I Am Not A Goblin Slayer

”Zzzzz!”

Gauss had already adjusted his stance.

With a wave of his hand, he summoned a dazzling pillar of light descending from the sky, striking the other dragon wing.

”Boom!!”

The moment the light touched the dragon wing, it emitted a tearing sound.

The Blue Dragon’s protective spell collided with the dawn after being enhanced.

After a brief stalemate, Gauss’s dawn still held the upper hand.

Within the Holy Light, dragon scales and leather began to peel, while flesh and blood constantly evaporated in the glow!

The dawn created a massive hole on the relatively fragile dragon wing within a very short time.

The good effect was also thanks to the title of [True Dragon Killer].

The attack just now inflicted special effective true damage.

”Roar!”

The Blue Dragon initially didn’t feel much, but soon noticed its body spinning uncontrollably.

Although true dragon flight isn’t solely driven by the physical vibration of the dragon wings; there’s also a magical enhancement, the large hole on the wing, and the spreading continuous corrosion is far more harmful than expected.

It felt that the hole was extremely difficult to heal, and a troublesome force occupied the surrounding wound.

It even felt no sensation there, as if it wasn’t part of its body anymore.

This was the real reason for its flight loss of control.

The high-speed flying Blue Dragon stumbled uncontrollably mid-air and finally crashed into the valley.

Not far away, Hephaestus, just awakened from evolution, happened to witness this scene and couldn’t help shrink his neck.

It recalled a less pleasant memory, along with an aching body at this moment.

Seemingly, not long ago, it was also shot down by Gauss using similar methods.

The commotion now was even several times more intense than back then.

”Thank goodness...”

It couldn’t help but let out a breath, feeling grateful.

Luckily, it’s on Gauss’s side now.

After the relief, using the reflection of the blood pool left by the Black Dragon on the ground, it indulgently admired its current body.

Its body size had inexplicably grown again.

Previously, its wingspan was close to 20 meters, now it’s reaching 23 meters, almost catching up with the 25-meter Blue Dragon.

The horn atop its head had also grown significantly.

The previously rounded small horn made it somewhat self-conscious, as it signified incomplete development, but now the horn had grown substantially.

It’s now a full fifty centimeters long, with the tip extending out a segment, becoming more dignified and sharp.

More importantly, its dragon blood seemed to have fully awakened.

That raging hot and wild power was no different from the pure true blood of the Red Dragon, even more intense!

It became so powerful!

Its fiery eyes couldn’t help but glance at the battlefield in the distance, eyes flashing with eagerness.

However, after a brief pause, it shook its head again.

That’s Gauss’s opponent; though it wanted to test its true strength now, it decided to leave that foe to Gauss.

After all, without Gauss’s command, it didn’t dare act rashly, fearing to anger Gauss.

”Gurgle!”

Suddenly, its stomach let out a violent rumbling.

A strong hunger emerged from its belly.

So hungry!

It looked around, finally casting its gaze on the Black Dragon, who had left a while ago.

I... just one bite, it shouldn’t be a big problem.

It swallowed a mouthful of saliva.

Speaking of which, Hephaestus never ate dragon meat; after all, it’s not inclined to self-harm, couldn’t possibly just bite itself without a reason.

After one more glance in Gauss’s direction, it finally leaned its head towards the Black Dragon corpse, choosing a relatively soft belly piece to bite.

Chew chew chew...

Soon, Hephaestus’s face displayed a complex expression.

Black Dragon’s meat is the same as its breath, sour, even with a slightly peculiar faintly rotten smell.

So difficult to eat!

The only comfort was the strong feeling of fullness the Black Dragon meat brought.

Just one bite greatly alleviated the intense hunger from its evolved body.

Why not... have another bite?

Gauss didn’t know his Red Dragon mount had started eating yet.

Before the Blue Dragon crashed, he left the dragon’s back.

In an instant, he switched from high-speed to stillness.

”Boom!!”

The valley was smashed into a crack stretching hundreds of meters in a giant pit.

At the center of the crack, within the hot smoke, the Blue Dragon lay drenched in blood.

Dragon blood turned into white smoke upon separating from the body.

A scene of total devastation and misery.

Even in this seemingly hanging on by a thread, near-death state, when observed closely, the Blue Dragon’s body’s heart area was still beating strongly.

The thousands and thousands of wounds on its body also healed visibly in the steaming white smoke.

Except... for the dragon wing wound dealt by Gauss’s dawn that inflicted special true damage.

One can only say that the true dragon’s life force is more persistent than a cockroach.

Unless affected by a true damage effect like Gauss’s, any non-lethal wounds can be healed in a short time.

One can imagine how hopeless it must be for ordinary creatures facing an opponent like this.

The Blue Dragon slowly stood up from the pit.

”Crackle!!”

Sparks of electricity floated in the air.

During the moment of self-healing, the Blue Dragon attempted to launch an electric magic attack at Gauss floating above.

From this detail, it’s evident that its injury wasn’t as severe as it appeared.

Simply falling from a height is far from enough to take its life.
