Naruto: Zanka No Tachi

Chapter 1: NZNT: Chapter 1

In a small forest near Konohagakure, two young boys were engaged in a fierce hand-to-hand combat. The sounds of their clashing fists echoed through the trees.

Though young, both boys were clearly skilled in taijutsu. Every move they made was lightning fast and full of power, creating gusts of wind as they moved through the forest.

One of the boys wore a green bodysuit, sporting a comical mushroom haircut. His thick eyebrows were intimidating, and his nose was significantly larger than average. This was none other than Might Guy in his youth.

”Yusuki, fighting you is so exhilarating! But be careful, this is my final move!” Guy, sweating profusely, said to the other boy with a joyful expression.

His opponent had black hair and handsome features. His narrow eyes were calm and serene.

The boy wore the standard Konoha shinobi vest, with the Konoha symbol headband tied around his left arm. A fan symbol with a red top and white bottom in the center of his vest revealed his family affiliation: the Uchiha clan.

”Konoha Might Guy!” Guy roared, ready to unleash his attack, but Yusuki suddenly interrupted him.

”Wait!” Yusuki raised his hand in a gesture to stop.

”Are you scared, Yusuki? I, Guy, have finally beaten you in taijutsu!” Guy exclaimed, overjoyed at Yusuki’s request to stop.

Yusuki replied calmly, ”Your focus is too much on your opponent, you’ve lost your awareness of your surroundings. Izumi is here, I have to go home for dinner, let’s call it a day.”

”Brother, Mom called you home for dinner!” As soon as Yusuki finished speaking, a little girl’s voice came from nearby.

Then, a little girl in a purple dress emerged from the forest. Her name was Uchiha Izumi, Yusuki’s younger sister. She had long black hair and bright, sparkling eyes. She was pretty and adorable, with a beauty mark under her right eye.

Might Guy nodded in disappointment. He and Yusuki had a pact: whenever Izumi called for him, the match would officially end.

Yusuki had set this rule because Guy was incredibly persistent. Once he got into the heat of battle, he couldn’t control himself and would relentlessly pressure Yusuki to continue. That’s why they had this agreement.

”Alright, then I’ll spar with you again next time, Yusuki!” Guy’s face lit up with a bright smile. After waving goodbye to Yusuki, he shouted ”Youth!” and ran out of the forest.

As he passed Izumi, Guy grinned, revealing a set of dazzling white teeth. He gave Izumi a thumbs-up.

Izumi smiled sweetly and gave him a thumbs-up in return, ”Good luck!”

Watching Guy’s retreating figure, kicking up dust as he ran, Yusuki shook his head and chuckled. He walked over to Izumi and picked her up, ”Izumi, let’s go home for dinner.”

Uchiha Yusuki had been in the world of Naruto for fourteen years. He was a time traveler from Earth.

Back on Earth, he had watched Naruto, and he had a general understanding of the plot. However, he only remembered the broad strokes, many details had faded from his memory. He wasn’t very interested in the later parts of the story with its god-like battles, so he skimmed through them, leaving many gaps in his knowledge.

However, Yusuki was very familiar with the fate of the Uchiha clan. In a few years, the clan’s genius, Uchiha Itachi, would massacre the entire clan for the sake of the village’s stability, sparing only his younger brother, Sasuke.

Yusuki, of course, could not tolerate Itachi’s actions. Not only was he a member of the Uchiha clan himself, but his parents and sister Izumi in this life were his greatest weakness, and he would never allow anyone to harm them.

Therefore, to control his own destiny and that of his family, Yusuki worked hard to improve his strength.

Before his time travel, Yusuki was a scientist in multiple fields, possessing a wealth of knowledge and highly effective learning methods.

With his superior understanding compared to his peers, Yusuki consciously trained his abilities from a young age. It can be said that Yusuki had a head start compared to most people. Combined with his relentless efforts, his strength grew at an astonishing rate.

In the eyes of others, Yusuki was a rare genius, on par with the talented prodigy Kakashi.

Both Yusuki and Kakashi had recently become Jonin at the same time, but they didn’t interact much.

Especially after the deaths of Obito and Rin, Kakashi, who was already aloof and solitary, became even more reclusive, avoiding contact with anyone outside of his missions.

Of course, Yusuki and Kakashi did have a connection: they both shared a common friend, Might Guy. Perhaps this was a characteristic of proud individuals: they had few friends, but they were willing to have a simple and trustworthy friend like Guy.

Yusuki felt a deep sense of regret for Kakashi. If he hadn’t suffered a series of blows in recent years, this genius would have achieved far more than he did in the original Naruto.

Kakashi had almost completely stopped improving his strength, simply numbing his wounded heart through constant missions. In Yusuki’s view, Kakashi was simply squandering his talent!

Of course, while he felt regret, Yusuki didn’t have time to worry about Kakashi. Yusuki was completely immersed in the world of shinobi, his scientific curiosity driving him to constantly delve into various knowledge related to shinobi.

