I AM the Football Star

It’s better to resolve grudges than to form them.

In relationships between people, it’s difficult to steer towards a positive direction, but it’s very easy to become enemies, as a careless hurt might make people drift apart.

Sotu doesn’t think that if Ancelotti and Lu Yang fall out again, it will affect the national team’s combat strength; that’s something Maniero should consider.

Sotu simply hopes, from the perspective of an elder, that young people in society, after rising to power, treat those old folks a little better.

Because these middle-aged people are already quite pitiable.

Where have all the middle-aged professionals who haven’t become leaders by thirty-five gone?

This is a very popular thread recently.

Realistic, direct, and cruelly revealing the horror of this competitive society.

All employees, there’s really no need to compete so hard.

It can kill people!

”First of all, I think Ancelotti’s performance in this match was not bad.” Lu Yang immediately corrected the journalist’s question, ”Perhaps many people only saw Ancelotti miss the last shot, but if you say Ancelotti was bad just because of this, that’s very irresponsible.”

”From the head coach’s perspective, Ancelotti almost fulfilled all the tactical requirements on the field, ensuring the team could play out threatening tactics. As the attacking core, his performance is absolutely at an excellent level!”

”The head coach’s judgment of the team’s ability should depend on whether the team creates opportunities, not whether it scores. The latter concerns fans, if the head coach cares about the same things as fans, then what’s the point of being a head coach? Just be a fan? Or let the fans be the head coach, then why have a head coach?”

”Whether a goal is scored reflects the player’s personal form and ability. In this regard, perhaps Ancelotti seemed a bit off today, but this isn’t his normal trend.”

”Some of you may know that I’ve set up a company focusing on sports data analysis. We summarize various data and high-order data for many players every year, each season, and throughout their life, predicting their future performance.”

”The more outstanding the player, the more accurate the prediction.”

”And our prediction for Ancelotti shows that his goals this season will exceed twenty-five, and his assists will exceed ten!”

This statement caused an uproar in the audience.

Because this prediction was vastly different from common expectations for Ancelotti’s goals.

The mainstream opinion is that Kolber might exceed twenty-five goals this season.

As for Ancelotti, the expectation is about 12-15 goals.

On one hand, Ancelotti aged one more year, so his form would naturally continue to decline.

On the other hand, Kolber’s arrival took Ancelotti’s shooting opportunities.

Last season, Ancelotti only scored twenty-two goals, decline seems inevitable.

”I know many don’t believe, there’s no need to argue with me, because by the end of the season, Ancelotti will give you the answer.” Lu Yang said, ”Ancelotti has never experienced a prolonged scoring drought in his career. He’s very stable, and data fluctuations are often because of changes in his position and responsibility on the field.”

”Once he’s familiar with his current mission, he’ll become different, stronger!”

Coincidentally.

In the post-match interview with Ancelotti, some comments about Lu Yang were shared.

Ancelotti: ”Lu Yang is a very unique player, he seems to have a 1-0 attribute, as long as he’s on the field, the team is guaranteed at least one goal.”

”I think we can no longer evaluate him as a young player; we should evaluate him as a famous star. Yet even with such high standards, you’ll find he’s still outstanding.”

”I no longer have personal grievances with Lu Yang. My performance this game wasn’t good; it was Lu who found me first and comforted me, even pointed me in the right direction.”

”Looking back over these years, Juventus’ overall decline is a reality we need to proactively address. This season’s revival of attacking firepower is just one aspect; we need to strengthen in all areas, especially in mentality and spirit!”

”No matter where we are on the standings, Juventus’ only goal is the league championship!”

Ancelotti did not fall into despair.

His attitude gave Juventus fans confidence and ended internal criticism among fans, preventing unrelated players from being attacked by fans.

After all, at Ancelotti’s age and status, fans who criticize him must have ulterior motives.

But not criticizing him when the team loses requires releasing some frustration, right?

If not for Ancelotti’s timely statement, team players would have inevitably faced some critics.

However, whether Lu Yang’s words or Ancelotti’s can only convince rational fans.

The majority of the media, regardless of whether it’s reporting on Juventus’s situation or not, will report as they see fit.

...

”Lu Yang scores twice, helps San Remo beat the top!”

”’Man of the Match’ Ancelotti! Is it time to discuss his retirement now!”

”Missed opportunities repeatedly, Ancelotti becomes the scapegoat for Juventus’ defeat!”

”Twenty-five goals this season? Lu Yang doesn’t understand how dreadful the decline of veterans can be!”

”25+10! Lu Yang is undermining Ancelotti, he’s sinister and malicious!”

”Three wins and one draw! San Remo holds ten points after four rounds, tied fifth in the league with Naples and Lazio!”
