I AM the Football Star

Of course, they absolutely do not know, what they’re actually visiting is a ”marriage graveyard”.

Meanwhile, European football has been completely stirred up.

Because right when Lu Yang’s song became popular worldwide, and the day after Lu Yang and Sofia attended the Sanremo Music Festival, San Remo played a league match!

San Remo won this match one to zero, with Mattias assisting Sogel in scoring.

But the issue is that Lu Yang was not seen in this match.

Those familiar with San Remo’s schedule would know that Sotu often rotates players in such matches, with appropriate rotations around major competitions, which is an advantage for San Remo.

Their lead in the league allows them to operate this way.

Although there have been a few instances where Lu Yang didn’t take a break around major competitions, that was because Lu Yang requested it; Sotu eagerly wished Brother Lu would rest more to avoid being troubled by injuries like the fragile Xiaomo.

However, those unfamiliar with San Remo might think that Lu Yang chose the music festival over the team’s match!

This is unfaithfulness to football!

It’s a lack of love for the club and teammates!

It’s an irresponsibility towards the fans!

How could such a person be worthy of football?

Under the guidance of some ”intentional” media, and because this buzzword is too attractive for traffic, many football media outlets chose to frame this as a choice between football and music!

They want Lu Yang to make a decision, either football or music.

They even directly categorized Lu Yang as someone who prefers music over football, starting to question his professionalism.

”A football player? No, he enjoys being a musician more! Look how happy he is at the music festival!”

”He has been completely led astray by Sofia! He’s fallen in love with showbiz and betrayed football!”

”Although Sofia is also my goddess, I must say that she significantly influenced Lu Yang’s professional choices! She doesn’t even want Lu Yang to play football!”

”He abandoned football for a girlfriend! Lu Yang made a wrong decision!”

”Lu Yang, whose songs are popular in Europe and America, why would he toil to play football?”

”Do you think three million euros a year is a lot? I’m telling you, the new song CRY ON MY SHOULDER could potentially bring Lu more than thirty million in income!”

”The song is great! But sadly, he no longer belongs to football!”

”An upcoming football star in love with crossover? Leaving the football circle is just a matter of time for him!”

”Football doesn’t need such two-faced figures! The Italian star disappoints, bringing shame to football!”

”Football should not be secondary to music, Serie B players have set a wrong example for everyone, and this will impact the foundation of European football!”

After a series of accusations, the hidden motives began to surface.

In the expenditure of major leagues’ football associations, there is a promotional fee called brand image maintenance.

This maintenance is partly used for advertising.

Partly for emergency contingencies.

And partly to attack competitors.

For example, if you want to become the world’s number one league, besides actually having the capabilities, you also have to make the current number one league quickly exit the historical stage.

This kind of struggle often lasts several years, even decades.

For instance, the Premier League and La Liga have been tugging at each other for ten years, only determining a winner after successive entries of wealthy players and the departure of Mei Luo.

But then Serie A, by its own fault, suddenly got pulled down from the top spot overnight.

However... a series of miraculous actions by Martivini surprisingly showed signs of a revival for Italian football both last year and this year.

Not having hit bottom, they rebounded ahead of time.

This definitely exceeded the tolerance of the Premier League and La Liga.

The heavens have perished, the yellow sky shall rise.

Serie A experiencing a last glimmer of hope.

How can the Premier League and La Liga just sit and do nothing?

After a series of analyses by experts, they vaguely caught some breakthroughs in the revival of Italian football.

AC Milan in the Champions League!

San Remo in the Europa League!

Lu Yang and Maniero for the national team!

Martivini promoting the Italian Cup, VAR fair play, and the repositioning of Italian football.

AC Milan won’t be a concern by next year.

But the other three seem to have a trinity of significance.

So, they started testing the waters with Lu Yang, to see how deep this pool of Italian football goes!
