I AM the Football Star

In fact, it’s not just Lu Yang.

The players from both teams running back and forth were also exhausted at this moment.

So although Lu Yang lay down, he was lucky not to be piled on by his teammates.

Looking down from above.

In the penalty area of Sporting Lisbon, Averro collapsed headfirst towards his own goal.

Two meters away from him, Lu Yang lay with his feet pointing towards Sporting Lisbon’s goal. They mirrored each other, their chests heaving violently.

”How about it, I’m awesome, right?” Lu Yang looked at the sky through the stadium, stars twinkling.

Averro also gazed at the sky and said, ”Awesome! You’re impressive!”

Lu Yang smiled and raised his right hand, giving a thumbs up: ”Someday, you’ll be this awesome too!”

The next moment, sparse applause began in the audience.

Then the applause became louder and louder.

Sporting Lisbon’s fans could understand that Lu Yang’s thumbs up was actually meant for Averro.

He deserved that thumbs up.

And Lu Yang, even more so.

...

Three to two!

Until the last moment of the game, the score remained unchanged.

Similarly, Lu Yang and Averro did not stop their steps.

San Remo defeated Sporting Lisbon at their home and took three points from Portugal.

As a result, the standings in Group D formed a pattern of 4-3-3-1.

Arsenal narrowly led.

Sevilla is currently at the bottom.

Sporting Lisbon, due to the head-to-head record, was ranked below San Remo, taking third place in the group.

After the match, Sporting Lisbon’s outstanding youngster Averro was interviewed. He scored four goals in two Champions League rounds, placing him second in the current Champions League scorer list!

During the interview, the reporter noticed that he was holding a shoebox.

On the front was written LY7.

On the side was written Luzzy750.

These are the sports casual shoes produced by Lu Yang!

The reporter began to ask: ”Averro, you performed very well today, your goals were beautiful.”

Averro: ”Maybe, but goals that don’t bring points to the team aren’t worth discussing.”

Reporter: ”Don’t say that, you are already ranked second on the Champions League scorer list. Your celebration after scoring, were you imitating Lu Yang?”

Averro: ”If you say so, then maybe. I just think the move is cool, nothing to do with Lu Yang.”

Reporter: ”Haha, then after you scored your second goal, why did you shout towards Lu Yang? Was it because you proved yourself in front of your idol?”

Averro: ”I have no idols; Lu Yang and I are competitors. I won’t idolize my opponents.”

What your idol, my idol.

We are all the same!

Big backpacks, small shoulders.

Off to school!

The reporter laughed: ”Oh? Then why are you holding a pair of Lu Yang’s personal brand shoes?”

Averro stubbornly said: ”Investment, isn’t it allowed? I have confidence in his career and the development of the LY7 brand. Since I grabbed a pair of shoes first, it seems reasonable to have the brand manager sign them by using the match’s convenience, right?”

The reporter couldn’t help but laugh: ”Oh? So you snagged the shoes yourself? I thought Lu Yang gave them to you! Seems you’re not just any ordinary Lu Yang fan, you might be a fanatic fan.”

Averro is overwhelmed!

Of course, despite this match, everyone was eager to hear Averro’s thoughts on the next crucial encounter between Sporting Lisbon and Arsenal.

After all, ever since Averro’s breakthrough, there have been several Premier League clubs reportedly interested in him.

Reporter: ”Next round of the Champions League, what do you think will happen?”

Averro: ”What could happen? We’ll try our best to defeat Arsenal, and San Remo will thrash Sevilla!”

The reporter vowed it was just a routine question, but Averro’s answer was so unconventional: ”Are you sure? Both answers are quite surprising.”

Averro: ”I’m very sure, the two teams that will advance from Group D will only be Sporting Lisbon and San Remo. Arsenal and Sevilla will eventually compete for the Europa League spot.”

The reporter left satisfied.

Reaping full rewards!

Not only confirmed that Averro is a hardcore fan of Lu Yang, he also extracted some juicy tidbits from Averro about the next round.

Sporting Lisbon actually aims to defeat Arsenal!

This Averro is truly bold.

He probably doesn’t understand the difference between the Five Major Leagues and other leagues, right?

Regarding Averro’s statements, Arsenal fans instantly got angry.

”A player from the Portuguese Super League says a Premier League team should play in the Europa League? Let him try stepping into the Five Major Leagues before making such claims!”

”It’s okay to be a brainless fan of Lu Yang, but imitating his arrogance is ridiculous. Lu Yang has the confidence, do you?”

Sevilla fans are also furious.

”No vision at all, it’s one thing to idolize a non-superstar, but to think a team like San Remo can beat us? Next time we face Sporting Lisbon, we should score five against them!”

”First, we’ll deal with San Remo in the next match, then find an opportunity to take care of Sporting Lisbon—perfect!”

Likewise, after this match, as the best player on the field, Lu Yang also accepted an interview.

Lu Yang: ”Yes, I personally signed a pair of Luzzy750s for Averro. I know he already has one pair, but I told him that if he had two pairs, he could use one to wear and one to collect.”

”Averro is very interested in my suggestion. I really admire him; he has great vision.”

Reporter: ”Are you saying he really likes LY7 brand shoes?”
