I AM the Football Star

He stands a whole head above the other players, truly outstanding.

Bang!

The football was violently rammed into the net.

The main referee signaled the goal was valid, then immediately blew to stop the match.

Halftime break begins.

Lu Yang, halftime, hat trick!

”Lu Yang! Lu Yang! Lu Yang!”

”Five to zero! Five to zero! Five to zero!”

San Remo’s fans went wild!

It’s really five to zero!

They actually fiercely trampled a powerhouse club!

This is Inter Milan!

This is one of the titans of Serie A!

”Unbelievable! San Remo is an unbelievable team! After defeating the top-ranking Juventus in the last game, they’ve claimed a huge advantage of five to zero against Inter!”

”To be blunt, this match is over!”

”San Remo and Liverpool have shown us that trailing three to zero in the first half isn’t the end. But my experience as a spectator tells me, falling behind zero to five in the first half is definitely the end! An absolute end!”

”Inter’s players are completely numb; their bodies seem utterly drained walking into the player tunnel!”

”Finger even covered his head with his jersey; as the team leader, he must take responsibility for this tragic defeat! The six million euros salary doesn’t come easy!”

”His salary alone is higher than Lu Yang and Talista’s combined, yet these two contributed four goals for San Remo in the first half!”

”Of course, from the recent two matches, we can see San Remo’s issues. They don’t seem equipped for multi-line battles. Once Lu Yang, Morici, and other key players aren’t around, San Remo even struggles against relegation teams.”

”San Remo must solve this issue moving forward, or else despite their dazzling performances, it’ll be tough to gain a point advantage in the long haul of the league!”

The news of San Remo leading Inter Milan five to zero at halftime spread, the match isn’t over yet, but everyone knows Inter is facing an imminent defeat.

In the next forty-five minutes, Inter should not pray to claw back some goals but rather to not get hammered further by San Remo.

Sotu’s performance after the team’s fourth goal also drew countless fans’ admiration.

During halftime, Sotu was even approached by numerous media interviews that he had to say a few words before having a chance to return to the locker room.

Reporter: ”Sotu, why are you so confident that your team would complete a great lead of five to zero in the first half?”

Old Tom shook his head beside him, wanting to say he wasn’t sure, he totally guessed wrong, he intended for the team to score a total of five goals over the entire match, not just in the first half.

But Sotu covered Old Tom’s mouth: ”It might sound absurd, but each goal in this match so far was within my prediction. My assistant Old Tom can prove it.”

Old Tom faced the camera and helplessly blinked, signaling he’d been kidnapped.

But viewers in front of the TV couldn’t decode his SOS signal.

Reporter: ”Oh my, it’s incredible! You’re definitely the best head coach in Serie A.”

Sotu: ”Don’t say that, others are pretty good too.”

Which means, I’ll accept the compliment.

Reporter: ”Can you talk about Lu Yang’s hat trick? It seems to be his first hat trick in the Serie A!”

Sotu: ”I hope everyone gets used to this situation; such occasions will appear many times in the future. Even if awarded a penalty or an open goal, Lu Yang can still get a hat trick.”

”His goals aren’t influenced by others’ wills. He won’t deliberately chase another goal after a brace, but when he wishes for a hat trick, you’d better offer it graciously, otherwise...”

”If Inter’s executives understand the importance of PR, they should contact me now, asking me to substitute Lu Yang at halftime. Otherwise, I feel that Lu Yang might even score five individual goals at this stadium!”

”I’d be delighted to see him give Meazza Stadium his first career quintuple.”

Sotu started to taunt.

Very subtle.

Yet truly taunting.

Inter’s executives almost had a heart attack seeing this live broadcast.

Too audacious!

Meazza is San Siro, if Lu Yang leaves such a score at this stadium, do you think it would look good for AC Milan?

Inter Milan and AC Milan are two sides of the same coin, most of the time they’re sworn enemies.

But only time will make people realize that sometimes they share the same fate.

If Inter is derogated, AC Milan as Inter’s number one enemy won’t be regarded highly.

If AC Milan is seen as a weak team, no matter how strong Inter is, they won’t gain the general public’s recognition.

Like the Serie A in recent years, the Rossoneri and Nerazzurri remain prominent but never break into the top tier in the world’s mainstream view.

Entering the player tunnel, Old Tom asked Sotu: ”So, if Inter’s executives actually sent you money, would you sub Lu Yang out?”

Sotu laughed: ”Are you insulting me? They could offer a billion, I wouldn’t sub Lu Yang! Besides, do you think whether Lu Yang plays is up to me?”

Old Tom nodded, true enough.

Squeak.

The locker room door opened.

Sotu praised the players immensely, but once he scanned the room, he didn’t see Brother Lu.

”Hey, where did Lu Yang go?” Sotu asked.
