I Can Stock Up in the Game

Chapter 145: Chapter 105: Zhao Neng, Don’t Get Us All Killed

She wondered if she was the only one who felt this way.

After washing up and leaving her tent, she saw that the other girls were also awake. She asked, ”How did everyone sleep last night?”

”Lin, I slept so well last night,” Liu Qian said without hesitation.

Zhang Yuan added, ”I usually have trouble sleeping in new places, but my sleep quality last night was surprisingly good.”

Lin Mengyao and Fu Yao nodded in agreement.

They had indeed slept very well.

Lin Muxue could now be certain that the campground’s sleeping environment was excellent. She just didn’t know if it was due to the location itself or the quality of the tents and sleeping pads.

’It doesn’t really matter,’ she thought. ’For the promotion, we can just say, ”A special environment combined with high-quality camping gear provides you with the best possible sleep.”’

...

Zhang Lin was also up early. He immediately pulled out his phone to check the video from that finance blogger. He’d had Senior Sister Lin secretly manage things yesterday and wasn’t sure how it had turned out.

When he saw the related news, a smile spread across his face.

Although the stealth marketing campaign hadn’t become a top trending topic, it was already gaining traction. Many people were even tagging the relevant departments of Ming City and Min Province. Under these circumstances, people like Zhao Han and Wei Yuan were probably breaking out in a cold sweat.

’What an undeserved disaster for them.’

With that thought, he washed up, had some breakfast, and headed to the farm. As soon as he arrived at the office center, he saw that Lin Muxue, Fu Yao, and the other women were already there.

”President Zhang, the video shoot is almost done. What’s the final price for a night at the campground?” Lin Muxue asked as soon as she saw him.

”Let’s make it 200 yuan a night,” Zhang Lin replied. He had already decided on this price. Although the campground had game-like features, the cost of tent accommodation was lower. Of course, this 200 yuan was purely for the lodging.

”Okay, got it,” Lin Muxue nodded.

Zhang Lin then turned to Fu Yao. ”Fu Yao, you’re the one who designed this campground. I mentioned before that I wanted you to take charge of the campground project. I’m counting on you!”

”Me?” Fu Yao was clearly taken aback for a moment.

Lin Muxue and the others subconsciously looked at her, their eyes filled with a hint of envy.

Zhang Lin suddenly remembered something. ”By the way, after the campground opens, announce to the public that due to special circumstances, the farm can only accommodate 5,000 visitors for the time being. Only visitors who have booked a spot at the campground can purchase tickets for the Flower Sea and the Bamboo Maze!”

”President Zhang, why would we do that?” Lin Muxue was stunned.

’How much money would we lose each day?’

’Everyone else is afraid of not having enough visitors, but here you are, launching a new project and actively limiting them?’

Zhang Lin explained, ”When our campground opens, Kailin Investment will likely launch their project too. The only thing they can do is try to poach visitors from our farm. But they’re like a foot massage parlor with no masseuses. Even if they offer overnight stays, who’s going to go if there are no ’masseuses’?”

His words made Lin Muxue immediately understand what he meant.

Li Yuan Farm has its two main ’techniques’—the Flower Sea and the Bamboo Maze. Plus, the campground itself is an attraction. That’s what draws in visitors.

Without these attractions, why would visitors go there?

With this new policy, the competition wouldn’t be able to poach a single visitor, leaving their campground completely empty.

And given the special situation online right now...

When their project fails, You City will be in an even more awkward position.

Before, the farm brought in over 10,000 visitors a day. Now, with only 5,000, the economic boost for the area will be cut in half.

If this contrast gets amplified online...

...Kailin Investment will probably suffer a fatal blow.

Before long, Lin Muxue and her team finished editing the promotional video and posted it to their Tiao Yin account to begin the campaign.

The moment the video was released, Kailin Investment, which had been watching closely, was immediately aware of it.

Zhao Neng received a report from his assistant right away. ”200 yuan a night?”

”Yes, President Zhao,” the assistant nodded.

Zhao Neng immediately ordered, ”We’ll also price ours at 200 yuan, but we’ll subsidize it by 30 percent. On top of that, give a 15-yuan Flower Sea voucher and a 10-yuan taxi voucher to anyone who follows our farm’s account!”

This meant that one night at his campground would be 85 yuan cheaper than at Li Yuan Farm and even cheaper than other accommodations in You City. He refused to believe that visitors wouldn’t know which to choose.

Since Li Yuan Farm could only host 5,000 people, he intended to attract all the other visitors. He was even confident that his own campground would have more guests than Li Yuan Farm’s.

”Go arrange the plan!” Zhao Neng ordered his assistant confidently. But before the assistant could reply, an angry figure stormed into the office.

Seeing the person, Zhao Neng immediately went forward with a warm greeting, only to be met with a furious curse: ”Zhao Neng, what the hell do you think you’re doing? Don’t drag everyone down with you!”