Although the rules of the Naruto world were different from many rules on Earth, such as the fact that on Earth, you run faster with your arms swinging back and forth, while in the Naruto world, you run faster with your arms held behind you, the principles were the same. The way of researching and thinking was universal. With Yusuki’s former knowledge as a scientist, he naturally had a huge advantage in researching various jutsu or scientific training methods.

Holding Izumi in his arms, Yusuki strolled along the country road, enjoying the time spent with his adorable sister under the beautiful setting sun.

”Brother, today a little boy said you’re not a genius, and Izumi argued with him for a long time. Brother is the best!” Izumi said, nestled in Yusuki’s arms.

”Oh? Just pretend you didn’t hear that from now on, what’s there to argue about?” Yusuki chuckled and playfully rubbed Izumi’s nose.

”How can that be? He said you haven’t awakened your Sharingan yet, and that so-called genius is just what others say, it doesn’t mean anything in the Uchiha clan.” Izumi pouted, her face full of anger.

Yusuki laughed, ”You little rascal, you’re always so polite, why are you so competitive now?”

”I can be polite about other things, but I can’t let anyone badmouth my brother. Brother became Jonin at twelve, even without the Sharingan, he’s the strongest genius in the family. No, he’s the strongest genius in the village.” Izumi snorted.

Although Yusuki’s strength far surpassed his peers, and he had already reached Jonin level, he still hadn’t awakened his Sharingan. This was often a point of criticism from some members of the clan. Most Uchiha were very proud, to put it bluntly, arrogant, especially when it came to the Sharingan, they had an unhealthy sense of pride.

Many clan members believed that the Uchiha with the Sharingan were invincible, and Yusuki, who had yet to awaken his Sharingan, was still considered a mediocrity in their eyes, even though he was very strong. In their view, they, with their Sharingan, could easily defeat Yusuki.

Yusuki himself was also puzzled by the Sharingan’s delay in awakening, so he had consulted a lot of historical materials and conducted a lot of research.

Finally, Yusuki discovered that the necessary condition for awakening was a great emotional stimulus. The most common was a great danger to someone they cared about or to themselves. Only this kind of stimulus could trigger the Sharingan’s awakening.

After understanding the conditions for awakening, Yusuki could only shake his head helplessly.

He had few friends, and his family was all in the village, never going to dangerous battlefields. Because of his superior strength, he rarely encountered danger, and he always managed to defuse it, so much so that he had become a Jonin, but his Sharingan hadn’t awakened yet.

However, Yusuki wasn’t particularly concerned about this, because his true trump card was a weapon that accompanied him when he traveled to the Naruto world, a weapon that didn’t belong to the Naruto world.

At this moment, deep within Yusuki’s soul, a katana enveloped in flames was floating.

The katana had a long blade, covered in cloud patterns like flames, shining with a crimson glow in the midst of the raging fire. It was the strongest and oldest fire-type Zanpakuto in Bleach: Ryujin Jakka!

Ryujin Jakka usually slumbered within Yusuki’s soul, but he could summon it whenever he fought.

Because of Ryujin Jakka’s fiery nature, it had subtly influenced Yusuki over the past ten years, making his fire chakra extremely abundant and pure.

Yusuki was also very good at leveraging his strengths. Over the years, he had focused on developing his fire chakra and related jutsu.

However, Yusuki couldn’t fully control Ryujin Jakka. The Zanpakuto’s power was too ferocious, and he had only recently mastered the ”Shikai” state.

Even just the ”Shikai” had greatly increased Yusuki’s strength, making him shine in the Third Shinobi World War, earning him the title of ”Flame Sword”.

When Yusuki and Izumi returned home, a simple but exquisite home-cooked meal was already prepared.

”Yusuki, you’re back. Come and eat. You’re already a Jonin, you don’t have to push yourself so hard,” Uchiha Yuzuki said with a gentle smile.

Uchiha Yuzuki was Yusuki and Izumi’s mother. She looked to be in her late twenties, with features similar to Izumi’s, but more mature.

Yusuki put Izumi down and sat cross-legged at the dinner table, smiling, ”A shinobi can never relax, a little extra effort in peacetime could save a life in a critical moment.”

Hearing Yusuki’s words, Uchiha Yuzuki’s face also showed a look of sadness, ”So many people died in this war, so many familiar faces from the clan are gone. Sigh, I don’t know how long the Great Ninja Wars will continue.”

”You’re a Jonin, but the world of shinobi is too dangerous, you must be careful.” Uchiha Yuzuki continued to admonish Yusuki.

”I understand, don’t worry.” Yusuki replied seriously, then clasped his hands together, ”Itadakimasu.”

Izumi sat down and also prepared to eat, clasping her hands together, ”Itadakimasu!”

In Japanese tradition, regardless of age, everyone must clasp their hands together and say ”Itadakimasu” before eating, as a sign of respect for the food and gratitude for having food to eat.

Gently watching the two finish their dinner, Uchiha Yuzuki took out a stack of black clothes from the house, ”Tomorrow morning, there will be a grand memorial service to commemorate all the villagers who died in this war. I’ve prepared the clothes for you, remember to change into them before you go.”

”Another memorial service?” Yusuki muttered.
