I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1974: 24.235 Sixth Violet Star - Dark Elves

At the borders, in the temporary office of Lord Huzi and Mo Minkong.

Gathered in the office are those who were chosen for the assassination plan to kill the beast race’s commander at nightfall. Two from the beastmen race were chosen and three from the Elven race as well. The two beastmen had no problems in doing this mission as they had their own leader to be in lead. With such a huge support, there is no need for them to fear anything even if the mission had failed.

However, the situation of the three elves in the group is different from them. They were treated even worse within their very clan and were afraid that they would be used as bait to be left behind in the mission. Moreover, they themselves considered that they were cursed and would always hide behind their cloak covering themselves from head to toe.

Now, their current leader, Lord Huzi, is asking the three of them to remove their cloaks. Even though the commander said that he is afraid or will discriminate against them, they are still terrified. They had longed to get used to others looking at them with disgust and fear in their own tribe. Since their own race treated them as such, how would those from the different race would react if they had seen their appearance.

Lord Huzi’s words didn’t comfort the three elves and instead horrified them further. Seeing them like this, he chose not to force them.

He said, ”Alright. If you don’t wish to show your face there is no need to do so. Can you explain your skills instead?”

Knowing that the King of the beastmen isn’t forcing them, the three elves were dumbfounded. Even their king and elders were just kind at first but when they saw that their affinity is a darkness, their reaction turned a whole 180. They started treating them like a cursed existence. At that time, they were forced to show themselves. But the leader of the beastmen race is different. He had no intention of forcing them. This is the first kindness they had received in years and they felt good about it.

An elf speaks up, ”Will. Will the Lord truly not be afraid of us? Can you promise not to harm us if we show our face?”

”I swore with my name. Neither I nor anyone else in this room would harm you.” Lord Huzi declared.

It was only then did the three elves look at one another and finally decide to lower their cloaks. The appearance of the three elves were as beautiful as the ordinary elves, the only difference is that one of them is blonde but her skin is dark. The other two have black hair instead of gold. Their eyes were silver instead.

The two beastmen didn’t react much. After all, they had seen silver and black hair and these are features of their leader’s family. The reason for it is because of the divine bloodline of the ninetailed silver fox in Lord Huzi’s bloodline and Beast God, Lord Mo Minkong’s unique bloodline as Chaos. They didn’t react much and calmly stared at the elves.

”They look normal. Why are they so afraid of letting people see them? Isn’t silver and black, a sacred color. Our leader and the beast god possessed such colors. Especially Prince Hei and Prince Ye, they are good looking in those colors.”

”Maybe, the elven race is too superstitious with the shade of black. They are incapable of using dark elements after all.”

The two beastmen beside the elves said. The three elves who were eavesdropping on their conversation were dumbfounded. They didn’t see the usual disdainful gaze but instead confusion. Their eyes are asking them, what is wrong with black hair, dark skin or black irises. It’s normal.

Lord Huzi is calm as well and said, ”My eldest son can control darkness elements and every time he does his irises turn dark as well like yours. Black hair is even less scary, my youngest son and mate possess the same color and they are proud of it.”

”My youngest always says, ’Do not be afraid of your own power.’. I believe that you should listen to his words at least. At the very least, your appearance will not be feared by the beastmen. The human race might feel it is unique. The dwarfs will not care as long as you give them alcohol.”

The three elves were dumbfounded at first. The next second they started bawling. After all, this is the first time they felt relief. Seeing no eyes that showed contempt, the three elves couldn’t help but cry. Because of the fear they had experienced in their own race, they felt that they weren’t worthy of leaving their house or territory. Who would have thought that their own race couldn’t accept them but the other race didn’t fear them at all.

A life full of hiding and eyes of disdain. They had gotten used to it. But to say they weren’t in pain is also wrong. After all, they are living, who would be able to bear such pain. The fact that most elves like them had killed themselves for this reason left trauma in them. Now the feeling of being accepted gave them a feeling of freedom and relief. Their cries resound in the room as if using it to let out all of their grievances in life.

Lord Huzi and the others let them cry. The two kind hearted beastmen felt bad for the three elves and patted their backs and heads in comfort. This is the first time they had seen those elves who look at them as half beasts full of disdain to cry like this. The beastmen do not care much how the elves see them. After all, they had their own tribe who openly accepted them and treated them as family. There is also the overprotective young prince, Hei Anjing, who had sent countless of elves to the hospital every time he heard them speaking bad things about their race.

With such a protector, the discrimination from the elves shown in the open had longed to stop. What can they do anyway? Their current king couldn’t even defeat their two princes. The one who is stronger is the winner and the loser can only comply.

It took awhile for the three elves to calm down. Even though they took their time crying, Lord Huzi didn’t get angry. After the three elves calmed down they lowered their heads towards the commander and the other two beastmen. They thanked them for willing to accept them as it is.

Lord Huzi said, ”It’s okay. I don’t mind. If you truly do not wish to stay in your clan you can just buy in the alliance city itself. If you gathered enough merits in this mission you should be able to buy one. Moreover, those who gain merits in this war, your ruler will not easily touch you as you are protected by the laws of the city.”

This is something the three elves didn’t know about. After learning about it, they were delighted. This is an opportunity that will pull them out of hell. As long as they complete all their missions while they are still at the frontlines they will be able to leave the land of elves and live in the alliance city instead. The joyous expression on their faces made their already beautiful faces even more good looking. The two kind beastmen from before couldn’t help but blush innocently. Anyone who has seen a beautiful smile can be mesmerized.

After calming down the elves, Lord Huzi started explaining the mission. The six of them were to sneak into the barren lands and find the barracks where the beasts gathered. Once they find where the beast commander is hiding, they are to immediately kill him. Of course, during the mission they must hide their tracks, scent and breathing.

Beasts are the most sensitive towards scent. On their side, the scent of the other races is akin to delicious delicacies. That’s why they act like savages wanting to rip them apart. Due to the lack of resources in the Barren Land, they eat almost anything to survive.

After their group finalized their mission, the six of them came out of the walls with Mo Minkong sending them off himself. Lord Huzi was holding his mate’s hand and comforted his beloved.

”Don’t worry. I will put myself in danger. I will be back soon.” Lord Huzi said.

Beast God Mo Minkong said, ”Be careful. Even if you fail, there is no need to worry. Just come back alive.”

”I will. I promise to come back,” said Lord Huzi.

The two commanders hug each other regardless of the others in the area. The two beastmen were used to this. After all, the beastmen race is open to relationship and would show open PDA especially in the tribe. That’s why those who are singles would ignore them and just train to keep themselves busy.

Beast God Mo Minkong said to the others, ”Be careful. Do your best but keep your life the top priority.”

”Yes, Lord Beast God!”

Then they finally set out while using the darkness to hide their presence and sneak at the location where most of the beast gathers to complete their mission.
