New Age Of Summoners

Ajax thought that his right hand would come back as soon as he left the battle tower; however, when he saw that his right hand was still missing, he became anxious and didn’t understand anything.

’Wait wait wait. Maybe it will take some time to come back,’

Even though Ajax thought like that, he felt that his right hand was not coming back.

’Only my spirit consciousness form entered the battle tower, right? Then why is my hand not coming back,’

If any participant dies in the battle tower, they would be just tired of something and as soon as their spirit consciousness was filled with the essence of nature, their tiredness would disappear.

However, in Ajax’s case, it was not working and his right hand was still missing in the real world which made him unable to remain calm.

’That’s right! That Elegant walker lady must have done something to me that made the injuries in the battle tower transfer to my body,’

Thinking back to the cunning smile on the hall guardian’s face, Ajax quickly related his present condition to the Elegant walker from his last cleared hall.

As for why he thought of the injuries transferred from his spirit consciousness form to the real body because he felt just like how he felt in the battle tower. The same amount of tiredness, same injures.

’This is not my spirit consciousness form for sure,’

There was not even a small doubt that his current body was in the spirit consciousness form because he could tell the difference between his real body and the spirit consciousness form.

”Am I going to live with a single hand for my entire life?”

Soon, Ajax started worrying about his right hand and became demotivated as though he had lost all hope in his life along with the right hand.

”Rewards? Are they even more valuable than my right hand?”

Ajax’s previous excitement regarding the rewards was nowhere to be seen and he didn’t even bother to check the rewards he gained from the battle tower.

Soon, some kind of black smoke came out of nowhere and it started covering the depressed Ajax and within no time, he was completely covered by the black smoke.

’Why I became greedy in the battle tower and sacrificed my right hand to the monstrous brown lizard?’

’With a single hand, how can I take revenge for the massacre in the Silver Orphanage?’

’There must be some kind of pill or medicine that can generate my right hand. I should start looking for it,’

’Even if there is some kind of medicine, it will be not an easy thing to get with my single hand,’

For some reason, Ajax started growing more and more depressed with each passing second and he was almost reaching the point where he lost all hope in his life.

’What is the use of living if I am crippled?’

’Maybe, I should kill myself instead of dying in hands of others,’

Soon, he took out his inheritance sword from the inventory and decided to kill himself.

...…

In the demon world,

”So, we failed once again in invading the human world?”

A muscular demon with short horns asked an old demon without much expression on his face.

”Yes, it’s an utter defeat and I still don’t understand why our demon lord suddenly stopped the war and didn’t send the last batch of our demon warriors. They would have surely taken almost all of the mercenaries from the mercenary guild,”

The old demon with long horns clenched his fist as he replied to the muscular demon.

”No need to worry too much old general, we will wage once again after forming some strong demon warriors,”

Even though it was an utter defeat for the sixth demon king and he lost 20 percent of his demon army in the earlier invasion, the muscular demon said that they could always take revenge against the humans.

”Damn it. Stupid fool. We have much bigger problems at hand and you only think about revenge?”

However, the old demon called as general became very angry at the muscular demon’s words and stood up from his seat before hitting the muscular demon.

’Old general, what did I do for you to become this angry?’

The muscular demon didn’t understand why the old general suddenly became angry. Nevertheless, he took the attack from the old demon and asked him with an anxious tone.

”Let me say what we need to worry about now.” The old demon suppressed his anger when he saw how anxious the muscular demon had become and continued saying, ”The demon apostle left from our castle without saying a thing. Do you know what that means? He is very dissatisfied with our invasion.”

”So?”

The muscular demon didn’t understand what the old demon was saying and asked with a puzzled look on his face.

”Stupid fool. Brainless idiot. Why didn’t you grow something in your head instead of growing muscles?”

When he heard the muscular demon’s question, the old demon’s suppressed anger unconsciously came out.

”It means that the first demon king will not support us when we fight for the region re-allocation tournament which will be held in a couple of years,”

Nevertheless, the old demon explained regarding the consequences of their failed invasion.

”Huh? So, you are worried about the region re-allocation tournament. There is no need to worry about anything. I have already prepared some finest warriors for that tournament,”

The muscular demon slowly said to the old demon, who raised his brows when he heard those words.

”Sigh...even with the finest warriors from you, the old demon kings will definitely not play nice and for that, we need the support of the first demon king,” the old demon shook his head for a moment before continuing, ”Anyway, my biggest worry is from the other demons kings, who might wage a war against us at any time.”

After finishing his words, the old demon looked into the distance and remained silent making the muscular demon’s fists clench in anger.
