New Age Of Summoners

Even though he knew the human races did a lot of things in the past; however, Elder Boron never explained those events in detail and left them for him to discover on his own.

So, he asked her as he always wanted to know about the events of the past.

”First complete the three trials and you can ask me any three questions,”

’Swoosh’

As soon as she finished her words, she disappeared from her place.

’There must be other reasons for why she hates the human race,’

Evidently, it was very clear for Ajax to guess with the disgusted look on her face. So, he thought there might be something more to her story.

’Anyway, I can ask her as long as I finished these trials,’

Soon, he focused on the longbow and quiver full of arrows to complete the three trials of the hall.

’Ding,

 Item name:- Nameless walker’s bow

 Grade:- Heaven

Description:- Made by the sweat and blood of the Elegant Walker’s race weaponsmith.

Note:- It contains a very weak soul that hates humans to its core.

As he focused on the bow, he got the system notification which informed about the bow that made Ajax bitterly shook his head.

’Even a weapon made by them hates human to its core,’

Ajax didn’t know whether he should cry or laugh after checking the information on the bow and he didn’t even bother to check information on the Quiver anymore.

”I know you hate humans, but..I..I…,”

Ajax didn’t even know what he had to say for the bow to accept him as its master as he started stammering in his words.

’What a fool! I still don’t understand why it chose him as his master. If he can’t even manage to tame a weak weapon soul in the bow, then how will he complete those things,’

The beautiful woman, who was observing Ajax while sitting on a tree in the distance, shook her head as though she was dissatisfied with something.

’As long as he doesn’t impress me, I will not complete my halls in this battle tower,’ Soon, she swore to herself in making things difficult for Ajax.

...

”Ufff”

As for Ajax, he stopped stammering and took a deep breath before calming himself down.

”I don’t know the reason why you hate humans and I don’t say whether they are right or wrong. And the most important is I will not say I am kind or other bullshit. My aim is to become powerful. Very powerful enough to save me and my family and friends from those who wanted to harm us,”

After taking a deep breath, Ajax spoke in a single breath that made both the weak weapon soul and the beautiful hall guardian flinch a little before returning to normal.

”So, if you join me, we will become stronger together. Moreover, I will help you heal your injuries,”

While saying that, Ajax extended his hands to hold the longbow.

From the system’s information regarding the longbow, Ajax could guess, it was a very powerful weapon that was damaged in some fight. So, he had confidence in improving its grade. So, he promised to help it become powerful.

’Now, please don’t resist my spirit imprint,’

So far, everything went as he expected and only one thing was left and that was to place his spirit imprint on the weapon soul.

’Huh?’

However, for some reason, the weapon soul was rejecting his spirit imprint which made him frown.

’Wait a second! System, are you showing everything about this nameless walker’s bow?’

All of a sudden, he asked the system as he felt something was wrong with it.

’Ding,

Yes. Only after it accepts you as its master, the complete information will be shown to you.

Soon, the system replied with an affirmative answer to Ajax.

’That’s it. Then I have a way to convince it,’

Soon, Ajax became excited as though he was fully confident in finishing the first trial.

...….

At the mercenary guild,

While Ajax was clearing one hall after another in the battle tower, the surroundings of the mercenary guild were always bustling with many mercenaries and the normal cultivators that would come to place some missions for the mercenaries; however, at the moment there was not even a single person.

Inside the mercenary guild,

”The royal family and other top powers of the Zrochester province will be arriving today. So, the royal family passed a decree to the entire province that except for the top powers and a few allowed mercenaries, no one should visit the guild today,”

The guild master sipped his tea while saying about the reason behind the silence around the mercenary guild to the five old cultivators.

”I don’t like what they did,”

”I agree with you, Seward,”

As soon as they heard the old guild master’s words both Seward and Ramon revealed their displeasure with the royal family’s actions.

”No one here likes the actions of the royal family; however, let’s see what they are going to do by giving a decree to not enter the premises of the mercenary guild for an entire day,”

However, the veiled matriarch, Sandra calmed them down with her words.

”If they don’t apologize and compensate our mercenary guild and the mercenaries in it, I will show them how much I have improved my battle prowess,”

Ramon and Esmund smiled while saying almost similar words.

”So, all the top powers are coming here?”

The most anxious one among the ’Six Vagrant Cultivators’ Elex, the soul handler asked the guild master.

”Except for the combat king sect, which stopped interfering in the province’s affairs, every other top power informed me about their arrival to the mercenary guild,”

The guild master calmly explained about Elek’s question before looking at Rulf and ordered, ”Take care of all the arrangements and I don’t want anything to go wrong today. Do you understand?”

”Understood, guild master,”

Rulf revealed a cunning smile on his face before leaving all the six powerful cultivators alone in the mall hall of the mercenary guild.
