only he had heard.

Somewhere out there, the God of Destruction suddenly turned his head as if he heard something. It was unknown what it was but a smile suddenly appeared at the corner of his lips.

Meanwhile at the Core Region of the Barren Land.

After the completion of the Mateship Ceremony between the Ancient God of Chaos, Lord Hunluan and the Ancient God feared by all worlds, the World Eater, Lord An Shizhe, the couple decided to return to Vearth. To be precise, they wanted to return to their own world, the Ancient Star.

The Sovereign God of Void and Darkness, Ye Xiajie asked, ”Returning ahead of time to the upper realms? You don’t plan to get involved with this world anymore, Father-in-law, Master?”

”We had already repaid everything to the Long Clan and I have no interest in that foreign alien existence. It’s better to spend more time with my other half that wastes time that had nothing to do with us.” The World Eater said. ”Also I am hungry. I plan to eat a few barren stars on the way to replenish energy.”

The God of Destruction, Hei Anjing, looked at Lord Hunluan. Even though the young man didn’t voice his question, the latter knew what he wanted to hear.

Lord Hunluan said, ”Having too many high ranked gods in a lower plane leaves pressure on it. With nothing much to do here, it’s better to go home and make some rearrangement. I haven’t completed my renovation in the Ancient Star.”

”Moreover, without us here you should be able to make your move freely. After all, you will not have to worry about us as you fight with your enemies,” said the Ancient God of Chaos.

The other gods in the area were a bit stunned by the words the Ancient God of Chaos had spoken, especially the two wardens and two systems in the area. Everyone’s eyes couldn’t help but turn to where the God of Destruction is seated.

Hei Anjing was calm as he asked, ”Since when did pops notice?”

”That Cosmos Stone you asked us to eat. That’s something that will allow us not to be contaminated by the cosmos energy of your enemies. As it is something that we can never defend against. That energy from the enemy is poison and the only way to neutralize it is by drinking your blood or to be precise by consuming the cosmos energy that our cosmos possess.”

”As the guardian, you are able to wield that energy and only through a catalyst can you share it with others. In short, your blood was just a medium. Only your blood was strong enough to hold such energy.”

”Xiao Jing’er, your enemies... Have they found a way to enter our cosmos? Are you... returning to the world beyond this cosmos?” The Ancient God of Chaos asked.

Sigh~

”Only receiving a cosmos stone once, seeing the enemy once, and seeing through the events once, Dad had already seen through the truth of this cosmos. It’s truly hard to hide things from you.” The God of Destruction said and then he asked, ”Since when?”

”The final piece I’ve been looking for to end up with this realization is your other half.” The Ancient God of Chaos said.

The Sovereign God of Void and Darkness and the World Eater looked confused. The father and son are speaking in riddles. Unless they tried their hardest to understand the hidden meanings in their conversation, it would be hard to know what they truly meant. As for the two systems they were completely out of loop. Though the two wardens had some ideas as they were imprisoned by Mu Liao with those disgusting stones, they still didn’t expect that the source of those stones that was able to weaken them was something from the enemy of their Lord Hei.

The God of Destruction looked at his other half with a smile. He then said, ”Did you meet with that Evil Beast God and learn about the deceased Dark Lord and the deceased Hell Flame Lord?”

”...” The Sovereign God of Void and Darkness who was caught by his wife as he tries to investigate things on his own.

Hei Anjing said, ”Are you wondering whether you are the reincarnation of the Dark Lord or the Hell Flame Lord?”

The thing that made Ye Xiajie anxious recently was about this as well. Now being asked by his wife face to face made him feel foolish by trying to find answers for himself.

”Does Jing’er know the answer?” asked the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness with his arms wrapped around his wife’s waist.

Hei Anjing chuckles, ”Does the answer to that matter? The one I love is you after all. Regardless of your past, who do you think you are, whether you are a guardian like me or whether you are the former leader of that side who is my enemy. I love you who is now by my side.”

Ye Xiajie didn’t expect this kind of answer. He knew his wife loves to hide things that didn’t matter much in their lives, or things that might affect their lives in a bad way. That’s why when he asked this, he expected that Hei Anjing would say things in a roundabout manner ending with nothing as an answer. His wife was the type to hide everything that is about his life and only show the happiness the two of them can share.

That’s why he didn’t know that his other half was the guardian of their cosmos or that their cosmos had always been underattacked by an outsider. So when he learned about things about the cosmos, the intruders, the death of one guardian and one enemy leader, he couldn’t help but overthink, that maybe something from that place was connected to his wife and he himself is just another reincarnation of someone. He didn’t want to be hated by his beloved and he also didn’t want to be a substitute as well.

However, what the Sovereign God of Void and Darkness didn’t know was that the original God of Destruction is just a heartless guardian. Lonely yet powerful. Even so, not even the deaths of the Dark Lord or the Hell Flame Lord was able to move this cold hearted guardian. But things seem to have gotten out of control when the Destruction Lord chooses to slumber after the deaths of the two other lords. Since then, the fates that had no connections at the beginning have become entangled afterwards.
