I Love Destroying Worlds' Plot

Chapter 1994: 24.255 Sixth Violet Star - Blood Vine Curse

The kingdom of dwarves. The original habitat of the dwarves was said to be located underground, but most dwarves deny it. However, reality struck at the former elf king, Lord Vega, when he saw the huge kingdom before him. Just based on its size, structure and how wide this place is, clearly, this is a kingdom that had existed for a long time. Much longer than the alliance city aboveground. These dwarfs were obviously living underground yet they collectively denied it. It seems their races had decided to hide the fact that their original habitat is located underground to avoid their enemies from finding them.

With Dwarf Prince Gallian leading, Lord Vega walks through the street full of dwarves. There are a lot of glares from the surrounding area but with the prince beside an elf like Lord Vega no one dares to make a move openly. Moreover, even if they had made an action towards the former elf king, it would be useless. After all, this elf had the protection of an emperor class elemental.

Murmurs were all around as Lord Vega walks through the street that looks like a marketplace.

”What the hell is an elf doing here!?”

”That’s the race that harmed our king.”

”They shouldn’t be allowed to come here! The King doesn’t learn from his mistake!”

”Shss~ don’t you see Prince Gallian leading the elf. He might be a bigshot.”

”Watch your mouth, your ass!”

”Wait. This elf looks familiar. Isn’t he that one?!”

”Which one?”

”Heretic of the Elven race!”

”You mean the one who married the prophet!”

”That’s him? Then does that mean he had nothing to do with the elves now?”

”He lives in an ancient forest. Of course, he got nothing to do with those traitorous bastards!”

”If he is from the ancient forest, does that mean Prince Gallian had met the beastmen race?!”

”That’s good news right?”

The former elf king wasn’t offended by the glare following, the glares would ease after someone recognized him as the guardian of the Ancient Forest where the beastmen race lives. His identity was also quite well known. Not only was he a former king, he had also left his race because he had fallen in love with a beastman. This beastman becomes his mate and unexpectedly is one of the royalty within the beastmen race. The Prophet of the Beastmen.

Such a special standing is considered as an elder at least in the other race. His wife is a special individual that is capable of peering to some places in the future. Moreover, none of the prophet’s guesses had been wrong. It was mostly due to the prophecy from this individual that the alliance city was made. But for some unknown reason the sudden chaos within the city was something he failed to foresee.

The dwarf prince had brought the former elf king to the castle at the back of the territory.

”Prince Gallian, Lord Vega... You’ve arrived. Please go ahead inside. The king, and her highness, Princess Shika are waiting for you.”

The guards were already informed about the arrival of Lord Vega which slightly surprised the former elf king. After all, he hasn’t seen the young prince informing someone about his arrival to this kingdom.

As if sensing his confusion, the hidden Elemental King Greene whispered something to his ears which is something only he can understand.

The elemental emperor that rules the wind said, {Master, someone was watching us as soon as we passed through that stone door. It seems they had let one to watch over our arrival in this kingdom.}

{Moreover, looking at these dwarves... It seems things aren’t as simple as they look.}

Lord Vega upon hearing his elemental’s words, no longer questioned how the people of this castle seemed to know when they had arrived. With the prince leading the way, the two of them easily reached the throne hall where Dwarf King Garan and Dwarf Princess Shika.

A sickly Dwarf King, Princess Shika and her other prince brothers had welcomed their arrival.

Dwarf King Garan spoke up with his eyes lingering longer on the former elf king. After all, his attendance to this hall meant that his youngest son had truly spoken with the beastmen race. Lord Vega is someone as part of the beastmen tribe’s royal family. His mate is the only brother of the current leader of the beastmen race.

Dwarf King Garan nods at his youngest son making Gallian happy as he got his father recognition. After a while, the princes and princess were asked to leave, with the throne hall having only Dwarf King Garan and the former elf king, Lord Vega.

Once the youngsters had taken their leave, the Dwarf King stood up from his throne and stood before Lord Vega. Out of nowhere he knelt before the former elf king which the latter didn’t seem surprised.

On his way there, though the kingdom looked boisterous like any kind of marketplace seen, they couldn’t hide the fact that most of these dwarves are barely living. They are malnourished to the point of seeing their bone structures, yellowish skin and lethargic eyes.

Dwarf King Garan said, ”I beg the lord to please save our race! We can barely hold on! The lack of food is one thing, the wounded warriors don’t have enough medicines and the pressure of the situation has led our race to this state.”

Sigh~

”Don’t do this. Just that fact that I was allowed to come here meant that we, the beastmen tribe, are willing to help your race. Stand up,” said the former elf king, Vega said.

This is the truth that the young dwarf prince Gallian didn’t tell the beastmen race when he had first arrived in the ancient forest. But none from that race is blind, they had seen the current state of the young dwarf prince having a not so good complexion or his cheekbones being exposed by his thinness. They just pretended not to expose the young prince.

However, the preparation of those who had arranged the things that Vega had brought was filled with rations like food, seeds and anything that can help feed thousands of people. The only reason Lord Vega was able to bring this much was due to the abundance of resources within the ancient forest and the fact that compared to the other races, the beastmen race’s population is too small. Their territory is rich in all kinds of resources too. Well, there is also the fact that Hei Anjing loves cooking and a few greenhouses and farms were created within the forest to accommodate the wants of the young prince.

With the help of the space technology unique only to their race, Lord Vega was able to bring enough food to feed everyone in the dwarf kingdom.

Helping the old dwarf king up, Lord Vega realized that this old king had a strong scent of blood on him. After helping King Garan up, Vega opened the clothes of the Dwarf king and saw a blood soaked bandage on his chest. This wound is clearly non-fatal yet the blood doesn’t seem to stop bleeding at all.

The moment he saw the wound, Former Elf King Vega knew what kind of spell had hit him. It is one of the deadly curses only the Elven Royalty can use.

Blood Vine Curse. It’s a curse that created a malicious seed on one’s target. It would root on the target’s body slowly eating its flesh and blood for nourishment. It’s allows the target to feel the pain of something eating him from the inside and slowly dies under this torture. It is one of the forbidden spells the elven race possessed. Most of the time this spell was used on criminals to torture them and only the elven royalty can removed it.

Lord Vega with an ugly expression on his face murmurs, ”Blood Vine Curse! Why do you have something like this in your body?! Now, I believe that the one who has attacked you is Valerian! That imbecile!”

”Don’t move! I’m going to remove the seed in you!”

He laid down the dwarf king on the floor and shouted, ”I know you guys are watching. Call the doctors of your race. We need blood transfusion. Bring a lot of people of the same blood type as the king. I will not allow only one to donate blood! Hurry!”

The sounds of hurried footsteps were heard from the outside. By the time the doctors and blood donors had arrived, Lord Vega was about to pull out the blood vine seed in Garan’s chest. The scene of a seed floating in air with a wiggling root terrified them. Lord Vega didn’t hesitate to destroy the seed and use nature’s energy to heal Garan’s wound on his chest.

”The wounds have healed but he still lacks blood. Move him to a proper room after cleaning up and begin blood transfusion.”

”Also, I want to speak with the one who handles the logistics of this country as well as those who can make the other dwarf listen to him after the king.” Lord Vega said.

The dwarfs looked at one another and finally two old dwarfs that seemed to handle the following affairs that Lord Vega had requested steps in. After seeing what the former elf king had done to save their king, the whole dwarven race now trusts Lord Vega.
