I AM the Football Star

”Inter shouldn’t let me down, or else... however many goals I can score for Inter now, I’ll score just as many against them in the future! I’m just such a simple and pure player. I stand by every word I’ve said!”

”I demand the club... give me a raise!”

Boom!

Talista’s words left the reporters bewildered.

It was originally just a routine question, most players would choose to say a few words and move on, and some might even walk away directly.

But this reporter didn’t expect Talista to say so much to the camera!

This damn game is the Italian Derby!

The audience for this match is not just Serie A fans, but fans of European and even World Football!

Talista’s words caused a massive stir.

He may very well be the first player to announce to the camera that he wants his team to give him a raise.

He’s become famous!

Previously, Talista was just one of the top scorers of Serie B and a notable player on the Serie A forward line observation list.

But now, he has triggered widespread discussion across World Football.

Without a doubt, most people are cursing Talista like a dog.

Because this guy is truly ”blinded by money.”

He actually dares to outright insult the fans and demand a raise from the club on camera!

Among Inter fans, the Inter team, and Talista, bystanders naturally tend to side with the first two.

Although Talista said he has been misunderstood, criticized, insulted, and ignored too much.

But it’s really hard to empathize with those who haven’t gone through these things.

Everyone knows the concept of an employee publicly demanding or even threatening their boss for a raise while insulting their customers.

Fifteen years later, someone who dares to stand out like this will be hailed as a hero.

But now, anyone who does such a thing will be seen as rebellious, unorthodox, and shameless!

Talista did something out of a Moneyball world before Moneyball fully emerged.

He certainly won’t gain widespread support.

But his intention doesn’t require wide support.

Someone who is used to being let down just needs to silently achieve their goal.

What the fans don’t know is that after this news broke, clubs like Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1, Manchester City and Chelsea in the Premier League, Real Madrid and Barcelona in La Liga, Turkish Super League giants Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, and the wealthy leagues like the Major League Soccer and Chinese Super League have all turned their attention towards Talista.

Take a look, and you’ll be amazed!

The top scorer in Serie B!

His stats every season are at a superstar level.

After scoring eighteen goals as a substitute central forward for Chievo in the Italian Second Division, his seasonal goals have never fallen below twenty-five!

Whether in the Italian D Division or Serie A!

Yes!

He played in the Italian D Division! But now he can fight in Serie A as well!

Such a player offers more security than a youngster who only plays in the top leagues.

A player who dominates in a lower league might not necessarily still excel in a higher league.

But a player who shines in both places is definitely strong.

Talista, very talented, about to turn twenty-six, which means he’s just beginning to enter his career peak!

He’s definitely not going to flop.

As long as he can find a head coach who can tame his temper or a club willing to pay to make him obedient, his fighting power will be terrifying!

Buy him, and he might become the next Gutierrez!

No!

Talista and Gutierrez have different styles.

Talista will forge his own beast-style forward play!

Perhaps before him, there weren’t no physically abnormal players who knew how to use their bodies, like Vieri, Drogba, and even future ones like Lukaku, etc.

But they are fierce forward types.

While Talista is a beast-type forward.

Fierce and wild!

That’s a different concept.

Fierce might be stronger!

But wild is more lethal!

He wants a high salary, has great ability, and better performance in crucial matches!

Isn’t this the expensive front-line gold prepared for the elite clubs?

Spending the money on the cutting edge is what the wealthy are willing to do.

All of a sudden, Talista’s agent received many inexplicable calls from big shots.

Their goal was quite consistent, they all wanted to observe Talista and eventually take him one day.

But not now.

Talista’s agent knew what it meant to make acquaintances with the other party, and was overjoyed as his connections expanded dramatically.

The world suddenly became vast and open.

And within Inter, Talista’s shout sparked more thoughts.

At least among the players, thoughts of asking for a raise started to grow.

Previously Finger was two million, now Finger is six million.

Previously, I earned over a million, now two or three million should be ok, right?

Due to giving Finger the top salary, Inter’s soon to spiral out of control salary structure was significantly accelerated by Talista’s demand for a raise.

Ending this season, they will likely face several player raise requests.

This is beyond Inter higher-ups’ expectations.

This summer, they’re probably not going to have it easy.
