I AM the Football Star

Sotu was skeptical: ”Alright, I’ll tell Gudiola like this later. I hope Gudiola won’t curse my family over the phone, and I especially hope he won’t bring the Champions League trophy to San Remo after winning it.”

Then the two ended their conversation.

Sofia had already tidied up the kitchen by now.

Leaning against the kitchen door frame, she wiped water droplets off her face, and with a touch of allure, she asked, ”So my dear Lu, you’ve been busy for so long, but this is my vacation. Can we play some... games just for the two of us now?”

Lu Yang looked at Sofia’s wet white shirt from washing dishes, the soaked garment barely concealing anything, with a hint of her devilish waist and full bust silhouetted, making him feel overwhelmed.

”I’ve been waiting for this moment!” Lu Yang walked toward Sofia.

…

Sofia and Lu Yang sat on the couch, playing PES on the large projector screen, competing against each other.

The player controlled by Lu Yang was maneuvering within the penalty box but just wouldn’t shoot.

Sofia had given up resisting.

She thought Lu Yang was mocking her gaming skills.

Finally, the player controlled by Lu Yang, ”LU,” faked a shot twice before kicking the ball into the goal before the opposing defender and goalkeeper’s double sliding tackle.

Only then did the match end.

Three to two, Lu Yang narrowly defeated Sofia.

”My body control isn’t this bad; PES is such a lousy game. Next time we’ll play FIFA!” Lu Yang was annoyed, as he almost lost while playing San Remo against Sofia’s AC Milan.

Bear in mind, Sofia was just a rookie.

Isn’t this a rigged system?

Except for Morici and Bernulin, everyone in San Remo receives passes three meters away!

On the AC Milan side, everyone is at the level of a football king.

These game developers really don’t watch football!

Don’t they know that last season San Remo already defeated AC Milan once?

”Alright, alright, let’s not play this anymore; it’s time to rest.” Sofia put down the game controller.

Lu Yang wanted to say something but didn’t know quite how.

Tomorrow he had a league match.

But seeing Sofia’s demeanor, tonight might be...

Sofia didn’t force Lu Yang; she knew he had a match tomorrow.

Women, never make a man choose between you and another important thing as an either-or choice.

You have to let the man make that choice himself, only then will he do it willingly and without regret.

If not, today’s love will be tomorrow’s resentment.

At ten o’clock at night, Sofia suddenly called Lu Yang’s name from the room: ”Lu, Lu, come help me! Lu!”

Sofia’s voice was quite anxious; Lu Yang was afraid something might have happened to her.

Upon entering the room, Lu Yang was dumbfounded.

He saw Sofia with her back to him, her legs kneeling on the bed, wearing only lingerie.

Her hands were trying to unzip the back of her bra, but the zipper seemed to be problematic.

”Lu, my zipper doesn’t seem to go up.” Sofia suddenly turned her head.

At that moment, her perfect body and looks shone in harmony.

Lu Yang’s mind was filled with Sofia’s graceful curves and the tender affection in her eyes.

He took a deep breath, walked over, and took the zipper from Sofia’s hands.

Zzzip!

The zipper moved smoothly, without any snag, under Lu Yang’s hands... he unzipped it.

”If it won’t zip up, why not just not wear it.”

After saying that, Lu Yang gently removed the bra.

His breath brushed against Sofia’s neck, making her shiver.

Sofia turned and hugged Lu Yang, and the two of them tumbled onto the bed together.

On the 60,000-euro Vividus mattress, both were full of vitality.

…

March 19, the 29th round of Serie B kicked off.

Lu Yang, who was supposed to be on the bench today, did not appear at all.

By three in the afternoon, his phone already had over twenty missed messages.

Sotu was going mad with worry.

Could something have happened to Brother Lu?

Lu Yang’s professionalism is unquestionable!

Whether or not he participates in the match tonight, he never skips morning and afternoon training.

Since starting in the Italian Third Division until now, for over two years, he’s only been late twice.

The first time was when Lu Yang went out celebrating with the team and then met Sofia, causing him to be late the next day.

The second time was when the team traveled to Zenit for a match, and Lu Yang boarded the plane at the last moment, nearly missing it. That time, it seemed Sofia drove him to the airport.

Morici looked at Sotu worriedly, patting his head as if waking from a dream: ”Right, boss, Sofia went back to San Remo for vacation yesterday; I even had dinner with them, I completely forgot about this.”

Only then did Sotu put down his phone.

Why didn’t you say this earlier!

If you disrupted Lu Yang and Sofia’s private moments, could you bear the responsibility?

The previously chaotic team calmed down instantly.

Considering Lu Yang’s endurance, from last night until this afternoon… although hard to accept, it is indeed possible.

Just... it might be tough on Sofia.

In the evening’s match, San Remo moderately rotated the players, with Morici staying on the bench the entire time.

Lam assisted, Kaint scored, the iron tree blossomed.

San Remo ultimately secured a 1-1 draw.

Given that this match was only a day after the previous UEFA Europa League match, fans were reasonably accepting of the outcome.

Especially since San Remo still leads Serie B to date.

The league title is just a matter of time now.

According to media statistics, after this draw, San Remo could clinch the title six rounds early!
