I AM the Football Star

Basic operation, no big deal!

Why are the fans so angry? It’s not just San Remo; the entire Serie A fanbase is disappointed with this draw.

To put it bluntly, it would’ve been better to draw any other team.

But why did it have to be Florence?

Is there anyone who can stop Florence this year?

No!

This year, Florence is invincible in Serie A, defeating gods and overthrowing buddhas.

San Remo hasn’t lost many matches so far, but one of those losses was at the hands of Florence.

UEFA wants to use Florence to eliminate San Remo!

If San Remo gets knocked out, UEFA lets off some steam.

Serie A teams eliminating each other, UEFA also gets back at the Italian Football Association that’s been opposing them these years.

Strong Florence defeats a Serie A team and gives an extra quarterfinal spot to Premier League and La Liga teams, completing Jeffery’s KPI.

Otherwise, if San Remo really faced teams from other leagues, who knows if they could have advanced another round.

After all, this team has a doggedness, often performing spectacularly against strong teams.

Killing three birds with one stone, Jeffery nailed it.

Besides, the other three Serie A teams didn’t have good luck either.

Juventus faced Liverpool.

Strength-wise, Juventus has a slight edge.

But this Liverpool team, having inherited Land Dog’s spirit, can unleash any possibility.

Moreover, Liverpool is only slightly inferior to Juventus, so the gap isn’t insurmountable.

Whereas Rome faced Real Madrid.

When the two ’horses’ meet, the odds are about two-eight.

Rome has a 20% chance, Real Madrid 80%.

Not to mention against Rome, who doesn’t Real Madrid have a two-eight chance against?

The four Mr. Golden Balls are fully recovered, and this Galaxy Battleship is in its strongest form!

AC Milan faced the top Ligue 1 team, Paris Saint-Germain.

Paris Saint-Germain is a Golden Yuan team, and after three years of reinforcements, their lineup is slightly better than AC Milan, Liverpool, Atletico Madrid, Rome, and Dortmund, like any giant club.

They’re just one or two aces away from the world’s top teams.

Once a superstar joins Paris Saint-Germain, this Paris will become another Bayern.

They’re just short of achievements.

This year is their first full attempt to win the Champions League, while AC Milan is under league pressure, making the situation really tough.

This is the Champions League; one moment you’re strutting around, and the next, there’s a risk of being wiped out.

If you say there’s no manipulation behind this draw, not even a dog would believe it!

However, this draw also created a classic moment, which is... in February, everyone can see an exciting three-match series!

San Remo will face Serie A leader Florence in three consecutive matches in the Champions League, the league, and the Champions League!

This is an exceptionally rare and thrilling duel.

It allows all fans to enjoy a feast.

Whether San Remo truly has the face of a Serie A champion this year depends entirely on the results of the upcoming matches.

...

On January 28th, San Remo encountered AC Milan for the second time this season.

However, the result was unexpected.

San Remo was short-handed, with Camihong and Lam not included on the roster.

The former is still in recovery, while the latter is mainly under observation.

The collision left Lam uncomfortable for a long time; although it seemingly hasn’t affected his physical condition, we don’t support players engaging in high-intensity competition when they’re feeling unwell.

Danish player Eriksen taught everyone a safety lesson with real-life experience.

In fact, even before that match where his heart stopped, he had shown some signs of discomfort.

But in the end, San Remo drew 2-2 with AC Milan once again.

The two teams have no winner this year.

AC Milan’s fans are quite content with this result.

Here’s a fun fact.

Two draws are the best record AC Milan has had against San Remo.

Previously, it was always losses.

On February 3rd, Serie A’s fourth Monthly Best Player award was given.

This time, the lone standout, King of Purple Lilies Carrel, finally tasted the honor.

If it weren’t for Lu Yang’s monstrous performances over the past three months, Carrel might have claimed this award repeatedly.

On February 4th, San Remo faced direct competitor Naples.

San Remo’s points; advancing a step puts the Serie A title within reach.

But a step back, and they’re fighting for fourth place.

In fact, due to the fierce performance of the top teams in Serie A this year, a step back invites a battle for sixth place.

Fighting for fourth place equals fighting for sixth.

That’s the harshness of Serie A this year.

However, this round San Remo faced misfortune upon misfortune.

Naji caught a cold five hours before the match.

A severe cold, leaving him completely drained.

San Remo had to field Palacios in the end.

In this match, San Remo lost 3-1 to Naples.

It was, without a doubt, a brutal defeat.

Moreover.

On February 11th, in the 24th round of the league, San Remo, although welcoming back Naji and Lam,

under Candreva’s divine-level performance, lost 4-3 to Udinese in a last-minute defeat.

Before, when Lu Yang was at his godly level, Udinese was crushed terribly, but this time, Udinese took sweet revenge.

On February 14th, the first leg of the Champions League knockout stage.

San Remo was at home, attracting all eyes.

This match was the highlight of this round of the Champions League.

The Miracle Stadium was packed to capacity, with numerous foreign fans pouring in.
