Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 127: Chapter 127: Looting the Abandoned Dragon Nest, Treasure Hunting Contest

A wild monster-hunting feast has begun!

With Holy Light Warrior Dole as the main damage dealer and powerful Fire Rain Magic.

The group launched an all-out attack, swiftly taking down the Water Elements.

If someone could look down from the sky at this moment.

They would see those Water Elements huddled together like a large piece of light blue pudding.

Zong Shen and the others are like a big mouth devouring the pudding.

Gradually consuming this group of Water Elements completely.

Over a hundred Water Elements burst into hundreds of glows.

These glows scattered on the ground, creating a spectacular sight.

Zong Shen and Jiang Yi began collecting them at the same time.

Fortunately, items of the same type could be stacked, otherwise their personal storage grid and backpacks wouldn’t be able to hold them all.

Jiang Yi never thought that one day she could receive so many rewards that her hands would feel weary.

Unfortunately, according to the previous agreement, she could only get twenty percent of these rewards.

But even so, this exploration today was quite favorable for her.

After all, the main offense task was undertaken by Zong Shen and his soldiers, while Jiang Yi was merely an assistant, expending an Excellent Level Magic Rune.

If she hadn’t collaborated with Zong Shen, relying solely on herself, she would need several months of development just to easily take down the Purple Commander Level monster.

Purple Commander Level monsters have extremely strong attributes and devastating skills; without the robust Holy Spirit Warriors, even with the group’s forces, defeating the Dragon Blood Water Element would not be without sacrificing a few soldiers.

Thinking of this, Jiang Yi’s heart suddenly felt much more balanced.

Picked up all the rewards.

Zong Shen and Jiang Yi entered the cave once more.

Inside the cave, there were three unopened treasure chests.

Their soldiers were on guard on Lake Heart Island.

Before distributing the loot...

No, before dividing, they needed to carefully explore the Dragon Nest.

Those treasure-hungry folks have an almost obsessive love for collecting treasures.

But this suggests that if those guys were moving, they would surely tidy up those treasures cleanly.

However, what if there are remnants?

Even if some ”scraps” remain for Zong Shen and the others, they might still be useful.

Zong Shen took a look at the so-called Dragon Nest, which was actually a large cave.

Due to years of abandonment, the cave was slightly damp.

Moss had spread all over the cave walls.

Inside the cave were many collapsed rocks, fertile silt piling in every crevice.

Weeds growing rampant above, everywhere looked desolate.

Zong Shen began to quietly inquire about strategies.

Suddenly, more than a dozen places marked with golden circles appeared in front of him.

He immediately felt confident.

”Lord Jiang, let’s have a treasure-hunting contest.”

He suggested with a smile suddenly appearing on his face.

”Huh? A treasure-hunting contest?”

Jiang Yi was a bit confused.

”Yes, a treasure-hunting contest, the rewards we obtained before and the unopened treasure chests here will be allocated according to the original agreement.”

”Now, we will explore this cave ruin, and any treasures found during this will belong to the discoverer themselves.”

”What do you think?”

Zong Shen continued, the smile on his face growing stronger.

On the surface, this place had long been abandoned; it seemed there was nothing worthwhile to explore anymore.

”Oh, okay!”

Jiang Yi quickly nodded to express her agreement.

Then the two began their search.

Jiang Yi’s targets were quite random; she briefly checked a few places.

Unfortunately, aside from rocks there was just mud.

Besides that, she dug up some giant skeletons of unknown creatures.

These skeletons were probably one of the meals of that treasure-hungry fellow back in those days.

Zong Shen’s targets, however, were very precise.

He went straight to the nearest marked location.

It was right beside a pile of rubble.

Zong Shen took out the Broadsword, using it like a shovel, started to excavate in the spot.

Soon, he had dug a small pit.

”Clang!”

The blade seemed to hit something hard.

A metallic collision sound rang out.

Zong Shen withdrew the Broadsword and stuck it aside.

He reached into the pit, groping around.

Soon enough, he touched something the size of a palm, hard and cool to the touch.

It was embedded in the soil; he pulled it out directly,

Cleaning off the mud on its surface.

It revealed a piece of pitch-black scale.

This scale was solid black, non-reflective, non-transparent.

Its texture felt somewhat like metal, yet its smoothness was akin to some kind of horn.

As big as a palm, it weighed nothing when held in the hand.

Upon closer inspection, one could see circular patterns resembling annual rings on its surface.

[Loose Dragon Scale (Purple)]

[Slightly worn loose Dragon Scale, solid texture, lightweight and an excellent forging material]

(Just like human dandruff falling, Giant Dragons would also shed some scales)

Indeed, it was a Dragon Scale; even a random loose Dragon Scale was Rare Level material.

That Giant Dragon is simply a treasure trove.

No wonder warriors always dream of slaying dragons.

Beside him, Jiang Yi’s expression heated up watching the Dragon Scale in Zong Shen’s hand.

This was Rare Level forging material; even if not needed personally, it could be sold on the market to exchange for many resources,

”There really is treasure!”

She eagerly took out a Whiteboard Longsword to dig into the ground energetically.

Motivation, here it comes!

Zong Shen was unconcerned.

Heading towards the nearest marked point.

The sizable Dragon Nest had only a dozen or so marked points; with Jiang Yi digging randomly, she had a slim chance of success.

This time, he chose a marked point in the nearby debris area.

Zong Shen moved stones, shifted the remnants of pillars and statues.

Meticulously searched beneath the ruins.

Soon, he discovered something.

Beneath the ruins, there lay a Broken Sword.

It was a Two-Handed Greatsword with unique emblems engraved on it.

The blade was exceedingly broad, about a palm’s width.

The blade and the body retained a certain thickness.

It was a Heavy Sword capable of cutting through flesh and bone.

Zong Shen gripped the hilt, slowly withdrawing it from the ruins.

Even with his Strength Value, he found the heavy sword weighted heavily in his hands.

Unfortunately, the tip of the Heavy Sword had already fractured.

Cracks spread vertically from the middle to the base, though the blade hadn’t fully split, and it retained roughly two-thirds of its original length, approximately 1.2 meters total.

The hilt alone was forty centimeters long.

Presumably, if this heavy sword hadn’t been damaged, it would reach a total length of 1.6 meters.

The thickest point of the blade nearly 1.5 centimeters!

Using this type of heavy war sword in combat.

Was practically wielding half a door plank!

This weapon wasn’t for ordinary people to handle.

Beside him, Jiang Yi noticed Zong Shen had found something again.

Involuntarily directing her gaze toward him.

She was immediately captivated by the sword’s aesthetic of metallic strength and beauty.

This thing is clearly extraordinary!

Unfortunately, it’s a cracked, ruined Broken Sword!

Jiang Yi felt a pang of regret in her heart.

She then focused her attention back on the pit at her feet!

She too wanted to find treasure!
