Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 122: Chapter 122: Mass Flying Magic, Water Elemental Giant

However, Zong Shen still kept a hint of vigilance in his heart.

Since Jiang Yi is fully prepared and has items that can cross the lake without harm, why does she insist on taking me along?

This indicates that there must be something fishy about Lake Heart Island.

For any good opportunity that can be handled solo, Jiang Yi surely wouldn’t go to such lengths to bring me along.

But since the strategy did not issue a warning, the problem should not be major.

Zong Shen pondered for a moment.

He nodded in agreement.

Excluding the two Lords, the Group Flight Rune can still carry eighteen soldiers.

The question is whether cavalry and their mounts count as one unit or two units.

If they count as one unit, could Pigsy carry a few soldiers and fly?

As soon as the question arose in his mind, the strategy emerged.

(The mount and soldier of the cavalry count as one unit within the carrying limit of the flying magic.

As for your big pig, forget it, it’s already severely overloaded.)

With that, Zong Shen immediately understood.

He discussed with Jiang Yi and ultimately decided that he would take six Wolf Cavalry, two Burrowing Demons, two Mages, Luna, and Sharp Claw Druid, totaling twelve soldiers.

Tiezhu, Burrowing Demons, Pigsy, and the remaining six Wolf Cavalry would remain on the shore.

As for Jiang Yi, six soldiers she brought along would join the fray.

After finalizing the twenty flying slots.

The expedition team gathered together.

The others retreated a few dozen meters, waiting by the lakeside.

Jiang Yi began to activate the effect of the [Group Flight Rune].

Whirlwinds of cyan air swept out, surrounding everyone with a circle of Magic Energy.

Everyone immediately floated up, controlling the flying direction according to their intentions.

Once everyone adapted, they soared to an altitude of about a hundred meters, which was outside the warning range of the Water Elements.

After confirming their safety, they flew toward the heart of the lake!

...

In the woods by the lakeside, not far from where they took off.

Several shadowy figures were concealed behind the trees.

Discussing something.

”Mijello, they’ve flown over...”

The energetic female assassin named Caitlyn reminded softly.

”Shut up, I have eyes myself.”

”With those Water Elements, flying over is certainly the best option.”

”We must find a way to cross the lake...”

The man clad in black Blade Armor rudely interrupted her.

The lake before them was a challenge.

All of them were assassin-type soldiers.

With powerful stealth abilities and strong attack methods.

Four people striking simultaneously with their assassination skills could almost instantly kill a thousand health points’ medium-armored unit, but due to the cooling time limitation, in actual combat, they only have one chance to strike.

”We can’t be impulsive. Since we cannot go ashore, let’s wait here for now.”

The black Blade Armor assassin named Mijello restrained his inner thoughts and decided to continue the ambush.

A successful assassination often requires great patience.

...

It took more than a minute for Zong Shen and his team to land safely on Lake Heart Island.

Lake Heart Island was actually quite large.

The island was overgrown with weeds, yet covered in a layer of mist.

Below everyone’s knees, there was a layer of mist rolling and spreading.

Plus, the weather was gloomy today, and being on Lake Heart Island felt like walking through clouds.

In the surrounding sight, a few collapsed stone pillars and damaged stone statues could be seen.

After countless years, the surface was covered with moss, only the rough outlines were visible.

But it was enough to prove that this was indeed a ruin.

On the island, there was a small mountain.

One side of the mountain had been completely hollowed out.

Forming a large concave pit about a hundred meters high.

It was a semi-open cave.

Zong Shen reached out and touched the fallen stone sculpture by the roadside.

The thick layer of dead moss and slightly sticky mud all proved the stone sculpture had been sealed for a long time.

Having endured countless winds and rains, frost and snow, births and deaths.

Here, it should have been a Dragon Nest first, and then the fragments of that Arcane Crystal fell.

The history of the Dragon Nest was much older.

Yet Zong Shen did not act recklessly.

Lake Heart Island was definitely not that simple.

Not a place where one can do as they please.

”Sect Lord, be careful, they are coming.”

Jiang Yi suddenly said, her tone unprecedentedly grave.

Sure enough, the knee-high mist on the island began to surge.

Deep blue viscous globules kept rolling out from the cave of the old Dragon Nest.

Gathered in front of Zong Shen and the others, they began to coalesce.

This was a sign that some Water Elements were about to take shape.

”Favide, throw a fireball over there.”

Zong Shen waved his hand, staring at the gradually forming dark blue liquid mass and said.

Upon hearing this, Favide immediately began to chant.

Soon, a fist-sized fireball flew out.

It exploded directly on the large mass of Water Element, blasting a basin-sized liquid mass away.

Yet it did not cause any damage.

The gap was rapidly closing.

This attack acted like a catalyst, instead accelerating its coagulation process.

Moreover, it kept growing larger.

Eventually, it transformed into two giant Water Elements, about six or seven meters tall.

It had two entirely deep blue liquid-formed fists, looking very intimidating.

”Just Captain-level monsters, not a big problem.”

”Even a simple gang battle can take them out.”

Zong Shen, looking calm, said to Jiang Yi.

But he saw Jiang Yi’s expression still severe, pointing towards the large cave ahead.

More light green solidified liquid masses began to gather.

Wrapped in these liquid masses were strands of red blood veins, as well as dull palm-sized scales.

The liquid masses rapidly merged and solidified, eventually forming a circular liquid mass several tens of meters in size.

Then, it began transforming into a gigantic Water Element, towering twenty to thirty meters high.

This Water Element was not only enormous, but its body had some peculiar features!

Compared to other Water Elements, it was noticeably more bizarre!
