Global Lords: I Have Information System

Chapter 140: Chapter 140: Burrow Frontline, Wenresa’s Attribute Allocation

It seems the battle outcomes at the frontline should be good.

Zong Shen decided to go take a look at the frontline now.

He planned to ride Pigsy to head to the burrow position in the north.

However, taking another look, Pigsy was happily rolling in the mud pit within the territory.

”Oink oink oink!”

Rolling all over the place, covered in mud.

”Damn it, how am I supposed to ride like this?”

Zong Shen covered his eyes and shook his head helplessly.

Pigsy heard Zong Shen’s voice and stopped rolling.

Lifted his head, looked at Zong Shen.

A pair of big eyes were blinking lively.

A fine fierce beast had been raised into a domestic pig by Zong Shen.

”Alright, stop playing with mud, come with me to the frontline.”

Zong Shen waved his hand at Pigsy, then he walked to the stables.

Inside there were 4 Avalon Prairie Horses left along with that Old Traveling Horse.

He stood at the stable door, the Old Traveling Horse affectionately snorted at him.

Zong Shen walked over and led it out.

”Let’s go, today I’ll take you for a stroll.”

”Smart old horse.”

He reached out to pat its head, Zong Shen stepped on the horse stirrups and got on the horseback.

Pigsy followed behind, humming and snorting.

Heading towards the burrow frontline to the north.

After the rain cleared, the air became much fresher.

There was a scent of soil wafting up.

This was the smell coming from the earth.

Advancing about four to five kilometers northwards, Zong Shen could already see the burrow exit sandwiched between the city walls.

The Elemental Arrow Tower at the back kept flashing lights, firing a pitch-black sharp arrow every three seconds.

The Dragon-kin Ranger sisters, Avalon Crossbowmen, three Burrowing Demons, and all the Mages stood on the roof of the grass hut.

From a high position, they attacked the Burrow Monsters trapped in the wall corridor with ease.

Those monsters were often taken down instantly by various long-range attacks as soon as they left the burrow exit.

Even occasionally appearing Sharp-toothed Worms or large bats couldn’t make it a few steps before being eliminated.

The refresh frequency of the burrow wasn’t fast.

About one batch refreshed every three minutes.

Each batch had roughly four to five monsters, all level 10, with the strongest only at Elite Level.

In just a moment, his points increased to 196.

Estimating roughly, in the whole day, the burrow could spawn about 1900 to 2400 burrow monsters of different levels.

If Zong Shen really managed to solo this burrow, even with experience cuts, it would still be considerable, and he could earn four to five thousand points.

This was unimaginable for other Lords.

Those wandering monsters, although not a threat to the Lord’s life for now, posed a great nuisance to normal resource harvesting for the territory.

Fragile farmers would encounter great danger when facing these burrow monsters.

The territory as well, without the protection of the newbie protection period, if not guarded, even the Lord’s Courtyard would be dismantled.

To maintain harvesting, one had to allocate forces to guard the farmers and the territory.

Only someone as bold as Zong Shen would play a tower defense game right outside the burrow, soloing it.

However, this certainly puts a significant load on the soldiers, necessitating a shift system.

The burrow frontline has a high demand for long-range soldiers.

Due to the defense line, close combat soldiers could barely be deployed for now.

But as the strength of burrow monsters gradually increases daily.

If the number of burrow monsters wandering from other places being eliminated does not keep up with the refresh rate, it could very likely form a monster wave.

This frontline position could very likely fall.

Therefore, within these two to three days, three to four days, Zong Shen must put in all efforts to construct the inner defensive walls of the territory.

There’s still a 560-meter gap in the total length of the city walls to fill, eventually forming a 200m×200m inner defense zone within the territory, with 40,000 square meters enough to accommodate the current territory buildings.

In the future, the city walls can be gradually moved, expanded, or a second wall can be built.

Either way, the resources required are immense.

”Lord, you are here!”

Necromancer Tasuya was the first to notice Zong Shen’s arrival.

Wenresa and the other soldiers stood on the roof of the grass hut, attacking zealously.

In just a short while, she had already leveled up to lv5.

Hearing Tasuya’s words, they all stopped attacking for a moment.

One by one, they greeted Zong Shen.

Fighting is important, but manners should not be neglected.

”My Lord!”

”You have come, my Lord!”

...

Zong Shen nodded, then waved his hand.

”Wenresa, come over here.”

Upon hearing this, Wenresa agilely jumped down from the grass hut roof.

Came in front of Zong Shen, slightly bowed in salute.

”For now, three Burrowing Demons, two Dragon-kin Rangers, two Crossbowmen, three Mages, and two Sharp Claw Druids are temporarily assigned here to guard the frontline.”

”Including nighttime, you need to arrange their shifts reasonably.”

”If you need supplies and materials, contact San Pang and Korby.”

Zong Shen spoke slowly, deciding to station all the long-range corps at the frontline, and also place the two Sharp Claw Druids at the frontline as an emergency supplement for the close combat troops.

Wenresa nodded after hearing this.

”Rest assured, my Lord, my arrows will never let those damned burrow monsters set foot in the territory!”

Zong Shen was very satisfied with Wenresa’s response.

She had already upgraded from lv1 to lv5.

She had a total of 4 allocatable attribute points and 4 allocatable skill points.

Zong Shen opened the attributes, only to find she had already allocated the points herself.

She allocated 3 points to Strength and 1 point to Agility herself.

Making her Strength become 27, Agility become 39.

The upper limit of Strength System skills increased to level 9.

Then she added one skill point each to [Strong Strike] and [Strong Bow].

The remaining two points were all added to [Command], becoming level 5 Command.

Her Command Value turned to 65 points.

Overall, it’s quite good.

As for personal storage grids, it remained in its original state with 20 grids, enough for current use.

At the same time, he also discovered Wenresa’s Loyalty had unknowingly increased by 3 points.

Reached 68 points, no wonder her attitude was slightly better than yesterday’s.

This kind of enhancement occurs without notification, a subtle yet gradual increase.

Other farmers, Kobolds, soldiers are the same.

Loyalty often increased unknowingly by several points.

After doing all this.

Zong Shen stood at the rear, silently watching the slaughter at the front.

His points were also continuously increasing.

Steady! Very steady!

The time was just past 1 in the afternoon.

Taking advantage of the clear weather, Zong Shen prepared to go find some trouble with Sangui Yingshu.

He called the frontline Wolf Cavalry and Tiezhu to his side.

Just so happened to have eight Recruitment Scrolls on hand that hadn’t been used yet.

Among them was a Recruitment Scroll from a Silver Treasure Chest opened from a desolate Dragon Nest, and one that burst from killing a Water Element during the Official Period rule adjustment.

If these Recruitment Scrolls were used, it would also be quite a boost in power!
