Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 114: Chapter 114: Goblin Rippers and Burrowing Demons

Zong Shen felt much better after checking the spoils of war.

Especially after obtaining five Recruitment Scrolls, Zong Shen was invigorated.

He immediately chose to use them.

The five Recruitment Scrolls turned into five beams of light, landing on the empty ground before him.

They divided into two distinct groups, beginning to form a Summoning Array from the Other Dimension.

Five Space Singularities coalesced, the light expanded to its utmost, and then began to condense and retract.

Ultimately, five towering figures were left in place.

”Creak!”

Accompanied by the sound of mechanical joints twisting, two goblins piloting three-meter-tall Magic Energy Mecha came to Zong Shen first.

Then, they nimbly jumped down from the mecha.

”Oh my, great Lord, you are so tall!”

”It is an absolute honor to become your subordinates!”

”Tearer Mecha pilots Steel Fire Pierce/Oil Machine Carlos, reporting!”

The height of the two goblins was slightly shorter than those goblins, but taller than kobolds.

They were about waist-high to Zong Shen, with green skin all over and brown beards.

Their eyes were extremely agile, curiously examining their surroundings.

At the same time, Zong Shen was also observing them.

[Goblin Ripper: Steel Fire Pierce/Oil Machine Carlos]

[Talent: Excellent]

[Level: lv10]

[Attributes: (Click to expand)]

[Hunger Level/Durability: 80/95]

[Loyalty: 80]

The attributes were almost identical to those of Ah Ze’s Goblin Ripper.

Zong Shen was quite satisfied with this, mastering both combat and labor, a versatile troop type.

”Very good, I believe you will certainly contribute to the territory’s development!”

Zong Shen nodded in approval, encouraging them a bit.

The two goblins saluted again, then nimbly climbed onto the Tearer Mecha, moving to stand by Zong Shen’s side accompanied by mechanical sounds.

”Rustle rustle!”

At this moment, three other huge and menacing figures also approached.

They resembled Spider Web Monsters but were even more sinister in appearance.

Their abdomens weren’t as bloated as Spider Web Monsters, and their lower limbs were more streamlined.

Their upper bodies were still spider-like, standing about two meters tall, slightly upright with four smaller blade-like legs.

They had sharp black blade-like teeth protruding from their mouths.

Their bodies were covered in red circular patterns.

They also came to stand before Zong Shen.

Four compound eyes stared at Zong Shen, and their six spindle-like jointed legs bent, making a gesture of obeisance.

”Great Lord, we are willing to drain all the enemy’s blood for you!”

”Burrowing Demons Lauri/Worth/Bender, reporting!”

Their voices were quite strange, as if something was stuck in their throats, sounding somewhat grating.

But at least they could communicate, so who needs a luxury?

Zong Shen began secretly observing their attributes.

[Burrowing Demon: Lauri/Worth/Bender]

[Talent: Excellent]

[Level: lv10]

[Attributes: (Click to expand)]

[Hunger Level: 80]

[Loyalty: 70]

Perhaps due to racial reasons, their initial loyalty was ten points lower than that of the Goblin Rippers.

Then, Zong Shen expanded the detailed attributes.

[Burrowing Demon: Lauri/Worth/Bender]

[Strength: 25]

[Agility: 36]

[Wisdom: 10]

[Charm: 2]

[Life Value: 525]

[Piercing Damage: 74]

[Head Armor Value: 15]

[Upper Body Armor Value: 25]

[Lower Body Armor Value: 20]

[Magic Resistance: 20]

[Skills: Drilling lv5 (can burrow underground, entering a stealth state, continuously restoring life value, restoring 5 points of life per second, Duration 2 minutes, Cooling Time 1 hour)

Strong Capture Net lv10 (spews out a net with a Range of 200 meters, Shooting Height 150 meters, hitting the target with 100% accuracy, immobilizing it in place for 3 seconds. If it hits an aerial unit, it pulls it to the ground, Cooling Time 2h)

Bloodthirst lv10 (enters a state of bloodthirst lasting 40 seconds, Full Body Armor Value becomes zero, increases Attack Power by 50% and Attack Speed by 50%, after Duration ends, enters a weakened state for 2 minutes, All Attributes reduced by 20%, Cooling Time 2 hours)]

(Over ten thousand years ago, these cruel demons were warriors of the ancient Spider Kingdom Azuo-Nirubo, which once ruled the northern continent. Today, the Spider Kingdom exists only underground, but they are still powerful hunters in the burrow.)

Not bad, the Burrowing Demons are ranged units.

This makes the troop configuration in the territory between melee and ranged more balanced.

”Very good, great burrow warriors, I will grant you just favors.”

”And bestow upon you the right to earn honors equally!”

Zong Shen nodded slightly, and these menacing burrow demons became increasingly pleasing to his eyes.

”You may all withdraw now. There are no extra tasks tonight.”

He waved his hand, dismissing the Goblin Rippers and Burrowing Demons.

Letting them find a place to rest on their own.

Even though the three Burrowing Demons could dig their own holes to rest,

the number of Houses and Grass Huts in the territory was severely lacking.

Including the eight temporary Tier One Grass Huts built tonight, there were sixteen Grass Huts and three Houses in total in the territory.

Which could only accommodate 50 Population units for resting.

A significant shortfall!

These are issues that need to be solved.

Zong Shen decided to carefully plan and solve the housing issues tomorrow morning.

Now, with the number of soldiers and farmers in the camp increasing daily,

the overall trend towards division of labor was becoming more apparent.

Among the soldiers, the only type currently able to fill an entire small team was the reliable Wolf Cavalry.

In the early stages of territorial development, having a mishmash of soldier types was still manageable.

After all, in the beginning, lacking resources, having any soldiers was already fortunate.

But going forward, he needed to think of ways to configure each soldier type into small teams or even larger battalions.

Establishing a comprehensive joint combat system is a military progression that a strong territory must complete.

Zong Shen thought about the current issues and felt a bit of a headache.

At that moment, a whistle from the Wolf Cavalry was heard from afar, and a shadow appeared again.

The five Wolf Cavalry units that Zong Shen dispatched for support were at the forefront.

Followed by ten grassland cattle with five farmers riding them.

At the back of the queue were the Ranger Madeleine and the Druid Lensa riding Avalon Prairie Horses.

After more than 8 hours of travel, they finally successfully brought the farmers and grassland cattle back into the territory.

Zong Shen finally breathed a sigh of relief.

”Sir, we have completed the escort mission, bringing the farmers and grassland cattle back safely to the territory.”

Madeleine and Lensa dismounted and said with a bow.

”Thank you for your hard work; go and rest now.”

Zong Shen smiled approvingly, for long-distance travel was the most exhausting, and he assigned no tasks, letting them rest.

He called San Pang over to assign the newly joined farmers.

After doing all this,

Notifications about attacks were constantly flashing in the corner of his vision.

Wenresa, along with the soldiers, was efficiently hunting.

Zong Shen finally felt at ease.

He used his intention to dispel the notifications before heading to the [Market] again.
