I AM the Football Star

”Poor Inter! We don’t have any grudge against Inter, why do you have to do this?”

After seeing the news about Inter, Morici expressed a moment of silence for Inter’s plight.

If the Inter higher-ups find out that it was Lu Yang who instructed Talista, would they come and demolish San Remo?

The thought alone made Morici scared.

Now, it’s only a matter of time before Inter’s salary system gets out of control.

No, it’s not just Inter.

The entire Serie A salary system is under challenge.

Serie A giants like Juventus and Inter are raising the standard cap proactively, and other teams more or less have to follow suit, symbolically.

But Italy’s economic momentum isn’t that strong.

If players’ salary expectations are raised but cannot be met in Serie A, they will move to leagues that can meet their needs.

The Premier League and La Liga are currently the two financially well-off leagues.

”We have no grudge with Inter?” Lu Yang chuckled as he adjusted his shin guards, ”You can’t possibly think Talista flew all the way from Milan to San Remo just to train with us for a couple of hours and hear my opinions on his salary?”

Morici was stunned.

What does it mean?

Is there another meaning to this?

Morici’s mind turned for a long time, and he suddenly thought of a possibility.

”Hey, game time, Lu, Morici!” Solger pushed the locker room door open to call out to the two team leaders.

”Okay, coming right away.” Lu Yang nodded at Solger.

Solger left immediately.

At this time, Morici looked at the locker room door and said, ”Are you saying Talista... has... the idea of joining us?”

This conclusion was so bizarre that even someone as thick-skinned as Morici had to say it several times before finally saying it out loud.

But Lu Yang nodded decisively: ”Solger has clearly matured more this season at San Remo! Last season, he scored 14 goals and 8 assists in 42 Italian Third Division matches, but this season he has already scored 11 goals and 5 assists in 25 Serie B matches.”

”He has achieved better stats in a higher league, thanks to San Remo’s strength, but it also proves his growth.”

”Also, last season he scored 6 goals and 2 assists in the Italian Cup, and although he hasn’t participated much in this season’s Italian Cup, he has scored 2 goals and 1 assist in the Europa League. He has proven that he can still consistently score and assist in higher cup competitions.”

”In terms of tactical impact and personal stats, Solger is reaching the level of a Serie A central forward. AC Milan has no reason to keep loaning him to us!”

”They won’t sell Solger, and Sotu can’t dig his own corner like this!”

”AC Milan is very likely to lose Izalelt next year, and they must use another strong and excellent player to regain the support of their fans.”

”Their own youth academy player! Glorious match data and personal honors! Succeeding the Son of God and becoming AC Milan’s key forward for the next decade! These headlines will satisfy most fans, at least enough to make them willing to watch instead of directly executing the club.”

”Similarly, Solger cannot refuse the allure of these titles.”

”So...”

Morici took a deep breath: ”So San Remo will lack a starting central forward next season!”

Morici was not surprised. His mind, when he thought hard, couldn’t fail to guess Solger’s future.

This is an open card.

The true surprise for Morici was the other layer of meaning revealed by Lu Yang’s words: ”You’re staying at San Remo next season?”

That’s right!

Whether to leave San Remo!

Lu Yang already has the answer!

In almost every team, when promoted to the top league, the departure of the key players to other bigger platforms is beneficial and has no disadvantages.

People go upward.

Promoted teams achieving results is possible in lower leagues, but impossible in top leagues.

Even if you get lucky and witness a miracle with the promoted team achieving great results in the top league.

But in the expansion of personal fame, due to the platform, you will still be delayed.

In the selection of various awards, you will also suffer loss because of this.

In terms of team salaries, you also have to compromise and cannot demand a salary equal to or even above your level.

In terms of other incomes, due to fame and platform influence, you won’t receive what you deserve.

This is all-around restriction.

So, unless unexpected, leaving San Remo after this season’s promotion to Serie A is the best time.

Why do so many big clubs chase after Morici and Lu Yang?

Is it for Lu Yang’s remarkable feat of 60 goals in one season in the Italian Third Division?

No!

They wouldn’t even care about 100 goals in the Italian Third Division!

They are aiming for Lu Yang’s unlimited potential in top leagues!

If Lu Yang really went to a top league, and if he didn’t achieve explosive stats, others’ expectations of you would then drop.

Unless you guarantee to score more than 30 goals in your first season in Serie A!

But who can do that?

Not Izalelt, Gutierrez, Ancelotti, Carrel, Perrotta, no one can do it!

Talista came close; if only his predecessor wasn’t the peak Gutierrez and he didn’t play unattractively, which sometimes embarrassed fans even when winning, Talista should have long been hailed as a super divine striker in Serie A!
