New Age Of Summoners

Inside the mercenary guild,

All the main hall of the mercenary guild was completely filled with the leaders of the top powers of the Zrochester province.

From the royal family, the King Stephen Draton along with commander Reid and his old minister sat opposite the guild master.

As for the side, it was filled with the guild master’s old friend towards his end and at the king’s end, the chairs on the long table were occupied by the sect leaders of the fire sword sect and the assassin sect along with the family heads of the five great families.

And the remaining chairs were filled with the two or three elders from each of the top powers of the Zrochester province.

”Guild master, how have you been?”

Even though the hall was completely filled, it was completely silent and no one even dared to whisper with one other.

The silence was broken by the King as he asked the guild master.

”Just healing my mercenary guild from the betrayals of the top powers,”

There was no expression on his face as the guild master replied to King Stephen.

”...”

Including the King, the rest of the people in the hall were speechless by the words whereas the guild master’s friends were withholding their laughter.

”I will not waste any more time as I have enough things to worry about,”

The sect leader of the Assassin sect, Gerg said in a hurried tone.

He was very thin with wrinkles all over his face and he looked just like a skeleton.

Moreover, his wrinkled face was pale as though he was worried about something.

”What happened to you Sect leader Gerg? You look like you are horrified by something,”

Looking at Gerg’s face, the guild master asked him regarding his health condition.

”Nothing. I am very sorry for not sending the reinforcement when you need them. As a compensation, I will give you a rank 5 medicinal herb ’Fatigue bay leaf’,”

He shook his head as he apologized to the guild master as he took out a jade box and opened it.

”Fatigue bay leaf?”

”Looks like the assassin sect really wants this thing to be over soon,”

”Maybe, they really have other problems at hand. I wonder what troubled them, the great top sect of the Zrochester province,”

When they saw the item inside the jade box, everyone was shocked and started muttering to one another regarding the assassin sect.

”Sect leader Gerg, are you really sure you want to gift the ingredient for the bravery of the mercenary guild?”

The guild master didn’t take the jade bok from Gerg’s hands, instead, he changed the earlier words of the assassin sect leader and asked him.

”Yes. Your mercenary guild and its mercenaries deserve much more than this rank 5 medical ingredients. Moreover, I will give 10 drops of the dark magical essence from my sect’s headquarters,”

The sect leader Gerg acted very generous with his compensation and asked the guild master, ”So, can I take my leave now?”

As soon as he finished his words, the sect leader Gerg stood up.

”Thanks, sect leader Gerg for your valuable gifts. You can go and take care of your troubles,”

The guild master didn’t stop Gerg as he kept both the jade box and the small bottle with black liquid into his space ring.

’Shameless. All the mercenaries are shameless,’

This was the only thought in Gerg’s head as he and the other members of the assassin sect left the mercenary guild.

’I have to do something with the communication with the headquarters; otherwise, once the other sects and the royal families know about that, my sect will face many difficulties,’

A few days ago, the sect leader Gerg came out of his seclusion and found out that the communication between the headquarters and his sect had been cut-off which was troubling him. So, he wanted to go back to the sect as soon as possible and do something to get back the support of the headquarters.

That was the reason why he didn’t hesitate to give a rank 5 alchemy ingredient and 10 drops of dark magical essence.

…..

’Even though I don’t have any use with the rank 5 alchemy ingredient. It will be a great use when I find a rank 5 alchemist,’ The guild master silently thought in his head as he continued, ’As for the dark magical essence, it will be very useful for Ramon and others who had dark elemental beasts.’

The guild master preferred peace over war. So, he wanted the other top powers not to use his principles for their use.

That was why he summoned his old friends to indirectly tell them he was angry with them.

”What does Gerg think of himself? Does he think we don’t have any thing to do?”

”Yes, let’s finish this thing and we also leave from here,”

As soon as the assassin sect left the mercenary guild, except for the royal family, all other top powers showed their dissatisfaction.

”Let me tell you one thing,”

When he saw the dissatisfaction looks on everyone, the guild master continued in a low but serious tone, ”No one invited you here and you are the ones that willingly came here. So, just say the reason for your visit and get lost from here.”

There was no fear on the guild master’s face when he said those words and at the end, he looked at Stephen before saying, ”Isn’t that right, your majesty?”

’Holy heck...the guild master is damn cool to say those words to the top powers of this province,’

Rulf, Edmond and Udo felt like the hairs on their hands as he curiously looked at the King and other’s faces wondering what they were going to reply to those words.

’Damn it...how dare a mercenary to say that to my sect leader?’

’No one has disrespected my family head...so far. I will kill him as soon as my family head orders me,’

All the cultivators that came with their sect and families angrily looked at the guild master and waited for their leaders to give them a signal.
