New Age Of Summoners

Since he had given 3000 units of the essence of nature to the system to know about two things, he waited for the system to send the notification.

’Ding,

Armoured Titans’ weakness lies on the centre of their heads which is guarded by their crown; however, the host’s ghost fox attacked the centre of the head in close proximity with a strong skill that can ignore all the defences from the crown.

’Ding,

So, the armoured titan fell to the ground.

He didn’t wait for much time before a couple of system notifications appeared in front of him.

”Their weakness is the centre of their heads?”

Ajax was shocked with the new information he got about the armoured titan and wondered, ’How did Ghost know about its weakness?’

Since the ghost fox was calm from the beginning to end, Ajax assumed that the ghost fox knew about the weakness and that was the reason for its calmness in the battle tower.

”Let’s see,”

Nevertheless, he stopped thinking about it and focused on the holographic screen in front of him as he watched what was going on in the battle tower.

”Damn you, cunning fox. I will take care of you once you come to the second level of the battle tower,”

The Armoured titan that was knocked down onto the ground didn’t die instantly as he gave some serious warning to the ghost fox in front of his face.

’Snore’

However, the ghost fox once again fell asleep and intentionally snored as though it was listening to some non-sense.

”Youu”

The Armoured titan’s anger increased to a high-level; however, he was not in a position to attack the ghost fox which was mocking him with its action, because his body had started disappearing.

”I will remember you, the first hall you will challenge in the second layer of the battle tower will be my own hall,”

There were the last words of the armoured titan before disappearing from the hall.

’Ding,

Congratulations to the host’s contracted spirit beast for successfully clearing the ’Armoured Titan’s Hall’ in a single attack.

’Ding,

Gained a special reward that is specific to the ghost fox.

Soon, a couple of system notifications appeared in front of Ajax as he revealed a small smile.

There was no surprise or shock when he saw the second system notification because he was accustomed to those types of notifications.

’So, clearing the halls in a single attack will give a special reward for everyone,’

After receiving three special rewards back to back from the battle tower, Ajax got another revelation about the battle tower.

”Also, what do his last words mean?”

”Is he saying that his true body is in the second layer of the battle tower?”

”Does that mean other hall guardians must also have their own halls in the second layer of the battle tower, right?”

Thinking back to the last words of the Armoured titan gave Ajax a ton of questions about the battle tower.

’Ding,

Host, with time, you will learn everything about the system and the battle tower. So, please focus on the present and increase your strength as much as possible.

Amidst his ton of questions, Ajax received a system notification, which said its usual words of increasing the strength first.

’Although I hate it when the system keeps me in dark regarding these things, what it said has some truth to it,’

Ajax silently thought in his head before looking at the battle tower’s projection in front of him.

’Ding,

Do you want your contracted spirit beast to challenge another hall?

As usual, the system asked him whether to continue or terminate the next challenge of his ghost fox.

”Go ahead and let it challenge as many halls as possible,”

Since he had greatly underestimated the power of his ghost fox, Ajax wanted to see its true power as gave permission to challenge other halls.

’Swoosh’

As soon as he allowed the ghost fox to challenge the other halls, the small ghost fox disappeared from its place and appeared in front of a medium-size hall door.

’Creak’

’Tap’ ’Tap’

Just like earlier, the ghost fox opened the hall door without touching the door and hopped into the hall.

’Should I be happy about its calmness or sad for its overconfidence?’

Ajax bitterly shook his head as he felt that his ghost fox was acting over-confident.

’Let his taste a defeat. I hope it will take the battle tower with some seriousness,’ Even though the battle tower was just to practice and improve their battle strength, Ajax wanted his summons to fight with some seriousness; otherwise, there was no point in fighting in the battle tower.

So, he thought it’s better for the ghost fox to taste the defeat.

Inside the battle tower,

’Hehe’

As soon as the ghost fox entered the new hall, he heard an eerie smile which made him stop in his tracks for a moment before continuing to hop once again.

’Whoosh’

’Slash’

All of a sudden, a black shadow appeared in front of the ghost fox and waved a long scythe at it.

’Swosh’

Just like before, the ghost fox used to teleport to disappear from his place and appeared a couple of steps back.

’Hehe...not bad not bad,’

’Swoosh’

When the silhouette saw that the ghost fox dodge its scythe with ease, it spoke in an eerie voice; however, as soon as he finished his words, he disappeared from his places and appeared behind the ghost fox just like how the ghost fox teleported earlier.

’Slash’

’Disappear’

Once again the same set of attacks repeated and the ghost dodged the incoming slash and appeared in the air and elegantly stood on the scythe with a pose.

’You...are interesting,’

Looking at the ghost fox’s elegant pose on its scythe, the shadow figure replied to the ghost fox.

’But...you can win against me by continuously dodging my attacks,’

’Swosh’

Before he could finish his words, another scythe appeared out of thin air and slashed at the ghost fox.
