Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 121: Chapter 121: Manic Water Element and Lake Crossing Plan

The black long arrow shot into the lake like a black lightning.

”Splash!”

A splash of water erupted, causing ripples to spread across the lake’s surface.

Interestingly, this arrow actually caused damage.

”Gulp...”

”Gulp, gulp...”

The part of the lake hit by the arrow began to boil immediately.

The flowing water started to gather together, forming five or six humanoid monsters.

These monsters were completely made up of transparent lake water.

Standing three meters tall, their legs resembled waves.

Their whole bodies had wave-like folds, appearing angular, strange, and menacing.

Among them, three or four were water elements about the height of an average person.

The translucent bodies glimmered with faint blue light, strange runes swirling continuously.

It made their bodies appear a pale blue hue.

Now we could finally examine their attributes.

(Their skeleton is formed from condensed water elements, their skin constrained by arcane magic power, with water circulating in the arcane arena as blood, creating these elemental creatures - water elements)

These Water Elements advanced relying on the surging water beneath them.

Though faceless, they appeared rather excited.

Water surged around them frantically.

They just landed directly and began to chant.

Zong Shen brought twenty soldiers, Jiang Yi brought six soldiers.

When facing these five or six Water Elements, there wasn’t any need to consider tactics.

Zong Shen waved his hand, and the Wolf Cavalry and Sharp Claw Druid charged forward like wolves and tigers.

The mages began to chant.

Three Burrowing Demons crept forward a few footsteps.

Finding a suitable position for output.

”Fall before Heaven’s Wrath.”

They shouted with cryptic voices.

Began to spit out pitch-black spines at those Water Elements.

These spines were only thumb-sized but had more force than arrows.

Like black bullets, they shot toward the Water Elements.

[-47]

[-47]

...

Although actual damage was reduced by passive skills.

But it still caused considerable damage.

The retaliation from the Water Elements was hardly worth mentioning.

So many soldiers rushing forward made them incapable of chanting smoothly.

In less than a minute.

Along with the prompts of slaying, these Water Elements were completely devastated.

After the Water Elements were slain, their bodies collapsed directly, reverting to water flow state, leaving only patches of pale blue water stains and several white and green light balls.

”So strong!”

Jiang Yi watched the soldiers slay the Water Elements as if chopping vegetables, speaking involuntarily.

Although she had twelve soldiers, which was already quite respectable among lords.

But usually when she went out exploring, she’d only bring seven or eight soldiers, needing to leave some at home for patrol, protecting the farmers.

Couldn’t be as clean and swift as this.

”The part of the lake just now won’t condense Water Elements again anytime soon.”

”This large lake is oval-shaped, and the shore we’re at is one of the closest points to Lake Heart Island, but still requires swimming for over two kilometers.”

Jiang Yi promptly reminded.

”Every area of the lake has nearly so many Water Elements; they condense and attack upon discovering intruders passing by.”

Zong Shen listened to her words, raising his eyebrows, joy spreading on his face.

”Oh! There’s quite a lot, huh?”

”Then this is really a great place.”

His face was filled with joyous expressions, with no hint of worry.

He went to the shore to collect the rewards.

A few basic Elemental Crystals.

And some special items of Green Level.

[Essence of Magic (Green)]

[Effect: After consumption, restores 100 mana over 20 seconds]

It’s a consumable item to replenish mana.

Zong Shen distributed two parts of the harvest to Jiang Yi proportionally; given his wealth, he wouldn’t haggle over such trivial matters.

”Are there special things in the lake?”

He looked at the lake’s surface, asking the strategy guide.

(In the lake, there is a fragment of an Arcane Crystal that fell from the Other Dimension centuries ago, but this is not something good; due to its fragmentation, its structure is extremely unstable. Over the years, it has been slowly releasing energy, creating a large number of elemental monsters. Touching it blindly might cause a world-shaking explosion, powerful enough to blow the entire lake into the sky)

”Really a great place!”

Zong Shen marveled, unable to imagine the enormous energy of the Arcane Crystal fragment, not only creating so many elemental monsters but also having energy powerful enough to trigger a world-shaking explosion.

He silently kept this in mind.

As it might come in handy in the future.

Now, the issue they must consider is how to get to Lake Heart Island.

With the size of the lake, there are likely thousands of Water Elements, among which there might be Commander Level ones.

Do they need to swim across?

In water, their subordinates probably can’t demonstrate much strength.

Moreover, there are subterranean creatures like Burrowing Demons in the team.

Seems like Jiang Yi saw through Zong Shen’s thoughts.

She softly spoke.

”I have a Group Flight Rune here; it can be used five times, and there are still three chances left, effective on up to 20 targets each time, enabling low-altitude flight for 10 minutes, and a maximum speed of 80 kilometers per hour.”

”In ten minutes, we can manage two or three round trips.”

”Then we’ll take eighteen soldiers and fly directly over.”

She took out a light green Rune Stone somewhat grudgingly.

It was carved with wings.

Pale green currents swirled around it, appearing very nimble.

Filled with wind-like magic energy!

[Group Flight Rune (Blue)]

This was a valuable Excellent Level magic item, seemingly Jiang Yi had been coveting this place for quite a while.

She was very well-prepared!
