Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 147: Chapter 147: Taking Over the Territory, Rescuing the Farmers

Zong Shen summoned the guidance of the arrow once again.

After emerging from the mountain pass in the northwest direction of the territory, they proceeded all the way south, occasionally adjusting their position towards the west.

Over an hour later, Zong Shen and his companions, following the guidance, finally arrived outside one of Sangui Yingshu’s territories, where five ragged farmers were gathering near the territory.

Four Wolf Cavalry and a Warrior wielding double axes roamed nearby, eliminating any zombies and Burrow Monsters attempting to approach.

Within a few hundred meters surrounding the area, many places had soil that was yellow-green, which was the state after being contaminated by the plague effect, indicating that this camp had also suffered several attacks from the Burrow Monsters.

The scale of the entire territory was decent, but there were no valuable special buildings.

A Tier 1 Elemental Arrow Tower stood in the center of the territory, but since Sangui Yingshu had died, this Elemental Arrow Tower lost its functionality.

Zong Shen, riding on the Old Traveling Horse, calmly arrived outside the territory, immediately attracting the attention of those soldiers.

Before declaring occupation, the soldiers of an unclaimed territory will remain in a 24-hour transition period.

During this 24 hours, they will still perform their duties.

”Stranger, please stop!”

The four Wolf Cavalry and the Mad Axe Warrior all rushed over.

Blocking Zong Shen.

Zong Shen, however, was completely unfazed by this.

”Your Lord died at the hands of an out-of-control Heavy Combat Puppet.”

”I am here to rescue you.”

While saying this, he continued forward on the Old Traveling Horse, bypassing them from the side.

The soldiers behind him blocked the four Wolf Cavalry and the Mad Axe Warrior.

Those farmers stopped working.

They stood up straight, staring in a daze at Zong Shen’s arrival.

Zong Shen arrived at the courtyard gate.

[Unclaimed Status Territory, Declare Occupation?],

[Yes][No]

Zong Shen selected [Yes] without hesitation.

Rescuing these poor farmers and soldiers is an obligation that Mr. Zong cannot shirk!

After the occupation, those farmers and soldiers suddenly snapped out of it, seemingly realizing the situation.

”Oppression and humiliation are things of the past!”

”Join my territory, gain dignity and honor!

The Hunger Level of these people was very low; according to the Official Period rules, they were all in a semi-starved state.

Zong Shen even saw, in the corner outside the courtyard, the cleanly picked carcass of a Porcupine.

Blood had soaked into the soil, and after being washed by the rain, it turned faint red, likely the work of these soldiers and farmers.

Zong Shen’s arrival was like a timely rain; these soldiers and farmers desperately wanted to join a normal territory.

Sangui Yingshu, this fellow, was truly unmentionable when it came to territory development and management of his subordinates.

He never regarded these Indigenous People as humans, merely treating them as NPCs bound by rules.

So, these farmers and soldiers readily agreed to join Zong Shen’s territory.

Now Zong Shen possesses twenty-eight farmers, twenty-seven Wolf Cavalry, and one Mad Axe Warrior.

The Mad Axe Warrior is Tier Three Infantry of the Nord Kingdom.

Zong Shen had seen them several times before, even saw some being put up for sale with Barracks Construction Blueprints of Mad Axe Warriors, but it was the first time he managed to recruit them under his command.

This made Zong Shen take a closer look.

The Mad Axe Warrior wore only simple leather armor, with muscular arms bare, dark and firm.

Standing about 1.8 meters tall, his medium-length hair was tied back in a ponytail.

He had a thick circle of beard around his lips, looking mature and wild.

Two axes were directly inserted in the leather buckles at the sides of his waist.

(A mad dog on the battlefield, the lower the blood volume, the higher the damage, born solely for hacking)

It’s quite decent; a qualified Tier Three melee unit.

If matched with shielded units, it can deal tons of damage to lightly armored or unarmored enemies.

However, it’s not too effective against high-armor units.

Then, he stepped into the courtyard, directly opened the Storage Box.

Similarly received a batch of resources inside, but did not find Sangui Yingshu’s relics.

It seems his relics must have refreshed in another territory.

This territory is rather awkward now.

Zong Shen currently doesn’t want to disperse his energy.

Even if he were to establish a sub-city, he wouldn’t choose here due to the lack of advantages.

Sangui Yingshu had a completely baffling layout, dividing even these small bits into two territories.

Only by concentrating efforts on building a core territory can one cope with various challenges.

Of course, striking while the iron is hot, the Lord’s strength is equally important.

The existence of assassin streams is the bane of purely weak Wisdom Charm Lords.

Even after acquiring heroes, Lords still need to go out; should a purely Wisdom Charm Lord encounter a strong assassin, they’d be easily beaten.

Moreover, securing powerful soldiers also requires the Lord to have good strength.

Therefore, the path Zong Shen chose initially offers the lowest error tolerance.

Command and logistics can be delegated to heroes, while personal strength isn’t lacking, to face various crises and challenges.

In this territory, the buildings can’t be dismantled; although they can be relocated, these ordinary buildings are useless.

Because only one building can be selected at a time, requiring a selection point spanning over ten kilometers.

For instance, relocating a building like the Grass Hut isn’t worthwhile.

However, the Elemental Arrow Tower in the territory is not bad. Zong Shen plans to collect it after acquiring another territory, with a few more trips to relocate it.

This time, he also split off two Wolf Cavalry, leading the newly joined four Wolf Riders, five farmers, and the Mad Axe Warrior to return to the territory first.

A journey of seventeen kilometers, walking on foot, requires at least three hours.

As for himself, he took the remaining forces and headed to Sangui Yingshu’s next territory.

This time they changed direction.

After advancing four or five kilometers to the northwest, they found their target.

This territory was located next to a small stream, which also flowed out from the mountains to the north.

After the rain, it was still a bit rapid and turbid, flowing from north to south, winding its way!
