Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 110: Chapter 110: Hunting Squad, Gathering Intel

Upon hearing Wenresa’s praise, Luna felt somewhat melancholic.

She didn’t say much, just shook her head.

”It’s all in the past now, General Wenresa. We are all Lord Zong Shen’s subjects now.”

”I believe as long as we follow the Lord, we will surely regain our lost glory.”

Luna’s loyalty was already maxed out, indicating her heartfelt allegiance to Zong Shen.

Wenresa, upon hearing Luna’s words, remained silent, a trace of sadness briefly flashing across her face.

Her loyalty was only 65, and she lacked a strong sense of belonging to the territory. Before entering dimensional slumber, she was a Commander-in-Chief in her own right.

The Silver Covenant Corps, under her command, was composed of High Elf Mages from Dalaran and former Quel’Thalas Pathfinders.

It was an assertive and iron-handed alliance faction.

She herself was known far and wide.

Time has passed, and it was unexpected that the one who summoned her from the Other Dimension was an unremarkable human lord, and this fledgling territory seemed even more insignificant in her eyes.

However, due to the summoning contract, she had no choice but to serve Zong Shen.

These ancient heroes, slumbering in another dimension, were powerful yet proud.

They once had their own glory, requiring effort to properly integrate them.

Of course, there are also many heroic level figures among the current indigenous people.

Including the powerful individuals from the native forces themselves, theoretically, any strong lord could recruit them.

These emerging heroes are generally easier to tame than the ancient heroes.

But now is not the time to be choosy.

Having a hero, particularly one who is a fully equipped purple ancient hero, was already considered extremely lucky!

Watching those two elf women reminiscing, Zong Shen pretended to be indifferent, but in reality, he was eavesdropping attentively on their conversation.

The long-gone era is so fascinating.

Of course, those ancient ruins hiding treasures are even more alluring...

When he heard Luna actively defending him, he couldn’t help but smile with satisfaction.

Wenresa seemed somewhat unconvinced.

It seems that only through the joy of labor will she slowly come to her senses.

Zong Shen thought for a moment, realizing that tonight’s hunt could just be the expedition for her.

The camp had limited remaining forces.

There were three mages, two new recruit crossbowmen, Ranger Mapple, and Korby leading five wolf cavalry.

The others were on their way escorting the second batch of oxen and farmers.

As for Luna and the two wolf riders, after seven or eight hours of escort duty, Zong Shen planned to let them rest.

With this in mind, Zong Shen decided to have Wenresa take a small team out for hunting.

”Wenresa, you’ll be in charge of tonight’s hunt. Set out now and return in 3 to 4 hours. Don’t stray too far from the territory.”

”Korby, bring over two young men.”

Korby, after upgrades and strengthening, now had attributes comparable to a tier three soldier.

Upon receiving Zong Shen’s command, he immediately selected two wolf cavalry in good condition from the ranks.

They approached Zong Shen and stood beside Wenresa, ready for orders.

Zong Shen then selected Aisha and Tasuya, along with two Avalon light crossbowmen and Ranger Mapple.

This formed the hunting squad for the night.

He also handed over two sets of backstabbing arrows crafted by the Dwarf Uncle to Wenresa and Mapple.

With the increase in long-range units in the territory, the supply and inventory of consumables like arrows, javelins, and crossbow arrows must be scheduled.

Wenresa slightly bowed her head to Zong Shen, glanced at the night sky.

”The night is a splendid hunting ground. We will surely return victorious.”

Zong Shen merely nodded, thinking that this guy had even more flair than him, thus any encouragement seemed pointless.

Then, with Zong Shen watching, Wenresa led the soldiers out of the territory into the night.

Tonight, those wild beasts seemed less frenzied than previous nights.

After arranging the hunting team,

Zong Shen took a deep breath, ready to enjoy the lord’s privileges.

He returned to the courtyard entrance, sat down heavily on the doorstep.

Tiezhu, who explored unknown distances today, had not returned by this hour.

However, he hadn’t seen any combat notifications about Tiezhu, so there should be no danger.

Walking exploration takes a lot of time, even though Tiezhu is a tier two professional soldier, with attributes much stronger than a farmer, his efficiency in sustained marching is still less than that of cavalry with mounts.

Zong Shen opened the [Channel] to check on other lords’ survival status.

Assess his own development progress,

to avoid unknowingly becoming a frog in the well.

The refresh on the [World Channel] was too fast, and there were limits on speech, Zong Shen scanned briefly but still didn’t find much useful information.

Calls for help, advertisements, and boasting continued to dominate the World Channel, since there were speech restrictions, no one could idly chat on the World Channel.

Amongst, Zong Shen saw quite a few lucky ones.

A lord with a territory by the sea found an ancient Naga race ruin in a cave under the cliff during low tide. Although there were some sea monsters, he gained a substantial reward.

Another lord landed beside the Si Yuan Giant City of an Indigenous Pandragon Kingdom force. Today, they encountered a small team of Lion Knights led by a second generation Lion Knight Order captain, who requisitioned some of their water. As a result, he gained the organization’s affinity, securing a good job in the city with future opportunities to recruit Lion Attendants and Lion Knights.

Such bouts of lucky encounters were simply countless.

A glance revealed two to three lucky ones in every ten messages.

Because the unlucky ones could no longer speak.

This is called the survivor bias.

With a base of billions, anything is possible.

So even with a golden finger, Zong Shen never let his guard down.

He also never asked the strategy system for unrealistic queries.

First, develop the surrounding relics, establishing a foothold before anything else.

Those with poor mentality will die even with a strategy in hand.

Closing the [World Channel].

Zong Shen opened the [Friends Channel] to check on Ah Ze’s status.

Today, Zong Ze hadn’t messaged him.

He must also be busy building his territory, or engaged in night hunting.

”I’ll contact Ah Ze a bit later.”

Zong Shen quietly closed the [Friends Channel] and then opened the [Regional Channel].

The top of the region now displayed a population of 8581/10000.

Compared to the previous night, 282 people had died in the region.

The mortality rate was decreasing further.

The channel was still lively; without speech restrictions, most lords chose to chat and exchange information via the [Channel] during the night to pass the time.

This time, upon opening the [Regional Channel], Zong Shen discovered some very explosive news.

Two lords were engaged in a fierce argument!
