I AM the Football Star

Speaking of the Champions League group stage, this year’s quarter-final draw was a disgrace.

UEFA was ridiculed by many for rigging the draw.

These days, almost no major institution’s draw, evaluation, voting, or lottery is entirely clean.

Maybe not everyone is rigged, but key positions, awards, and matchups surely are manipulated.

It’s rare to see such obvious exposure like this from UEFA.

This year’s UEFA leadership is truly amateurish.

This year’s Champions League quarter-finals: Real Madrid, Barcelona, Chelsea, Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Juventus, San Remo.

Guess who got drawn against each other first?

Real Madrid VS San Remo!

Desperate, right?

No doubt, Old Buddha must have spent a lot to snag the San Remo gift package.

This year, Real Madrid is determined to win the Champions League.

Moreover, they are recognized worldwide as a super team this year.

Although in the last round of the Champions League, their main central forward Lima relapsed due to an old injury and had to leave the game, and their French midfielder Claude Joseph also had to leave due to an injury during fierce competition with Perrotta and is unlikely to return to the pitch soon.

But for Real Madrid, San Remo is still a piece of cake.

Additionally... in the league, even without these two generals, Real Madrid continued to sweep through La Liga without stopping.

After Lima was out due to injury, Real Madrid’s coach moved Izalelt to the central forward position, with Real Madrid’s heir Enriquez on the left, and Portuguese king Madeira on the right.

Zidane appears at his familiar position of attacking midfielder, without having to adjust for Izalelt.

4213!

Who knew this formation perfectly solved the adaptation issue between Zidane and Izalelt.

Real Madrid’s offensive power hasn’t dropped one bit.

So, it’s still a ”full power horse”!

Moreover, Real Madrid VS San Remo, not only ensures Real Madrid has a smooth ride, but also provides a strong topic.

That is the battle between the old and new Izalelts!

Lu Yang, after Izalelt left for La Liga, was exalted by the current Serie A as a superstar no less than Izalelt!

Last season, Lu Yang was also an attacking midfielder, sharing the same position as Izalelt, so although their styles differ completely, fans compared them at that time.

It’s reminiscent of when people compared Lu Yang, who was still in Italian D Division and Third Division, with Carrel, which was more about hyping up Lu Yang, and Carrel and Izalelt didn’t resist Lu Yang’s ”clout-chasing”.

Because privately, they have a good relationship with Lu Yang.

This year, after ascending to Serie A, Lu Yang directly tied the single-season goal record for Serie A.

Although it’s uncertain if he can sustain this, based on this season’s performance, he’s already comparable to Izalelt and Gutierrez in Serie A.

UEFA arranged the matchups, usually, the quarter-finals are the most exciting.

Because there’s more variety in the quarter-finals, allowing for more stories.

While for the semi-finals... to put it bluntly, many teams fundamentally can’t reach the semi-finals; the chance factor is too big. Even historically strong teams have been upset in the quarter-finals, failing to reach the semi-finals, and it’s not uncommon.

That’s why arrangements are generally made in the quarter-finals.

Additionally, the Champions League schedule gets very exciting at the semi-finals; no more stories are needed.

This is what people say: if you’re strong enough, withstand all the initial manipulations, and you’ll get a fair showdown opportunity in the end.

There’s no absolute fairness in this world; fairness must be fought for with your strength.

But why was it previously said that San Remo’s Champions League quarter-final opponent is Paris Saint-Germain?

This relates to the forthcoming draw.

Next... the second group, Bayern Munich VS... San Remo!

The audience was in uproar!

Fans watching the live draw were stunned.

Is San Remo... marrying two husbands?

Is it that popular?

Upon this draw, Old Buddha couldn’t hold on.

RNM!

Refund!

Soon, a representative stepped up to simply explain it as a system failure.

But clearly, this didn’t convince the public.

This situation is sure to escalate further.

But the immediate priority is to redraw.

After all, billions of eyes are watching worldwide!

Thus, in the re-draw for the quarter-finals, Real Madrid drew a team from their same league, Barcelona.

El Clásico!

Lots to look forward to!

In the footage, Real Madrid’s chairman Lord Buddha was full of smiles.

Does Real Madrid see any difference between San Remo and Barcelona now?

Clearly not!

They’ve already beaten Barça three times this season!

Including the Champions League, they might defeat Barça five times in one season!

Exciting just to imagine!

And Barça’s chairman Big Bear was dumbfounded.

Dang... whether they lose or not is irrelevant, but Barça absolutely cannot lose to Real Madrid again.

Getting beaten by Real Madrid four or five times in a single season would be a historic disgrace and not favorable for Big Bear’s reelection.

Originally focused on solving internal issues, Barça suddenly was forced to the brink by external battles.

This round of the Champions League, they must win!

Next, Bayern Munich, who had just drawn San Remo, this time drew... Manchester United!

Bayern feels bitter.

Although they have some advantage against Manchester United in terms of strength, and historically, they also have an advantage.

But compared to San Remo, Manchester United is undoubtedly much harder to chew.
